I give this place a solid four stars. The four stars is because this is the only USPS I go to that's around my area and I've been going here since eBay days in high school. I'm writing a review today because Aurelia with her RBF gave me my package that required a signature, without having to see my physical California ID. Gave me attitude the whole time, questioning why I go around without my ID and whatnot LMAO but ultimately let my no-ID-bringing ass slide and gave me my package. Minus one star because at the end of the transaction, after having me sign for my package, she had the audacity to ask me to do a survey asking about courtesy and if the service I received was courteous LMAO!! It was not courteous, but I felt the need to give a green smiley face since yo girl gave me my package. Lines are always out the door. Usually 3 workers. Can get your passport photos taken here. Get free USPS boxes. Etc. Pricing is standard USPS. Will only be coming back here since it's the only USPS near me. Extremely Disappointed I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service from Elaine at this post office. I have scheduled pickups for two PO boxes, and every time I come in, the experience is unnecessarily difficult and unpleasant. Elaine is consistently rude and has repeatedly come at us yelling. She has also told us that "we're not her priority." As customers with scheduled PO box pickups, being spoken to this way is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. She has also slammed the door in my direction. On another occasion, while another customer was picking up their mail, she slammed the door and nearly caught his finger. He had to quickly pull his hand away to avoid getting it caught. She has also told us that if we ring the bell more than twice, she will intentionally wait longer before coming to open the door. That is completely unacceptable behavior toward customers who are simply trying to pick up their mail. We have asked multiple times to speak with the manager about these ongoing issues, but we are repeatedly told that the manager is on vacation. At this point, it is frustrating because we have not been given a reasonable opportunity to address our concerns with management. There is absolutely no reason to speak to customers this way or treat them disrespectfully. We should not have to feel uncomfortable or worry about being yelled at or having a door slammed on us during a simple mail pickup. This is the slowest USPS I've ever been to. I've been standing in line for over an hour, and there are only two employees working. The line barely moves, and the wait is completely unreasonable. I understand that staff work hard, but this location clearly needs more employees. People shouldn't have to spend over an hour just to mail a package. Very disappointing experience. First time going to this post office and I was looking for a drive up letter box. After circling the parking lot, looking for somewhere to park, I exit out and see the letter box sitting off to the side. I pull into the area where it was, and it had the nerve to be blocked off to where no mail could be placed in it. I find those boxes to be so convenient for a quick drop off, so I was bummed that I had to park and get out. As I'm walking to the building, there was a box on the outside, so I didn't have to go inside....point is....I didnt want to park at all for a quick drop off! read more

This office's appointment system is incredibly disrespectful of people's time. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM and it's now 1:30 PM, yet those with 11:30 AM appointments still haven't been called. Why require appointments if they aren't being honored? The low stars is due to the US Post Office staffing obviously way understaffed as I waited in a line for 45 minutes. People were in line at the entrance it was sooooo long. I am writing to express my significant dissatisfaction with the customer service I've received recently at your facility, Rancho Cucamonga particularly concerning mail pickup. While I don't typically write reviews, I feel it's important to address these ongoing issues. First, I want to commend Mary, The manager, who has been incredibly helpful and polite in assisting me via email and over the phone which se is aware of the rude staff. Our business mailbox was vandalized, requiring us to pick up our mail directly from the facility. The first time, I was directed to a specific line and received my mail without issues. However, during a second visit, a male employee at the front desk (of Asian descent) directed me to the regular line, citing short staffing, despite three representatives being available . After waiting approximately 8 minutes, when I presented my ID, he insisted that I needed a business card, claiming he had told me this previously. I clarified that I had successfully received mail with just my ID before, but he still refused to provide my mail. I then had to reach out to Mary, who was very proactive and helpful in resolving this. I visited again yesterday, August 26, 2025, after a five-day wait, as we typically receive mail daily. At approximately 12:20 PM, there was only one person at customer service Again same ASIAN guy and one person at mail pick-up. I opted for the regular line to avoid being redirected again. The same male employee directed me to the mail pick-up area, despite having sent me back to the regular line previously due to short staffing when more staff were present. His response, "Well, you should know better," was quite unhelpful and frustrating. At the mail pick-up window, another male employee (tall, dark-haired) abruptly asked for my address, seeming annoyed and inattentive. After I provided it, he quickly stated, "NOPE, you don't have mail!" This was highly unusual, as we receive mail, even