Every employee there should have a good attitude & do their job correctly in each & every area, as trained to do so - by the Book, every time. In a number of cases it has been my experience they fall short of this. It is not appropriate for a USPS employee to talk down to us Customers in any manner, no matter what the situation is, especially when we have a legitimate concern that can be substantiated. They need to have the proper respect for the Customers/Citizens they work for (especially the Senior Citizens), as employees of the U.S. Government. They are getting paid well to serve us well. Kind of my favorite local Post Office, even though they won't let me move my mail box. It is out of numerical order on our street, which bugs me for some reason. Except for when the mail truck knocked over my original mail box, and required me to get a new one (I shared the post that the two boxes sit on with my neighbor), my mail delivery has been great. It is a truly tiny post office. The parking lot is practically non-existent, but you can park on the street near by. Usually there is only one Postal worker, but they are very friendly and make a good effort to get what you need. I actually don't go inside this Post Office too much, but instead use the incredibly handy outside mail box. The mail gets picked up at 1pm most days and has proven to be very fast and reliable in getting the mail where it is going. read more

This is a large post office compared to my home office with a large lobby area and many PO Boxes. The parking lot us small but there is plenty of street parking and everyone is on and out quickly. The staff are very friendly and helpful even if you are a tourist and have a language barrier. I had a great experience and would recommend to everyone. read more

I got a box yesterday delivered by USPS and they put a plastic bag on top of the box still folded... Good job - b/c the bottom and sides of the box were soaking wet ! Too lazy to open the bag and put the box in there to keep the rain off - nope just drape it over - it will be fine... Not - Luckily my item was shipped inside a plastic bag to keep the water off my book.... This just shows me how little they respect their clients and their packages. I hope you read this and make some changes in your delivery policy. read more

This is the absolute best experience ever at a post office ! It's Christmas Eve day , we're on vacation in Morro Bay . We need to send some important documents certified mail. We find the local post office is open , no line , super polite .. can't say enough about this place. Morro Bay is the BEST ! read more

Nice post office with friendly staff. They have a cool drive-thru mail drop. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the parking lot is very small, only three cars can park and it's usually very busy. read more

We have a post office box and receive a lot of packages here, so we see the staff a lot and have also seen many interactions while waiting (briefly) in the short line. They are always so positive and helpful. They're willing to take time to help those who need extra help, and efficient for those who just need to drop off a package and run. Also a mail carrier truck broke down outside my home recently, and a new truck showed up super quick, moved all the mail to the other truck, and sent our carrier along with little delay. Since everyone loves to gripe, but few love to praise, I'll throw some love towards the MB Post Office. great staff in there, I have yet to ever experience anything but smiles and friendly folks (maybe it's just the small town thing?). Price beats anything you can get from big brown or the orange arrow, plus I like that fact that I'm supporting the postal service. Worst post office ever!! I received a package today that I had ordered online and was told I had to pay more postage for the package (clerk told me that the original shipper did not pay for enough postage). I paid it reluctantly because it was a Christmas present. On the package it says the postage was paid for a 9 oz package. When i weighed it later on a postage meter and it says the package weighs 8.9 oz. I shouldn't have had to pay! I am not the first person they have done this to either. I do not recommend this post office! read more

Always fun personalities with USPS employees, so the service here is often unique and varied. I was extremely impressed today when I accidentally threw an important letter in the recycle box. One of the employees made a valiant effort to get it out for me. read more

The Morro Bay post office employees need and attitude adjustment. When asked about which priority mailer would be best for the item to be shipped we were told they don't get involved with choices and we would have to figure it out for ourselves. When we selected one the cost to mail was more than the value of the item. We were told we better make the selection now or they may increase the price while we waited. The whole US Postal service needs to have competition and/ or be taken over by private enterprise. All they want is more money, work less, and be able to abuse their customers. There attitude would not last in private enterprise. read more
