Would never recommend this post to anyone. The worker plus supervisor on 01.17.26 in the morning was extremely rude. I wanted to scan my packages which I do daily at my own post office and they would not allow me and the supervisor said go back where you come from then. Imagine it's a Saturday morning, the day majority working Americans are off of work and have time to go to the post office (that usually closes at 5/6PM during the week) and there are two of the SLOWEST workers you could ever imagine working. I came in to check for mail that has not been delivered to me for more than 6 weeks now.... Last time I went in person to file a change of address they never processed my change of address and thanks to this lack of work ethic I have been missing and my mail has been returned to sender for months now. This evening today 03/13/25 I came into ask regarding this issue... the cashier stated that he would get supervisor and had me waiting for close to 20 minutes and nobody appeared. When I finally asked the cashier after 20 minutes on stand by he said the "supervisor was still on break". I had already seen the yelp reviews on this post office but didn't believe it was so to the point!! Please have better service for your community as not all of us have the language barrier and actually speak English. This is very frustrating and irresponsible for your customers who have important mail pending and our businesses are not a joke. I did my change of address from my previous PO Box to my residence address and actually physically filled the form.... As of today I was just told that nothing was ever changed and the change of address does not appear on the system. This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable as it's not on my control to actually process this change of address after I have filed the form!!! How do I get my mail?? I've tried going multiple times and nothing gets resolved!!! I'm very disappointed with my local post office and hope they start treating people with more respect and due diligence!!! It's the post office so there's not too much to tell. I have not had the pleasure of going inside beyond going to the self serve machine to buy stamps or drop a letter or two in the outgoing mail slot. I do like that they have two drive up receptacles to collect mail for those who do not want or have the time to exit their vehicle. The building itself is tricky to find as it is hidden between the back of BJ's and some office space. There is plenty of parking when it's not prime time at the post office or a holiday rush. They do offer p o box services as well. read more

USPS Tracking report that my package is Out for Delivery on 05/06/2024 between 3:45 PM and 7:45 PM, the about 2 hours ago (approx. 1;10PM) they posted that my mail has a "Delivery Exception" that they attempted delivery but unable to get to the delivery location. WTF? No one came to deliver anything at all. This USPS problems plus others are becoming the norm and yet they continue to charge more for services that they do not provide! read more

What happened to no rain, sleet, or snow... I have maybe an inch of snow in my yard, and I am on regular streets but the USPS says my front door or drive way is inaccessible so they could not deliver. I CALL IT LAZY! I dropped off my package in the bin the 3rd week of April 2024. I checked the status today and the item has not been "received" I called and received no answer. I called usps and they said they would investigate. Clearly if the building has cameras, we can pull up the time and date I walked into the lobby and deposited my item. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. This is the worst post office location I have ever been to. I keep trying to give it the benefit of the doubt and each time I am madder than the last. Today was the last. I will drive out of my way if necessary. Any time I have mailed ANYTHING from this location, there is ALWAYS some type of unexplainable issue. The latest being a package that was mailed on March 6th at 1:58pm that was supposed to arrive at it's destination (estimated) by March 11th. As of 3/12, the package was showing that it was still at this location that I mailed it from on the 6th! Customer service was no help as they created a service request and had the post office call me. Problem was....it was the post office of where the package was to be delivered to so they had no information, as the request should have been created for the post office that the package was mailed from. Fast forward, I go back to this location as instructed by another painful phone call to USPS customer service, because my package is somehow "miraculously" now in transit and out for delivery and I can request a refund since I paid for a service that was not provided in the time frame I was given. The line is very long (as usual) and there are only 2 clerks. I see one man working behind a door/window, helping a woman. I'm not trying to jump the line or anything, I just want to ask the question....who do I need to speak to or what to do to request a refund etc...He tells me I have to get in the line with everyone else. Ok, so I stand in line for 20 minutes or so (mind you, he is not helping customers behind this door/window). When I finally get to the point where I am the next in line, HE says "next customer". I go to the door/window and ask again, what I need to do to request a refund. He tells me that I have to go online because of the type of service I have. After I tell him about the calls to customer service etc, I said to him...you couldn't have told me this when I asked you before instead of telling me I had to get in line??? I came in to pick up my mail because they couldn't get their sh** straight. I moved to my new place in Nov. of 2019 and my lock still isn't replaced yet. I was told there's one guy doing this job and it was going to take 2-8 weeks. Well it's 2020 I'm still waiting. I stood in line for 15 minutes today and then some because some lady cut in line. Yeah she pissed of a lot the other customers in line. While I was standing in line, the other worthless individual announced that the pick up line is by the wall. First I didn't mind when it was three people waiting at the wall before it was my turn to come to front. By the time I got up to the clerk, he told me the pickup line was by the wall. What kind of crazy sh** is that?!!! There were people wrapped around the wall. You all didn't bother announcing this crap when the main line was full of people? GTFO! The person handling the passport is horribly rude. Her name is Kathy. Wow ove never met someone as rude as her. She hates when people ask her questions, she will yelled at you, or ignored your question. I was a witness of a situation with a person that got there and had a question about passport she told him to shut up that she was talking and to let her finish when she finished talking she turned around and ignored him obviously he got upset and she kicked him out of the post office. Guy was not happy and I believe called the manager and he showed up. Hopefully they did something. While I was there I went in for my passport appointment with my children and she was so rude to me. She saw me sit down next to my kids and hubby and asked if I was with them I said yes and she didn't like I responded to her and told me not to do that again and I got upset and said u are the one yelling at people here and upset you need to chill. The manager at this location needs to do something with that lady. Seems like she is working for free there, hates everyone. read more