advertising, almost every day. I explained the situation with our vandalized mailbox, and he simply responded, "you don't have mail; the box is fixed." When I mentioned checking yesterday and finding it still broken, his rude retort was, "well, today is today!" Our mailbox has been broken since August 8, 2025. We were told it would be fixed within five days, but it has been 20 days, and it remains unrepaired. While I understand that facilities can be short-staffed, the unprofessional and rude attitude displayed by some of your employees is unacceptable. This is the worst post office I have ever had to deal with. The lines are ridiculously long and the worst part of it all is that the workers are extremely rude and dismissive. They have lost my packages 2 times in a row now and when I go in they give me no answers and are unwilling to answer any questions about it. The 2 workers I had a horrible experience with were Jeremy and Evelyn. I kept asking questions as to what may have happened becuase this was an extremely important package and I expressed how important it was and his response was "it usually is". My package was misdelivered they kept giving me the run around and finally I got fed up and told them to give me the last location. They said they weren't able to do anything. The guy was very rude about it since there was a long line of people. At the end of the day they are getting paid whether the line is long or not. No need to rush me. This post office has had a broken sign over their package shoots and collection bins since early June. It's as if they're actively trying to dissuade postal customers from mailing packages. The result is an extraordinarily long wait time for everyone. I've been here previously where I tried to return a package that arrived by USPS, that the clerk refused to take saying it was too large. Again, it arrived via USPS. Service at this post office is really poor, the staff feels stressed because the facility hasn't grown with the community. I just cannot believe how poorly managed this post office is... the incompetence demonstrated by employees... and the lack of customer service. Their recent process for bulk drop off in the back loading area is clearly not working for them or the tax payers. I just got accosted, downright harassed, by one of the workers... All because I arrived 3 minutes early! He started yelling at me, took all my packages out of the bin, followed me to my car, pounded on my window, then kept watching me. By that time it was already 11:03am... but he yelled at me to leave, drive out and come back in. Truth be told... It took extreme patience and empathy on my part to not engage and elevate the situation... but if I'm honest... that worker was at the very least inappropriate and unpleasant, but more so aggressive, abusive, and kinda scary. RETURN THIS OFFICE TO SENDER. If this post office was a school district or a city entity, the state would come and take it over. If it was stand-alone business, it would,deservedly, go bankrupt. It is THAT bad. In this review, I'm going to share 3 specific examples. For context, the Rancho Cucamonga Post Office on Haven is really the only post office for a city of 175,000 people with a significant corporate/distribution business base. There is a teeny satellite office in Alta Loma, but that's it. It is WAY over-burdened. My personal experience is that the staff are 99% fantastic. I mean that. When people say "customer service is poor" they usually don't mean individual workers. In my experience, they have been kind, caring and trying their best to work around stupid policies. The problem is much bigger than staffing. The systems are horrid, the facility is falling apart, and the support systems around it (such as the US Postal Investigator) are unable to produce acceptable service. My personal experience is extensive here. Just in the last year: 1. THEFT: The mailboxes at our home complex were broken into in early April 2025. No notice was given to anyone, even though the carrier knew it happened and reported it promptly. We just had to KNOW that mail was missing. For me, two weeks of mail was lost include gift cards and correspondence about my son's death. Seriously. Thank god I found out, thanks to the USPS Informed Delivery Progam, just before his cremains were to arrive. Turns out they were potentially "lost in the back" of the RC Post Office. One worker told me, "we're reorganizing and there are literally boxes on boxes back there. Stuff is impossible to find". WHAT? When alerted, the staff were wonderful, and stepped in to find the cremains, called me at home to come pick them up, because we were all terrified that they would get lost if they went into the delivery system. Meanwhile, our home cluster boxes could not be fixed for weeks and I was told there was just one Investigator for a large area, so *shrug*? Lest you think this is unusual, I was told by multiple PO employees, supported by dozens of social media posts, that break-ins are common, especially around tax time. No one is doing anything about this. 2. PACKAGE SYSTEM WITH ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR COMMUNICATION: This is an ongoing facilities problem: the package drop off. They now require all packages to go to the back of the facility, but only during certain hours: 11:00am - 4:30, M-F, nothing on the weekends. If it is one minute past you are out of luck. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: this is not publicized online anywhere. You have to go in the front door, and find out that you need to re-enter your car and go around back. The inside-lobby drop off boxes -- the big ones -- are consistently taped shut with a sign that says they are broken. For months. By "back" of the facility, I mean you have to drive around to the back, be buzzed in, wait in line in your car back there, and drop things off at the dock. Sometimes you have to wait until someone decides to come out. You don't get the package scanned this way, no receipt. If the package is lost, which happens frequently, there is evidence that it was ever there. ***can I refer you to item #1 in my review? They have no idea where packages are*** Tell me how this package system works for works for customers, especially businesses? Keep in mind, a customer has already done the work for this system -- we've weighed, purchased the postage, printed it out at home and then transported it to their office, during posted business hours. But you can't drop it off. God help you if you need to drop something off, with no customer service assistance, on the weekend. This is just an insane system. 3. POST BOXES. I have had a rented post box at this location for about 20 years. It is for a non-profit, so it has a business name and several individuals on it, all with the same last name. This last summer, mail, including paychecks started getting returned. I went in and asked, and it appeared all was well. It was puzzling. It wasn't closed -- my key still worked. Then, two weeks ago, I went in again. This time, after being transferred from window to window 4 times, they couldn't find my box in the system at all. No record of past payments, at least not after 2023. Apparently the computer system is so antiquated that they only have the software on one computer terminal. They ended up closing the box out, and reissuing it under another customer name in the system, just so I could pay, which I probably didn't even owe. But I needed the box back. For the love of god, someone take over this facility! read more

They taped all the bins shut claiming they're "broken" and told me to drive around back to drop off packages--only to find the back gate locked. Completely unprofessional. Just shut this place down already! Everything is broken, nothing works! That's including majority of the lazy usps employees that talks to each other and walking around pretending they are busy. Came in with 20+ packages, line up for the self service kiosk. Guess what, 2 out of the 3 machine doesn't scan packages. Only one is functional with roughly 10 people in line just for that one machine. With probably 20+ people waiting in the actual line for service. Then I noticed all the package bins to drop off package has tapes all over it with a sign stated that the bins are "broken" there are multiple of them and coincidentally they are all "broken" with paper sign saying that we can't leave packages upfront or with the employees. We will have to go around to the back and drop it off. Once I went to the back as instructed by the paper sign, which took me a good 5 minutes just to find out the gate won't open. Went back in and asked an employee who's being there unwillingly responded that I have to drive up with my vehicle in order for them to open the gate. Fine, I hop in my car and drive back to the gate, only for someone to tell me that they are not going to open the gate anymore because is 4:31pm, 1 minute past their time frame from 11am - 4:30pm. Fking ridiculous, I been at this post office since 4:05pm just to drop off some packages. Guess what, I left with all my packages in my car. Such a waste of time. Like what in the world is wrong with this place, have all the tools available to make things easier for us but they purposely try to give us a hard time. We are paying for those packages and those idiots at this location are doing everything possible to make it difficult to just simply accept a package. I watched the staff member in charge abruptly close the door mid conversation on at least four different women before it was my turn. When I finally got to speak with her she seemed rushed, dismissive, and unwilling to fully answer or even listen to questions. The nearest Post office from our house in Rancho Cucamonga. We came to this place a couple of times to submit application for the US Passport and Passport Renewal. We also come here to send certified mails. The people who work here are cooperative. They also have self-service check out stations. They offer self service check out stations, two lines one for mail pick up/parcel and the other for everything else. All the employees are hard at work nobody is standing still unless they are suppose to work standing still by the computerwaited roughly 20mins waiting in the pick up mail line (4th)seemed as if they had issues with someone else's information but they are handling it very well as far as I can tell. read more

Over the years, no shortage of dedicated workers; on the other hand, also nightmares from the mediocre. The middle-aged lady, in the passport office, was brushing off customers, with gibberish and half-answers. The new face, or someone just killing time, in the main lobby was nothing but a shell, with empty eyes and a mouthful of hums and haws, entitlement written all over his face. Waited in the long line only for this Asian man working with black hair to tell me to use the self service kiosk, when I've been helped multiple times at this place at the desk without any issues. And when I ask, when the self service only policy was enforced, he said for about 3 to 4 years when that is not the case I've been helped at the desk plenty of times he just didn't want to help me for whatever reason, even though he has helped me before. Couldn't figure out the self kiosk so I had to go to another location down the street where they helped me at the desk no problem. And I even asked them if locations with self kiosk were able to still process packages at the desk and they said yes. Completely inconvenienced me for no reason after waiting in such a long line I will not be returning. Will be reporting to management. read more
