    Walked into a freezing store and went to the carts inside. Just 4 carts and all of them were filthy…read moreand not working properly so I had to grab one of those little brown plastic baskets with the wheels and handle you pull. Those baskets were filthy as well. Is it too much to ask for you guys to clean up the carts? I went up to the register to pick up my 2 online orders that I placed the day before and received the email that they were ready for pick up. I showed the cashier the email I received stating my two orders were ready for pick up so he leaves the register and goes into a room comes out with a box. I don't know what's in the box so I have to take his scissors and open it and I don't see the stapler I ordered so I tell him it's missing and he's telling me the item was probably not in the store at the time and it will be delivered to my address instead and I said no, the email says it's ready for pick up, meanwhile, he walks away from me and he starts doing Amazon returns and I reiterated the fact that I had the email and I'm not coming back to the store and I doubt if it's coming to my house, now I have to wait for him to come back to me and I'm right by the exit doors where it's freezing cold, but this other man that works there I guess heard my conversation and he went into a different locker and brought me my item. I also had two purchases to make so now I have to wait for the first guy to finish the Amazon returns so he can ring me up and I see a cart in front of the store and I put all my items in there, a big box, a heavy stapler, a big box of Dunkin' Donuts coffee and other items. The man tells me I cannot take the cart out of the store and I said are you kidding me? I said I can't carry this all out. He didn't offer to help me carry it out, and I said to him what happens if I had a cart load full of things and he said you could probably pull your car up, but meanwhile, I'd have to leave my cart inside so anybody else could walk out with my stuff while I walk to my car. I just gathered it all up and struggled to get to my car. I'm done with that place. Hardly anybody working there, the cashier was wrong about my order not being there and refused to check into it and left me standing there to help other people when he should've been helping me , freezing cold store and you can't even use the cart to go to your car. The cart has to stay inside the store. So STAPLES, I hope you see this review. You need to get brand new carts and allow us to use them to take all our merchandise to our car because as of now you just lost my business. And what's with the no heat? Also too, your website is a major pain in the neck. You don't know if the items are coming to your house if the item is being delivered to the store if the item is already in the store very confusing. I'm done with that app too. STAPLES won't even get online shopping from me anymore either. It's too bad too because I used to like that store but it's gone downhill and they wonder why people want to shop online and don't go to Physical stores anymore especially when you can't even use a damn cart to take your purchases to your car. Oh, they also don't allow the little brown basket on wheels out of the store either.

    I have been having a surprising amount of trouble doing ordinary business with their firm. Their…read morestaff is rude, curt and inattentive. I spent 20 minutes waiting on "Danny" to confirm availability of a part listed on their website as available. I was largely ignored for twenty MINUTES (on chat) then told the part was "7000 days". (Yeah, the car I am looking for parts for, is 35 years old!) But their software lists it (an oil pan) as grade A and available. I really got the feeling it was too much trouble for him to hunt down. Followup calls for other parts and clarification - (I had No Idea what "7000 DAYS" meant...) not answer the phone, or hung up on me before I could even state my needs. Other attempted followup calls on phone to other numbers seems to lead to the same guy, and rather than talk with me, he hangs up on me with smart-assed quips. Attempts to use alternate numbers/alternate methods, leads all to the same guy? (maybe? or they just got clones on their sales lines?) All I wanted, was to be sure, that a part I really need for a rare car isnt just sitting one shelf down from wherever their flunky thought it should be but didnt bother to look. I mean, its not like he inspired me to confidence in this . Their Chat software seems to say they got 4 guys working, but I just get the same guy... bad luck? Plus, two different phone numbers to two different addresses and the same guy answers? If it wasn't BUSINESS I would NEVER bother them. But I expect better treatment as somebody trying to do BUSINESS with them. Now I am looking for someplace to leave an official complaint and maybe a poor rating on their customer service. They seem to have NO comments, onsite ratings or ACTUAL contact info that links to anything. I think they are a VERY poor risk to chance your money on, even if they ARE the business they say they are. Which I dont actually know, but their online inventory does not match what the people say they have! VERY poor service, VERY poor customer relations. A ONE HUNDRED PERCENT 1-star rating? Sorry, but I intend to go elsewhere for parts in the future. You should too.

    Called but got voicemail all morning..... last time I was in, the guy at the counter was talking on…read morethe phone and overheard him say something along the lines of "...the n*gg** that used to work here for me....." he also over charges for parts regularly. Dozens of times I go in after calling Deer Park for the Riverhead guy to give me a price yearly double until I say "Deer Park gave me this price..." he'll huff and puff and say "they do this all the time".
