The parking lot set up is awful, especially since no one in Suffolk seems to know how to drive or park in parking lots. Now counter employees- one lady is very nice. The two old men however - Andy and I forgot the other old man's name - let's just say his voice and personality is like that of Bert from Sesame Street - these two old men are creeps - Andy especially. Very, very rude. Each time I been in there and got stuck with him, he would make rude jokes about my business name, one day when I finally had enough of it, I smiled and corrected him for this - explaining the pronunciation of it correctly and why it has that name. His response was "oh i know i was only joking" - the other old man was helping him this particular day and he gave me a dirty look. I had 20 packages going out that day, all over the nation - every single package arrived to the recipients badly damaged - considering they went to 20 different locations in the USA - I know exactly where it started - and I'm certain it was these two old men who done it. Post Master took a report, but I refused to go back there - been going to the Selden Post Office - never a problem and all employees are very nice. Fast forward three years - I didn't have time to go to the post office, placed two small packages inside my mailbox for pick up - post office being, of course Farmingville - the packages were two small bubble mailers, light weight, well wrapped, under 2 ounces each and shipped via ground advantage. Two weeks after shipping, still haven't arrived to their destinations (two different states) - I get an email from my shipping service stating the USPS - - my local post office repackaged both packages in flat rate envelopes and up charged me $8 each because that also changes shipping class to priority...I call - Post Master isn't available and never called back. Two days go by, both recipients finally received items - inside these flat rates is the original bubble mailers - which appeared to have been cut open with scissors, items shipped inside were not inside, now my clients are fighting the USPS on their end as well, I finally speak directly to someone from the Farmingville post office about the situation, who said the packages were likely damaged so they repackaged them - here's the thing - besides the fact that one of of their employees cut open the packages, even if they were legit damaged- that doesn't give them the right to up charge me for their negligence, actually it means they owe me money - but now they owe me money and they also owe my clients the full value of the items they stole. Learned my lesson - will only ship packages with Selden Post Office. The only reason I gave two stars instead of just one is because my mail carriers who deliver are usually very nice.

Would have easily paid 1 or 2 for the service ok fine. Went back home printed the label and came back. Only to be Scolded by the "gentlemen" from behind the counter that I wasnt allowed to tape my box in the store...had to go outside in 30 degree weather to complete the taping. Very very rude...it's a shipping store I didn't realize I wasn't allowed to put a little extra tape on my box IN THE SHIPPING STORE THAT SELLS THE TAPE AND BOXES. Would never come back...go to Holbrook they are rated much higher for a reason I guess.

The "nice" lady behind the counter did something today I never thought was possible…read more I missed my home delivery as I was not home and the package required a signature. I called and FedEx said I could pick up the package after 5:00 PM. I drove 45 minutes and got there at 6:00. The lady said the truck is still out, and will be out until 8:00, and they close at 7:00. This is before she even looked at my tracking number. Apparently she KNEW the truck was not back. Her job was to dispose of the annoying customer standing in front of her, nothing more, nothing less. This "nice" Fedex counter lady did something I didn't think was possible. She made me WISH I was at the DMV instead. Brutal as the DMV can be, FedEx is worse.

I've got about 16 case numbers and nothing gets done about anything. This morning two very heavy boxes were left on the front steps that I could not get inside. I had to call a friend who came by during their lunch hour to bring them to my side door so that I could get them inside. I don't understand what's going on with FedEx. Unless I contact them each time I have a delivery coming, the packages get left at the front. They even told me to set it up in my Delivery which I've done already years ago, and somebody at FedEx, who I spoke to through Twitter noted my account that all packages should always be delivered to the side door because of my disability. The drivers just don't care about their customers or maybe FedEx really isn't doing anything about it and just giving me case number of the case number. It doesn't get done... and each time I bring it to their attention they say someone's going to call, then they give me a case number and nobody calls and nothing gets done. Very disappointed in FedEx. UPS always brings everything to the side door after asking them one time. Going forward, I will not be sending packages via FedEx, I have no control of what comes in when I order online, but I will no longer be using or supporting FedEx to ship. I will be using UPS. I know my office has used them to ship prior to me going in. The guys were great. They were patient with me. This had been my first there for personal use. I forgot to print my shipping labels lol. They guy who helped me, was super sweet and patient. He told me to take my time, as I went through my phone to find everybody's name and address. I shipped I think five or six small packages at about 5/6 dollars each. Nothing crazy. Still a Great Business. I will be using them for further shipments.

I was answered by a friendly gentleman who said yes, he was a notary and was, in fact, PRESENT. I shared my tale of woe about the offending UPS Stores and he mentioned that not only is he a notary but he's had his kids become notaries as well so there would be someone available as often as possible.