This post office has missed four deliveries to my house this month. A few nights I checked my mail at 9pm and still not there. In the morning when I leave for work, there it is. Right now my packages are going through this post office without getting scanned at all. About half get scanned and when they do they are taking 3 days to a week just to leave the post office. I have packages that havnt had a single scan in 2 weeks. Packages that only have delivery scan. This is actually crazy. regarding passport services, the website will take you through the appointment-making process but at the very end will tell you that the appointment is not available. this happens for every appointment time offered. the website says they take walk-ins but they deny taking walk-ins at the physical location. this is a federal public service, it should not be this difficult and unorganized. read more

If you're wondering why the USPS doesn't get more funding, or why they are forever remembered as a joke on Seinfeld, just try getting answers from your local post office any time something goes wrong. If someone there can be bothered to pick up the phone at all, you're in luck, but they'll just give you some fluff and you'll never hear from them again. My carrier missed a scheduled pickup and I spent the afternoon trying to get a hold of this place. I was told confirmation numbers are essentially useless. On multiple occasions, I have seen my carrier have to do extra loops around the neighborhood or pull over and run down to my house to get my package. They don't check scheduled pickups, period. Let's not even get into how they hold on to packages for days before they can be bothered to put them on a truck for delivery. read more

The worst service from any post office I've ever been to. I walk in with a larger sized package in one hand and a baby in my other arm and a 2 year old walking next to me. I stand in line for at least 4 minutes before one of the employees tells me he cannot serve me at the counter until I put a mask on (which I did not have). Today is March 4, 2022 and per the USPS website and the State of Virginia masks are no longer required. In addition to that, I was following "social distancing guidelines" and there was a thick layer of plexiglass between the masked employee and customers. I was not able to get my package sent and I will be corresponding with management for their horrible customer service. Just your everyday Post Office! Nothing above or beyond to mention about this place. The Building, itself, is ok and has kept itself up over the years. Employees leave something to be desired, but I never really interact with them. I have everything done before I walk inside. I drop my mail off and leave. It's that simple. Usps delivers social security checks. Usually on time. Mine was to arrive in time for the February 12 2020 pmt date. I called usps February 121a as it wasnt delivered until Saturday February 15 2020 at 400pm. Banks closed until Tuesday Feb 18 2020. Found out nobody in this post office received their social security check on February 12th I have to pay$100 when i pay myrent after 15th of month. I asked usps why they weren't delivered. Since August we've had nothing but problems to getting mail and packages delivered. My mail carrier has been straight lazy. He's delivered my packages to mailboxes for nonexistent houses, "lost" things like birthday cards and delivered them over a month later, doesn't pick up outgoing mail regularly, and now has marked packages as undeliverable because it's the wrong address when it actually was correct just to end his day early. When I call to complain I just get a sorry we'll talk to him. The management really needs to get more involved and quit acting as though there's no problem read more

