Some of the other moving companies I contacted never returned my voicemail. We got my move scheduled a few weeks before it was to happen. This was very easy with me discussing the details with Pam as well as texting her photos of the rooms and larger items. There were some blips in the delivery of the Pod and I am so grateful that Pam was able to reschedule with such short notice. Our move was a bit more complex. Double D's had to meet us at a location in Camp Hill to pick up a truck full of furniture. This was brought to our Harrisburg home. And then this as well as everything in our house was loaded into a 16 foot pod. Part of the reason I picked double D's was because of their glowing reviews and their ability to load a POD very tight. They exceeded expectations and used every bit of the pod from floor to ceiling. (A 16 foot POD is for a house up to 1400 ft.². This of course doesn't include your basement, attic, and garage.) They did an amazing job! We had a few items that did not fit and we expected this because a 16" pod is not as big as you expect it to be. (No big deal because we will drive them at another date to our new location.) They then drove these items back to the Camp Hill address where we could store them. The price was very fair. I can't say enough good things about this group.

    Probably one of my worst experiences ever as a customer at any business I've ever been to…read more I brought a bike in to be fixed and was told that there were a few additional issues that they recommended be addressed as well.... Reluctantly, I agreed to let them take care of them (I don't know too much about bikes, so I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt). They told me that they would have to order a new shifter in (okay, not a problem). I called them up about a week later to check on the status of things and they said "well we should have the part in a few days and should be able to fix it right up." Two weeks later, I finally got the bike back after calling them back multiple times and being told "it'll just be a few more days" each time. In all, it took three weeks to install a new shifter, rear derailleur, and chain. They claimed that it was due to difficulty in getting parts, but regardless it would have been nice to have some sort of update from them at some point - the only two phone calls I got from them in that three weeks was 1 call the day I dropped it off so they could tell me something else was wrong and 1 call to tell me it was ready for pickup (after I called them that morning asking about the status of it, and they finally got back to me four hours later). In total, the bill was $225. Almost half of that was labor costs, as they charge a flat rate of $20 in labor costs per part that they install. The cherry on top was when I was leaving, the manager said "yep, now you can go break it again so we can fix it for ya again!" Really? Three weeks and $225 later, and you're going to make that joke? Sorry, but your priorities seem to lie with making money and not with serving your customers. I'll be taking my business elsewhere (heck, if it means saving $100 in labor costs, I'll just teach myself next time. I'll save time and money compared to what I went through). TLDR: brought a bike in to be fixed, and it took three weeks. $225 in total, almost half being labor costs. Management seems to prioritize money over customer service.

My client got ill where she needed to go to the hospital a week before settlement. Dawn rescued us when no other would. She traveled 1 hour and went to their home and explained all the deed documents to my client. She also found 2 witnesses that we needed to sign these documents! She notarized, emailed and shipped them right away! I called Dawn in the evening and the next day she just got it done! She was quick to respond. Very professional. She knew it was an urgent matter and took it by the horns and got the job done. We will be settling on time! She was amazing! I would highly recommend her to everyone who needs her services.     I am writing an updated review for a review I left this week. The manager after seeing my review…read morehas communicated very well with me to address my issues with items I purchased. Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order.
