    Passport renewals are only accomplished online/mail. https://www.usps.com/international/passports.htm#renew The USPS only handles new passport applications.

    If you're like me, you've probably caught the traveling bug now or at some point in your life OR rather maybe you like to have an extra form of identification on hand for employment purposes OR are paranoid that those domestic traveling laws in California are going to be changing soon (because I keep seeing posts/articles/blogs on this...but TBH I'm confused on when this taking place)...no matter what's your reason, getting one's PASSPORT more often than not, is a thing that's done! & YES - you can get that done here but there's some important things you SHOULD know: 1) GET HERE EARLY. Like before the Passport Office place opens because trust, there will be a line. You may think that coming right when they open will be enough, but it's better to be safe than sorry. 2) FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE. Once they do open, one of their employees will bring out a clipboard that you can put your names onto. Once this is list is full they will not take anyone else for that day. The struggle is quite real. 3) BRING YOUR CHECKBOOK (but you can purchase money-orders). It's just easier if you have this with you so that you won't have to get in another line, but it's up to your own personal preference or if you have checks on-hand. 4) MAKE A PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR IDENTIFICATION CARD. Not sure if minors need this, but this was my first time getting my passport as an adult and the employee asked me if I had a copy of my California ID...which I didn't. They can make a copy for you, but this is at an additional charge of 50cents. So if you don't have a photocopier, bring coins or an extra dollar so you can get this done. 5) YOU CAN GET YOUR PASSPORT PHOTOS DONE HERE. Not sure how much they cost, but it's possible if you don't have time to do it elsewhere. However, if you really want to save some money and you have a Costco Membership this can save you a good amount! I took mine at the Costco nearby and was able to get 4 photos for around $4.99. 6) As far as I'm concerned, the SL Main Post Office DOES NOT offer any appointments for passports, but other locations might but word around the street is those appointments especially for the offices opened on the weekends fill up fast. 7) Be Patient! - Group consensus? No one likes to wait. No one wants to come in super early, but the best thing you can do for yourself is to be patient and just wait your turn. Sometimes you'll be lucky enough to be able to talk to those around you and have good conversations! This was the case for me and my mom! However, I understand not feeling like it or just not wanting to ESP since it's early morning so bring in your headphones or some reading material or make sure your battery on your phone is on full-charge so you can browse the internet or play whatever games you have on there. FYI - they only have one employee handling these passport related matters, which is why it probably goes slow some days or faster on others. It also depends on what each individual or group needs or if they have any questions. This may also be why if you call....sadly no one picks up. tldr; GET HERE EARLY, BRING CHECKS & PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR STATE ID OR SOME COINS TO GET THAT DONE AND YOUR APPLICATION + PHOTOS.

    I rolled to the Main Post Office to submit my Passport application . The Passport Office is Supposed to Open at 9:00 AM. I Signed in at 9:00 AM . They did not Open till 9:47 AM . Is it any wonder why the Government is going broke?

    This rating is purely for their passport services. The person who processes them, Thu Lan, is extremely unfriendly and slow. I walked in for "walk-in" service to get my passport for my 18M old son. We had everything completed because we had already gone earlier in the day at another location. We only had to come back because we didn't know minors required both parents present. Thu Lan denied us and proceeded to tell us that if we wanted the walk in service that we had to be there before 9 am. I told her that no where on the website or customer service did it state that and that negated the entire point of having walk in service hours. She simply stated over and over again that was the policy. I told her that wasn't the policy, rather it was just "her policy." It's not walk in service to be there before 9 am when the passport services doesn't even begin till 9 am! Her coworker out in the main lobby even told me that she still had time and that she didn't want to. The lady advised me to call the supervisor and speak to someone. I am utterly embarrassed that she is a fellow government employee. This is why USPS is going out of business and government employees get a bad reputation. She is the utmost example of a lazy, rude, and an unfriendly employee. If you see this woman, be prepared because you will not receive any kind of service. She is so vain and knows that people walking in there have no other choice but to have her help them.

Guess this explains why you only get a paying customer as often as you get a good review for you here on Yelp, in your own words, "once in a while." The original review and response, for context: $4 to print a prepaid label. Terrible wifi so I couldn't even email them the label using their wifi. Why would I need to email the label to you in the first place unless you're not an official UPS Store? I didn't have to pay this fee at another location and a legit store would be able to scan the label from my phone to look it up and print it without charging me. Not coming back. ODFL called me to schedule a delivery window and they delivered exactly within that window. The driver even called on his way to make the delivery, I did not need to help with unloading. My $8,000 order was…read moredropped in the middle of my driveway, even after I explained to the driver that I had just been discharged from the hospital and could not manage it there. I asked if he could place the delivery in the backyard--he refused. I then asked if he could move it just ten steps to my garage, and again he refused, saying it was not part of his job. When I called ODF to escalate, the representative, Louis, blocked me from speaking with a manager and insisted that I simply sign for the delivery. The paperwork I received wasn't even for my order--it listed Tesla batteries. The driver, Jessie Jimez, told me if I didn't sign, he would take the delivery away. Not trusting that my order would be properly handled if removed, I reluctantly told him to leave it where it was. When I raised my voice in frustration, the driver informed me that his supervisor, Brandon, was listening in on the phone but would not allow me to speak to him directly. This lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer care is absolutely unacceptable. To make matters worse, as the driver walked away, I heard exactly what he called me under his breath. He may not have realized how well I hear, but it only confirmed the complete lack of respect and professionalism in this delivery. As a designer with over 25 years of experience, I have worked with many vendors and services, and I have never encountered this level of disregard. Going forward, I will be working with Elwell or another delivery service that values its reputation and treats clients with the respect they deserve.

    This FedEx location is not open to the Public!…read more This location doesn't handle packages or have Customer Service Personnel. After 9/11 This Location was a Secure Low Key FedEx Big Rig and Tractor Trailer Depot! ! I Mention this now. Because the Big Rig and Tractor Trailer Depot has been moved to an even more Secure Location in the Iron Triangle in Oakland. This location is now the FedEx Big Rig Repair Shop!! They Keep all the FedEx Big Rigs in the Bay Area on the Road. They also do all the Preventive Maintenance on all the Big Rigs . They keep my Whip Big Ken on the Road !! So I'm gone with the Wind Fabulous!!!

    Zero STARS... TRACKING NUMBER…read more286995696605 Poor customer service. Missing package. I Went to a FedEx location to ship a gift that needed to be there by Tuesday of this week. The FedEx clerk sold me their shipping and advise my package would be at the destination on Monday.   Today is Thursday going on Friday and my tracking number shows DELAYED with a new arrival date of ???? PENDING ?????. I called customer service and spoke with a FedEx agent who could barely speak the ENGLISH LANGUAGE.   I repeated myself 11 times before the agent understood that I knew how to read the FedEx app tracking information and that I was already getting TEXT MESSAGE updates on my phone.     I explained I needed NEW information and that I could read the tracking info on the application.  My package has not moved.  WHY?  The FedEx agent just kept reading the same tracking information to expecting a different outcome.  INSANITY !!!!! I asked for a supervisor.... I was put on hold and waited 1 Hour and 9 minutes before I was simply hung up on by the FEDEX AGENT. I sent 4 other packages with USPS AND 3 UPS.  All made it on time, as scheduled. No customer service or support!!!!
