I have reported him numerous times to his supervisor. He retaliates with he receives negative feedback. For example, I broke my leg and receive numerous packages. He purposely put my packages in the bottom locker when other lockers higher were available. He knew there was no way I could bend over to get them. I have had a PO box for years and if a package comes with my street address he sends it back and I only find out when the vendor sends me a receipt and credits my payment method. It's not like we live in a metropolis. He could easily accept the package for me. I find this behavior inexcusable. Our taxes are paying his salary! If you need other examples of his inept management of the Hamilton post office, I will be more than happy to comply. His predecessor, Debbie, was absolutely WONDERFUL and I miss her helpful demeanor and kindness to provide over-the-top service.

When you finally reach the window, you're treated like an unwelcome interruption rather than a valued patron paying for service. This kind of apathy and poor customer focus is precisely why the federal government should seriously consider consolidating and reforming its workforce--replacing disengaged employees with people who actually want the job and respect the taxpayers funding it. The U.S. Postal Service, in particular, falls far short of that standard right now. One has to question whether the Postmaster General is truly paying attention or simply asleep at the wheel while service continues to erode, especially at this location.

I called as soon as I had an issue regarding the item arriving when we were out of town. The store manager, Elle hand held my entire transaction.. from requesting the auction house to drop off my item to them early, to prioritizing my invoice and expediting the overall process. The solution I was given was to spray some WD40 in the lock and if that doesn't work, come into the post office and pay $35 to replace the lock and wait a week for new keys. I was told that even though it's their mailbox and they supplied the lock, it is not their responsibility when the device fails.

The parking lot is moderate size with a few parking spaces In the front and a few more in the back. There are two self service machines that you use to buy stamps, print labels, and more. There are never enough staff so there is always a line no matter the time of day. The hours of operation on weekdays are usually 9am to 6 pm which is great compare to usps in Maryland where they closed at 4:30 pm. I could feel the coziness when I entered the office, and everything looked in order. Soon I realized why the place is appealing and pleasant to visitors. Very professional, polite, and friendly staff are the backbone of every good memory you bring back with you after your job is accomplished. A gentleman who introduced himself when I asked his name as Anthony Brooks was handling all the visitors' jobs unilaterally. He was describing every single point a visitor may need to know before even they attempt to ask and was checking all documents and their contents with optimum precision and reminding them whatever needed to be added or changed. To provide a perfect job for every visitor, he had to go to the back part of their station and come back with the solution to satisfy the customers' requirements best. My job didn't take much time. However, I witnessed when he was handling other two customers' inquiries who had similar jobs ahead of me. I thought it was my commitment to let him and all dedicated individuals like him know that their devotion to their work and responsibilities are recognized. Let them know that their patience while handling customers with optimal care and respect and going above and beyond to make the jobs being carried as memorable pieces of art is getting noticed and admired. We all need to appreciate and recognize our community service providers in any positions they might serve the public. They are our community assets.