Don't mail your packages from this Post office. They randomly scan packages and take forever to sort and relay packages to the next post office in-route. I've had my packages sit at this post office for up to two weeks. My most current package sat for 4 days. Each subsequent relay office took no longer than a day to receive and transfer to the next office. Very slow and LAZY. Don't understand how this is allowed or tolerated. read more

Like other comments I've read, if I can give this post office a negative star I would. I sent a letter to my daughter TWO DAY SHIPPING from California. It never got there in two days because the letter was sent to the wrong distribution center first, then to the wrong post office. I tracked the letter and it was delivered on day THREE, but to THE WRONG ADDRESS. Must have been put in the wrong mail box, because the letter wasn't there. Only god knows where the letter is now. So I received a tracking confirmation saying my package was delivered to my mailbox. I go to my mailbox and there's no package. I called the USPS manager about my situation and the manager is trying to tell me because his "GPS system" says it was delivered to my mailbox, then it was. Next step was, I called consumer affairs & they stated they will contact the manager at the branch. I'm assuming they contacted him because the manager called me back. He told me that he apologizes because they have new carriers and "it's possible" that they put my package in the wrong mailbox....hmmm imagine that? Expected a package on July 28, 2015, carrier left a "Delivery Notice Receipt" indicating at the Rental Office. Went to the rental office, no package. I was also told that I was the third person whom came to the office looking for their package. I went to the Post Office spoke w/a supervisor who indicated she didn't know where the package was. Tueday morning called the PO spoke with Raza, supervisor who said she questioned the carrier, who claims he left the package at the office. Raza also indicated that they had the carrier looking for the packages and in the next two-three hours the carrier will leave the post office and go to the office to ask for the whereabouts of the package. Sounds like someone may be moonlighting as a thief? Needless to say it is now Tuesday July 28, 2015, 10:15am and the package is still MIA. The USPS is not a source of reliable service at all. Okay I just submitted a complaint with the USPS Inspector (877.876.2455)...I'll be back once the investigation is over. read more

Passport application must be hard work. I made my appointment for 9AM. I mistakenly got in the main line to ask about where to go for passport appointments as I walked to the side of the building and those doors where not for passport work. Once I sorted it out, I walked in the passport door at 9:02AM. The lady did not come out until 9:15AM. She asked if anyone had appointments, I said I do. For 9AM and by mistake was on the line outside and still came here reasonably on time but there was no one to talk to until now. I apologized. She was a total jerk (clerk 04). She said, well, you are late, so you are gonna have to sit there. Funny thing is no one else there had appointments and they knew I wasn't lying as I chatted with some of them and when she requested people with numbers to come, no one did, so she had to take care of me. As the process went thru she kept being a jerk "yeah, yeah, everyone always get in the wrong line when they are late, I was here at 9AM, and you were not sitting there, look at all this people with no appointment, what are they thinking!?, (signs outside clearly say passport walk ins are welcome), this clearly is the passport room, how can you miss it, and on and on. I just took the belittling as I took the day off for this, I don't have the time to play jerk-along. I came ready, even my checks for payment were made. Took her like 5mins or less as she mostly just reviewed my stuff and got me to sign. Either the job is hard and makes them bitter or they need to train their personal on being courteous to customers. This is the worst post office ever called at 130 to inform them about a email I received saying package was delivered in that it was in lockbox out front of my house. Check mailbox there was no key spoke with someone who said give them a few minutes they would call me back to make sure the situation was corrected of course no call back so I called them spoke with erica who was like hold on waited 30 minutes so I hung up called back was told supervisor was outside then only to wait 30 more minutes to be told there is nothing they can do but there the one who put the key in the wrong mailbox which anyone can now have my package wow . IMHO, this is a fantastic post office. All the clerks seem knowledgeable, and the wait is a little better (less time) than it is in other post offices that I've been to. What I really love is that they photograph your mail and email that info to you so that you know what is in your post office box before going there. If you just have a bunch of ads and catalogs, then you don't need to go. If it's the printout from your 403b, you go to pick it up. You also can pick up packages from a package concierge outside and avoid the line. Stamps can be purchased from machines, and this office is open until 6 pm (how considerate of the customers!). Very clean Post Office. I have a P.O. Box here & haven't experienced any complications thus far. There's one worker though that seems to have quite the attitude.
