I notified Postal Center USA of the problem and Mr. Beberman filed a claim with the shipping company. Three weeks later, the shipping company denied the claim. Mr. Beberman stepped up to the plate and reimbursed me for the contents that were missing as well as the shipping cost. Mr. Beberman went above and beyond the call of duty. He did not have to do that, since it was not his fault that the package was damaged. I'm greatly appreciative of his consideration and highly recommend doing business with Postal Center USA.

On my visit this weekend the clerk and I commiserated about the fact that the African American Heritage stamps I'd planned to buy still hadn't been delivered to Brockton after more than a third of the month. She was awesome--funny yet professional. Love her. Instead, she talked me into picking up some really cool looking Lunar New Year stamps. I did so, slapping them on my Seattle-bound notes. I still want those other stamps, though, so I vowed to pick up the stamps I'd originally sought out somewhere else.

All I do is drop them off like I've been doing for the past 5 years. I have a small business here in Randolph. They won't give you a receipt it was dropped off which makes me very nervous as there are some shady people hanging out in this place. And..EVERY SINGLE time I have sent a package to them I get a note from Pirate Ship It was measured wrong and it weighed more than what I paid for. They were taking about $5.00-$15.00 out daily. I ship packages every single day between UPS and USPS I never EVER have to pay extra from the USPS only this store! I called Pirate ship and they refunded every single dime this store took from me. Be careful if you are doing your own shipping and leaving it there. I think it's pretty shady they're the only ones that say my packages are more than what I paid for and the boxes are not measured correctly. I have a USPS postal scale. Considerations also given to the fact that I happened to run this errand on this day of December, the very deadline to send parcels (so I've heard while in line). If the website doesn't take THREE weeks to ship out stamps, I wouldn't be here. If there wasn't a pandemic, I would have gone home and come back another day (instead of heading out more than I need to). And I specifically by-pass my own town's P.O. knowing it is slow, only to come here to find the line was equally long. Well at least there is a tad more room at this branch for people to swing around while social distancing. More than 30 minutes later (and now at closing time), I got my turn. What else, they ran out of international stamps, AND the loose stamps that could add up to the same postage. The saving grace is that the gentleman didn't just stand and stare at me, but instead found solutions proactively. I ended up having to overpay a bit for each stamp (and I ordered 40+), but a few dollars is not a big loss compared to having to make another trip for another 30-min line. Next year, I'll make a reminder to order stamps before Thanksgiving.

They just recently cut back on staff though, so you're more than likely going to be in a huge line if you go during their closing hour on busy days. The will only have one person working the front. The staff is very informed all aspects of customs forms, what needs to be signed, paypal discounts, ebay, just dropping off prepaid packages and such. It's a very small post office for a very small town. I ship the same sized box, one staff member always will ship it internationally for me, and the other one always won't. It's the way they measure the box, it's rectangular and won't fit the dimension max for girth going to say... Australia, but if you flip the box around and measure it the OTHER way then it will. So one worker understands this problem and will measure it the way that makes it work and bla bla bla the other doesn't. i DIGRESS THIS POST OFFICE IS A-OK.

I printed the label and arrived one minute late and they turned me away even though it was a quick one second drop off and the building was still open. Rude customer service, I would not recommend if you are requiring a shipment needing more assistance.
