Horrible location. Owner is constantly rude, but today was the final straw. I was waiting in line to do an amazon return when I heard the owner literally lay into this lady about her Amazon return. She now refuses to take Amazon returns during a certain timeframe and days. She says UPS is making her drown by forcing her to take Amazon returns. She indicates she's there till 10pm nightly because of paperwork. All while the customer is like well sorry this is where Amazon listed (Only place in Morro Bay). I walked out and didn't even bother. I would rather taking my UPS business elsewhere for all needs, not just my Amazon returns. During the rant she stated she has to sale now, I look forward to new owners!! read more

I brought them something Monday that was valuable and important and needed to be packed and shipped in a timely manner. They charged a fortune (that part is not their fault) and gave me a tracking number. The recipient of the shipment told me this morning, three days later, that the tracking says UPS hasn't even received the package yet. I called the UPS Store, and they told me they'd had another big packing job, and they hadn't even packed mine yet. They just sat on it for three days. If I have known it would not be packed and shipped same day I would never have left it there. And I should have known. read more

My only hesitation: workers are intimidated by too many customers not wearing the mandated MASK. It's just not acceptable to stand in line for 5-10 minutes near people who are maskless. I went in to send a package this morning and there were about 8 of us in line. The man at the front was not wearing a mask and was coughing. When it was my turn I ask the employee if their policy was not to require masks, and that it made me concerned for everyone's safety. Her name was Tracy, and she completely blew me off and said "we're not the police". I have been going there for years but I will be switching to Perry's now. Be responsible people! read more

Yes, these are trying times, and, yes, it's apparently hard to find good help these days, but I find that's most often an excuse for poor management and training. The store is now "closed until further notice due to illness", which is certainly sad; however, for the last many, many months we have had a box at this location the hours have abruptly changed without notice several times, the customer service has been spotty (with some highlights) and the owner/manager does not appear to have the right kind of demeanor for service work or any semblance of an understanding of how to manage information. If things are going to change this rapidly (hours, etc.) there should be a way to inform people without those people having to drive to the store only to find a locked door with a sign on it (or maybe two conflicting signs, as is the present case) to find out that they are unexpectedly closed. This not an ice cream shop--mail is an extremely important service. I'm not so concerned about being able to ship something, which I can do at the post office or at a UPS or FedEx location--I'm concerned about being able to receive and pick up mail sent to my rented address in a timely fashion. And I DO understand things happen, but there HAS to be a reliable system for communication of changes in service. (If you read some of the other reviews you'll see this is not a new issue--figure out a platform for getting information to people, maybe a FB page?) read more

My husband went home for a week and forgot his cell phone, only communication and he was attending several events in the Sierra Foothills. I called UPS store and the clerk was so nice and knowledgeable. I was there at 9:00 and did overnight shipping. There were 3 options of time and I chose by noon. Great customer service! We needed items to be picked up, packaged and shipped to multiple locations and the owner took care of all it. She communicated with me throughout the whole process and all the items arrived safely including a large glass lamp, a tea cart and an antique spinning wheel. This place is a much needed community resource. The staff is friendly and does a good job except when it comes to enforcing their mask policy. I suggest they step up and do the right thing or the health department will have to be called. It's a small space and often there are 5-8 people waiting in line, with at least 1-2 without masks. Can I tell you a story about "Corky?" "Corky" is 6'3" 250+ lbs and probably a former local high school football player that peaked at 18 yrs. old. "Corky" has got a huge pasta belly, but big arms because he still hits the gym after pounding a 6'er and an 18" pizza by himself. He's a tough guy who has to maintain those guns. "Corky" needs a size XXL UPS polo shirt but apparently asked for a M to accentuate his bloated construction worker physique. ["Corky" could be this guy Nick Holcomb but that is yet to be confirmed] The problem with "Corky" is that he sucks at his job because he probably hates his place in life. I've been in this UPS location approximately 3-4 times now and each time "Corky" has been a completely rude arse. No "hello." No "hi...what can I do for you?" Nope. The first thing "Corky" does is curtly ask you for your phone number. Oh, and he does that without even acknowledging you by looking at you. This last time I was simply dropping off a pre-paid package and he gleefully tells me "is this a dropoff? (yes) Oh, well next time it's gonna be a $1 charge." "Corky" oh "Corky." What a sad existence you have when charging a customer an extra $1 gets you excited. read more

I didn't think to check yelp when trying to locate the nearest UPS Store to drop off a return. I did check the UPS website to find nearest location, checked that website for hours and there was no stated changes due to corona virus. I was at UPS 8AM and saw the message in the window about opening an hour later. Did a few other things in this area as I rarely come to this shopping center, then waited for store to open. The person opening and working at this "community owned and operated" UPS store immediately blamed me for not reading the notice as I walked in to hand her the package. I said I checked the website and nothing was mentioned. Again she blamed me for not coming 4 miles to read the message in the window. Then she said I was rude for standing outside the door until she opened. After sitting in my car for 1/2 an hour I got out and stood quietly stretching until the door open. Really! I think customer service training is needed before you use this UPS location. read more

Needed to print large document double-sided and get some sheets laminated. Service was immediately surly. The guy at the counter seemed put out and unfriendly. Do you want my business? Upon payment, found charge to be triple what I anticipated, which prompted debate about whether double-sided printing doubles or halves the total number of pages. Seriously?! I was told to return in 25 minutes for laminated pages, returned in 40 and they were not done. I was the only customer in there. I would not come back. read more

Customer service is always great here... BUT where do you get off charging a customer 3 dollars for a "computer use fee"? Last time I checked it cost nothing to operate a PC, and since you charge 25 cents for black and white and 45 cents for color prints you are making your money. To top it all off not every employee agrees with the stupid @$$ "fee" because it's not consistently applied when I've gone in for printing. If you really feel the need to double shaft your customers you better put that fee on the same sheet that shows your paper print charges instead of "Surprise!!!" when it's times to pay. read more

They pulled the same BS on me today as they did Scotty P back in March2015. Went in today to print 1 document from USB drive. The charge was something ridiculous like $2.77 for PRINTING ONE PIECE OF PAPER!!! When I questioned the employee the response was "because you used the computer". What??? When I said I had done that at other stores and the charge was only for the pages printed I then got "every store is an independent franchise". Lesson learned, I won't be taking my business to this franchise anymore. read more
