For all the non Niles & Morton Grove residents, if you do not look hard or do not have a GPS you just might miss this USPS location because of its location. If you are like me and drive the Oakton St route you will see it once you come upon Clarence E Culver High School & Niles Village Hall, which it sits directly behind Niles Village Hall. I seem to visit this USPS when it is at its most peaceful times. And it tends to be my last minute weekend life saver when I need to ship ebay items on the weekend due to my work hours, and due to the hours this location is open compared to others throughout Chicago/Chicagoland. I knock on wood when I say this, but I have not had any issues with the clerks nor issues with any of my shippings that I have shipped from this location. My visits are rare, but that's because of timing which makes it more of a last minute resort for me, however best believe I do not mind shipping items out of this location when I'm in route to work on the weekends. Well run. The people are helpful. I drive a little further from my home to come to this post office.

You would think USPS would notice all throughout Yelp, most if not all locations are 1-2 stars. Don't they see a pattern here?

I had a shitty experience at the post office in Park Ridge. Yay…read more I was driving by and thought I should stop and submit a change of address form I'd been driving around with for weeks whilst I was thinking about it. I'd started filling it out when I got it, but you had to drop it off in person with ID so I decided I'd come back since I was in a hurry at that time. When I came to turn it in on this day, the woman said I did it wrong because the address of when I wanted the mail to be rerouted (around the date I moved) didn't match the date I'd signed the document (which I signed just before entering). Nowhere on the form do I see anything about it requiring the dates to match--in fact, that makes very little sense, since someone might submit a change of address two or three weeks before they actually want the change to take effect since it can take that long for the mail to be diverted. So she made me get out of line to complete another form, which wasn't particularly easy whilst holding a one year old and completing it one-handed. On top of that, why is it just a given that the post office sucks? I mean, I promise that if visiting the USPS wasn't worse than getting your teeth extracted that they wouldn't be bleeding money the way they are. I avoid the post office like I avoid COVID. I thought that the post office was one of the federal government's handful of PBOs (performance based organization) but there's no way given how customer service seems to be of the lowest concern to them. The post office building is nice and fancy, and the parking lot is confusing (a lot of it is one way, which I wouldn't expect with a larger parking lot like this). But like most post offices, just gird your loins upon entering.
