From the time we pulled into the parking lot there was someone to guide us with not only information but with a great attitude and taking the time to tell us where to go with a friendly attitude. We pulled up to the TV recycle center and again someone to guide us with a friendly attitude. We experienced fast and efficient service with the offloading of the very large 75" LCD TV. Thanking us and telling us to have a wonderful day. The place was the cleanest center we have ever seen. Please recognize these very dedicated employees for a job well done! I was a Store Manager for a fortune 50 company with over 300 employees. I wish we could have hired employees like yours. Whatever you are doing with the hiring and training of your associates please keep up the great work. Thank you!

Not all tax paying members of the county can utilize the dump they pay for unless your name & address is on certain "acceptable documentation." Unfortunately, the acceptable documentation is not always available for residents of PWC. If you call or email your concerns, you will get an admin person on the phone. If you want to share your concerns with upper management, good luck because they don't take calls from us. Cops are there quite a bit now because PWC residents are upset with these terrible new rules and regulations. Nothing really can be done unless our county leadership steps in. Hopefully people don't start dumping their trash on our beautiful roadsides and it ends up in the dump anyways... The Officers' Club is extremely nice, especially for those who are luckily enough to get inside. The dining hall in the club had such a beautiful view of the lake. The location of Ft. Belvoir is great seeing that it is close to Washington, without being in D.C. and all of the officers' houses here are beautiful (Lt Col, Col, BG, MG, LTG, Gen). The only issue with this base is that it is extremely easy to get lost as they close the 2nd gate in the afternoon and only the main gate is open and it is hard to get back there as all the streets loop around in circles. When visiting this base, be extremely cautious of your speed, as you will be yelled at by the MP's for driving without your headlights during the day, or for even going 1 mile over the speed limit. These MP's love showing off their authority, regardless of your rank, so watch it. [Review #473] (58th Review of 2017)

We have a brand new exchange, they just finished building a brand new school, one of the top 3 largest commissaries in all of the military is being built and almost ready to open. The hospital on base is also Brand new with amazing teams of doctors. Housing on base offers very spacious homes. They look newer and are pretty nice. Almost every house on base comes with a garage and fenced in yard. The location of the base is only about 20 minutes from DC. It really allows someone to live in a rural area but 20 minutes down the road experience the city life. My only complaint about this area is the traffic. Remember we live in northern Virginia/DC area therefore the traffic can be unpredictable and crazy at times.
