This morning i came in to renew my passport for corrections cause they're close to where I live and my days off is Sunday- Monday they were closed on memorial day. I usually handle my business in Yucca Valley, the last time jerk red head white old lady work there now it's a early middle age black lady wearing frames gave me bad customer service attitude demeanor. I told my situation kindly as possible but she just didn't care how handle in a nice professional manner. Told me I did the wrong packet the said things I didn't understand making me feel like I'm retarded so I just took it like a champ and told her I'll handle it at home I was feed up with with her attitude. Strange the customer she helped before me was white middle age her demeanor was sooo happy spirited so makes me wonder is she racist??? Towards a certain ethnicity??? Anyways I'm taking my business to Yucca Valley handle my passport there cause they're okay with customer service. I get mail regularly but ever week or so I receive someone else's mail and when I ask the Post Office to remove it it takes them months before they remove it. Address and names dont match but it ends up in my mailbox. Then today I get a slip in the mail saying to pick up package because they could tell which apt was mine. Very new to the area and made my first Yelp check in to this US Post Office location. So far I've been greeted by the nicest of people! I had to send off 2 Flat rate boxes out. The lady that helped me politely told me that one of my small flat rate boxes was jam packed, and unfortunately couldn't accept it. She was VERY FAST to trouble shoot for me, and found me a larger flat rate, padded envelope that was only 20 cents more than the small flat rate box. She suggested to go with her recommendation so I didn't have to pay for tape..again! Thank you for helping me not only recommending me on something that was self adhesive, but in a timely fashion. We didn't even hold up the line and I was done with my transaction in less than 5 minutes. read more

Had a package stolen off my porch while I was home nonetheless.... there were 2 cars parked in my drive way delivery driver never rang my door bell or knocked... when I went down to the post office to find out where my package was there was a lady helping me with no empathy at all and said "we're not required to knock... just leave it on the porch, Amazon will replace it though no big deal" well it is a big deal I was home, if the driver took 2 seconds and knocked I would've picked up my package and some low life wouldn't have stolen it.... read more

I guess I'm not sure how post offices work, but my package was "disposed of" and I am so upset. I was tracking a package and it says that they tried to deliver it twice. I am home all day with my babies. I waited, knowing I was expecting a package. It never came. I called the post office to ask what was going on. First, I was told there was no such tracking number. Yes there is, I'm looking right at it. Then I was put on hold. The lady (Lori, I believe) said the company didn't want lightweight parcel back so ordered for it to be disposed of. What? You can just dispose of someone's mail?? She asked me to confirm my address, I did. She asked me if I get mail delivered there regularly. Yes. Why wouldn't I? She said "you're going to have to call the company and explain to them what happened and ask them to ship your items again and if they have an issue with that, they can contact us here." Really? There is nothing you can do about it? She told me no and that it wasn't my "regular mail carrier". So what does that mean? My things were just trashed (or whatever happenes in this situation). I called the company and asked them to replace my items. I was off the phone in 5 minutes, shipping refunded, with all my items overnighted. Everything arrived and was placed in my mailbox, so I'm really curious why it was so difficult to place them there the first time. I am so disappointed about the lack of help from the post office, but glad my items were replaced by a company that knows about good customer service. read more

I don't generally like the post office but...we were in town visiting my son and left some items at home (2400 miles away). I had someone overnight them to me but the post office at home said the address didn't exist. Come to find out, mail can't be delivered to a vacation rental so that was the problem. I had them ship it anyway and said I would just see if I could pick it at the post office. The man there not only put my packages on hold for me to pick up but also explained exactly how to have mail delivered in the future so this never happens again. I can also use the same service to send my sons mail without him having to get a P.O. Box. Super nice and super helpful!! read more
