At the time, I had an eBay shipment that needed to be shipped out. I took a liking to its cute building which sat in a classy looking area nearby Glencoe Village Hall right in the heart of Glencoe! Via Village Ct, I was able to veer quickly into a parking spot rather than entering off of Hazel Ave. Along with its cute building exterior, the inside environment gave off a very positive vibe rather than a negative one. As I waited to be seen, I adored the postal clerks' interaction with a customer ahead of me, who had a young daughter. The interaction appeared so genuine which put a smile on my face immediately while in line and as I moved towards the counter to be helped. As someone who visits post offices regularly whether it be for Poshmark or eBay shipments, the postal clerk presented one of the friendliest vibes I have ever encountered at any post office location. After giving the clerk my package, he questioned me if it had anything liquid or hazardous inside then explained to me the shipment options for my package which I always choose the cheapest, hehe. As a Poshmark Ambassador on Poshmark, and someone with a 100% positive feedback rating on eBay as long as the package gets to my buyer I am always satisfied. I was on my way in minutes. I am terrible at doing the surveys pertaining to my visits at post offices, but best believe I always share some sort of a review. The worker who initially started the investigation, forgot to retain a copy of the tracking number that I gave her regarding it so when she called the carrier who supposedly delivered the package with my tracking number that was on the completely opposite at the end of town, she was unable to actually confirm the package that she said it was was the one that was delivered. The next day I showed up in person, I'll be at shortly after hours because I had a second package that showed like it was missing and I wanted to try and get an answer before the long weekend had passed, and the guy who answered the window in the mail room could not have been any angrier and essentially yelled at me and treated me like I was an idiot. I work with a public facing job and I would never speak to somebody the way that he did. Three missing packages and they all seem to wanna suggest that it is me sending in the wrong address to someone. One of the packages that went missing was free and yet they still were trying to tell me that it was a scam when it wasn't even a purchased item. They're being intentionally deceitful or deceitful as a function of laziness, but in any case, what a horrifically run outfit.. Even if there is a explanation that does not include intentional deceit from the post office, the individual who spoke to me today talk to me in such a rude manner, I think the review is warranted for that alone. I am always looking to give people the benefit of the doubt and to be kind and gracious whenever possible, but the person who dealt with me today was just a straight up asshole who acted like he had told me something 10 times even though it was the first time I've ever spoken to him.

Though the college's relationship with Mid-American extends further back than this, in the four years that I've been regularly working with them, there have been no significant problems and many great successes. They always make sure that we're not paying more than we have to--even if it means telling us that some job we've offered them would be cheaper at Kinko's. They've gone to bat for us when we've had issues with postal permits and delivery issues. They routinely think of slightly different ways of doing thing than the ones we initially envisioned that make our lives easier, our publications better, and our bills less expensive. Our contact there, Bruce, is so integral a part of how we get our work done that he may as well be another employee of the college, half the time. At my company, we aren't big enough to have an in-house print shop--and we're small enough to highly value knowing who we're working with so that person can be a colleague, rather than a salesman, to us. If you're concerned about environmental impact, Mid-American uses soy-based inks and can use Forest Stewartship Council-approved paper--and can get your publications FSC-certified. Print FSC and Soy Ink logos on your publications, and you can make a statement to to your Green customers. Can't recommend them highly enough.

They were quick with both the proofs and the prints. They were very nice, flexible, and accommodating. I'm not a professional designer - I only do it on the side - so I sincerely appreciated that they were willing to run some quick proofs for us as I found a way to get the resolution up to where I wanted it. The issue was on my end with the file I had created, so it was nice to be able to adjust things to get what we wanted. Hoping to use them in the future. Thanks for the help!
