    I have to agree with the previous reviews. Although the lines were short and getting in and out seemed with ease the employees are so rude. Even on a Friday. C'mon you have tomorrow off. Put a smile on. Don't question your customers. Both customer service reps while it was there was rude. Sad. If you don't like your job. Quit. Please.

    I had no line. I said, I had no line at the post office. Was it a fluke? Not sure, but I'm willing to take my chances on going back to find out.

    I love this post office.  Ralph is always so kind and friendly and helpful.

    Okay, people always complain about the post office, but THIS post office is the exception. I actually will go out of my way to Windermere Post Office because the customer service is EXCELLENT. Other post offices make customers feel more of a nuisance, but at Windermere, customer service is in their mission statement. Let me give a few examples of the excellence found at Windermere. First, when my son was living outside the USA for nearly 8 years and many places, the staff was always helpful to make sure I had the correct forms to get items I was sending, completed properly so he would receive them. Sounds easy, but trust me, it can be confusing. Next, on many, many occasions, I have seen the staff go out of their way to help people that are physically challenged, providing assistance with packages and understanding the automated mail system in the lobby. Honestly, I wanted to cry on one occasion when I saw a staff member helping a 'seasoned' lady with a walker, trying to carry a stack of packages into the post office lobby. I was waiting in line and watched the employee jump into action very quickly. I wondered what commotion might be going on and then I saw the woman, probably 90 years old, lugging all the packages and trying to balance them on her walker. The employee took the packages and set them on the counter and helped her in the door, and set her up in the line of customers. I was next to be served, and when I got to the counter I asked if the man would allow her to go in my place. He was so kind and helpful already, and so gentle and genuine when he took her packages and helped her with her postage. Maybe it's the holiday spirit that got me choked up, but I honestly believe this employee really cared about the woman and wanted to help. This office is also always extremely CLEAN and ORGANIZED. There never seems to be clutter or trash that customers leave behind. My one pet-peeve of any place I go is the parking lot. If it's a mess of trash, bottles, wrappers, etc, I will not go inside. So, for parking availability and CLEANLINESS Windermere get a perfect score! Next, because the staff really seems to work as a team, the environment as a customer, even when there is a long line, is pleasant. Customers will actually strike up conversations with each other because the atmosphere is calm at Windermere. Now, my favorite part! When you get to the counter to be served, the staff will ACTUALLY greet you and look at you!!!!!! And when you leave, there will be genuine kind words like 'Have a nice day,' or 'Happy Holidays!' Once, I actually was sending mail on my birthday and since I had 'see id' on my credit card, the kind lady working said, 'well, happy birthday to you!' I know, that sounds crazy, but true. Many times, probably most of the time, postal workers are overwhelmed with work; yet, at this location, they don't let it show to the customer. They all deserve accolades for doing such great work with a public that can sometimes be very unhappy. There's just something about each person on this team has a way to change a person's day for the better. Ralph is my favorite because he is funny and has a funny quick-wit! I can always count on a laugh when he's at the counter. I did ask one employee why this place is just SO MUCH BETTER than my own zip code office and that person said they have a great leader in their Post Master for their office. The employee continued saying something to the extent of it being wonderful to work when you have a great boss. OH! This is one of the offices that had a choice to extend mailing hours before the holidays. This office stayed OPEN later to SERVE the public, unlike my zip code which, though much busier, chose to close early. I APPRECIATED THAT GREATLY!!! And everything I sent actually made it either EARLY or on time. KUDOS to all of you at Windermere Post Office! Thanks for making sending mail a nice experience!

    This post office used to be very good but now has horrific service; frequent wrong mail delivery and many lost or damaged deliveries.

    I have being using this post office for almost two years. There is never a long wait and the employees are super helpful and friendly.

    I'm not one to normally post negative comments, but this experience this morning was absolutely…read moremind-blowing. You all might want to consider this as a warning. I am the CMO for a global company. I stopped in here to send a package overnight (today is Friday 3/17) for arrival on Monday (3/30) morning delivery. Precursor - Prior to that I had asked (and graciously paid for) notary services of the documents. No problem. Services rendered, services paid for. Now we get to the shipping rates. The woman pulls up rates starting at $54 dollars for April 4th delivery and spanning $272 dollars for Monday delivery by 10am. Yes, you read that right. $272 dollars for an envelope. For Monday delivery, by 10am. That's the cost of shipping a small refrigerator freight on a truck. Obviously I was shocked. Asked her how that was possible. Her response was "yeah...you have to talk to the owner Harry, he controls the prices." Well Harry...here's your chance to retort. How is it possible in any world to send an envelope weighing a quarter of a pound...overnight to Alabama...an hour and 27 minute flight away from Ocoee....and have it cost $272 dollars? By the way, the girl behind the counter tried to validate this at first with a response that was "well that's the price of shipping these days". For what? A bison to Guam via boat? C'mon. For reference, Afterwards I called Patricia over at FedEx on West Colonial, who I also do business with. I gave her the contents, the weight, the address and the shipping expectations of delivery on Monday by 10am. Her rate via FedEx? $53 dollars. FedEx...a global shipper...$53.00 for Monday morning delivery by 10am. Harry's Mail Center...$272 dollars for Monday by 3pm. In the end I took it to the post office on Hiawassee. Express Mail with tracking. Arrival Monday by 3pm. Cost? $11.28 I work in an industry where media, print and costs are marked up...usually about 11% to make profit on running a business. If you do that math...thats a 413% markup. And some bullshit. You're flagged Harry. Not sure what kind of operation you think you're running, but it will be reported.

    Missed the delivery of a package that had to be signed for and instead of trying me again they sent…read moreit here. I went in as soon as I got the note (it was custom jewelry made from my mothers jewelry, as such it was irreplaceable, so I did not want it sitting in a random warehouse) There was one person in front of me being seen to and 2 people working (but only one working with that person). I still waited in line for 15+ min. When they did get to me they initially couldn't find my package. Nerve wracking. Very stressful. When I said something to the tune of "what do you mean you can't find it" clearly a little panicked, then she got the other person involved and she found it immediately...was there really a need to put me though that? So, while I did not use them of my own will, I don't think they would be my first choice as a shipper should i need one in the future.
