How do you rate a post office? Its tough because the atmosphere, experience and situations are…read moredifferent each time you walk in ... especially with this post office. This is my neighborhood post office and when I come here, I never know what I'm walking in to. As to be expected, there is sometimes a line out the door and there might be two workers on duty and the "desks" in the main room. Sometimes you walk in and there are only a couple of people in line and there are three people working at the "desks." Its very inconsistent, but alas, its the post office. What does seem to be consistent however, is the lack of polite human interaction at these desks. I've tried approaching with a smile, I've tried approaching with a serious face, I've tried it all and each time I'm greeted with the notion that I'm somehow bothering the folks at the "desks" with my postage needs. I want to bow and apologize for my presence when I leave. Its that weird. Sometimes they have a manager in the main room when there is a large line to help with questions, etc. This is also a hit or miss experience. Depending on who the manager is that day, you may be helped by this person or not. One day I just needed a non-flat rate box and the manager sent me to stand in another line in the lobby. He proceeded to help everyone else in line. I just needed a box! Geeeeeeesh. So, with the main room where the transactions with humans take place, take a deep breath and hope for the best. Now, if you happen to have an issue that requires you talk to the help window in the lobby (no transactions here ... only at the machine next to the window), you will most likely have a very slow but a better experience. I've had to go to this window for boxes, missing mail and other issues and the two ladies to work this window are fantastic. You will wait here as they are dealing with bigger issues rather than what is happening in the main room, but at least they are helpful and polite. I've also had a great experience renewing my passport with the lady in that office. She was extremely patient with me and helpful when I didn't have all of my information. So, its a mixed review here. My advice is, if you can, just do most of your mailing online ... (if not in a rush) ... you can order boxes, print postage, schedule a pick up, etc. You also have the option to purchase postage at the big machine in the front lobby. It will save you time and stress.

I have been calling my relatives for 3 weeks after to see if they received mail from me. The mail never arrived at their homes in New Jersey. Having the information of the 5 gift cards I started calling for information on status of these cards to find out 4 of the cards have been used for local purchased around this area in Orlando some purchases were made at the Wawa near the Post office location. I plan on filing a police report on Monday and follow up for the theft of Mail with the government. I am sure it is not only me that has had this issue at this location.

This business is a lifesaver. Literally they ship many packages to Venezuela and I see they help…read morepeople pack and ship so many boxes. As for me they do copies, ship my packages and are always supporting me with whatever I have going on. Their "How can I help you?" is very genuine. I want to send out this #ThankYouThursday to the owner and his lovely co-worker for their friendly assistance. An example last year when I was going to a party and needed some packing tape to wrap a gag gift. I stopped on the way to the event and bought some tape. It was fun having someone to laugh along with as I wrapped my gift on their counter. I send my printing to their email address with instruction for black and white or color and they have it waiting. Efficient and friendly what more do you need?

I dropped of a dozen packages to this company for both USPS and UPS, which they said they take. But…read moreevery single one of my UPS packages have now disappeared. They say that labels were created but not received by carrier yet. I called them about it and they didn't understand English and hung up on me, so I went in to the building to ask them about it and all he could say was that UPS picks up every day. Now I have thousands of dollars of products that I have to refund customers because this company didn't manage to give them to UPS, or didn't make sure they scanned them in as received if they did pick up. No one seems to be able to help me because the labels all say they were never received. I will NEVER trust these scammers with my business again. I don't know what happened to my packages but the loss has been catastrophic to my business in these troubling times.
