They stole a package of mine. It was sent around from four different post office in memphis, before finally arriving at the right ZIP Code, and then they said they forwarded it due to it having the wrong ZIP Code, even though I have a screenshot of the label, and the company called me trying to give me the runaround and telling me they delivered it Friday. This is the shadiest post office in memphis. If you are sending anything worth more than $20, deliver it by person. read more

November 8, 2022 this will be an update or review I believe since my last one but what I will say is there have been some visible improvements definitely recommend anyone that is pressed for time if you have your package with your label on it the scanner code sealed ready to go arriving at the post office already with your package sealed label and all of that great stuff then you can go immediately to the cash and get it to scan your label or if you don't have a scanner for the label you just have numbers then you type in those numbers in the cash it's gonna ask you several questions one being is the item liquid if it is then you have to press the ass knickers of course if it's a no then you press no is going to ask you are you shipping like anything with a liquid that's like the major first question is very detail and it breaks down what they consider what liquid is so make sure you read through that you know if you're mailing something that that you abide by that particular question to just check in review that But the kiosk is the saving grace that line is usually always super long and you never know when you're gonna walk in if it's gonna be three clerks 21 or one handling maybe like appointments only and then the other one happening packages only which makes the line super long so even if you see two people they could be doing two different things one could be just you know checking out people for packages stamps and etc. but another person is there just for appointments only for people to get like their ID passport things of that nature cell if you are already you know coming to the post office and you have your packaging you're prepared that chaos is your saving grace again just monitor the questions select accordingly and wait for to ask you would you like a receipt now you don't have to opt for a paper receipt you can opt for email you can also offer a paper receipt and an email that way if you're tracking the package you have both of those avenues available to your whatever you need* read more

issues with mail and package deliveries almost every day. i've had packages marked as out for delivery and then be taken to another state this has happened twice. i've had packages marked as incorrect address when the address was correct, just for it to be delivered the next day. i've had packages marked as unable to access delivery location when that's not even possible,just for it to be delivered the next day. and now today, two packages marked as forwarded when she never came to deliver mail at all today. not just to me just nobody on my street received mail today. she simply did not bother coming to my road. at all. you have no idea what's in these packages. it could be medication someone needs asap. it could be cremated remains. and yall just play with people packages and delay them just because you can't be bothered. and when you do deliver packages, just toss it up the driveway. can't even be bothered to walk it up to the door. or packages get crammed and stuffed into a mailbox that obviously do not fit in it. just lazy and inexcusable behavior. read more

I've been using this post office for a few years now, and have never had a problem. It is conveniently located, and has multiple entrances to keeps things from backing up. My wife and I recently got our passports done here. We made an appointment online and filled out all of the paperwork ahead of time, as instructed on the website. When we walked in at 1pm, there was not a line at all. We were immediately assisted by Collis Brooks. She asked for the documents, which were stated online that we would need, and promptly started the process. She was professional and proficient. According to the website, the process should take 15 minutes per person. That is exactly how long it took. Everything was processed, pictures were taken, and payment was rendered in exactly 30 minutes. read more

I was waiting on a package it says delivered on July 29th at 3:08 I was home all day and only Mail I got was apply for a credit card , Medicare Mail. But not my package it says delivered to whom not my address. The mail carrier put in the wrong mailbox . Because I don't have it. Then they can't give me my money back!!! Okay, so this morning I went to get my daughter a passport for her trio to Europe. Ms. Collis Brooks assisted us. Now, at this point, she was already behind. I did not mind waiting though. She asked me, somewhat inpolitely, about my forms and kept interrupting when I tried to explain that I already had them. She then took my daughter's picture but could not crop the bar out. It was suggested that we retake the photo with my daughter standing up and she declined saying "it should be okay". I proceed to finish the transaction and once I get to Knowledge Tree on Summer because I am teacher and I'm trying to decorate my room, I realize that Ms. Brooks has returned a notarized form that needed to be included in the packet! I return to the post office, further delaying my plans to work in my classroom, and Ms. Brooks refuses to acknowledge me or assist Me! She walks to the back of the post office and does not return while I am there. Ms. Markita stepped in and rectified what could have been a disaster. She took my child's picture the correct way and showed it to me and she made sure the form was attached. She is the ONLY reason I am giving two stars. Otherwise, it would have been one star. She was very kind and professional, and I wish she had been there this morning so it could have been done correctly the first time and I could have been in my classroom, which at this point I am still not there, by now. read more

This place is awful. I walked in 5 minutes before closing to resolves an issue where my package was being classified as 'return to sender' because of an incomplete address which was complete bs. The mail truck drove right past my mailbox and was too lazy to come back and do their job and give me my $300 package. But besides that when I entered the building 5 minutes before closing an extremely unhelpful heavyset black woman informed me 'we clursed'. I scanned a package in and dropped it off on the 19th of January today is the 28th and still no sign or information processed that package has been shipped. I call and person says they may not haves scanned it in which was a 2 day shipment. Before then I dropped baby shower invitations off and none of my guess received them. There's an older lady that helped me, I'm guessing she's the manager because she wasn't in uniform, but I just wanted to report how rude and disrespectful she was and treated me like I was a nobody! I mean I paid usps to have this package shipped to me! After locating my package, she asked for my ID and I told her the address doesn't match what's on my ID because I'm staying here temporarily, so she just walked off and told me package will be here tomorrow and didn't give me any chance to ask any questions. I needed to know how can I get my package under these circumstances. It goes to show leadership in this location is very poor and really need some attention from upper management! On 3/19, I made a 1pm appointment for my sons passport on 4/15. This was the day I could get my son out of school and I had a break at work. My son and I arrived on Good Friday at 12:45pm to process his passport since he is a minor. I was told the supervisor would be back at 1pm. I waited and at 1:15 I asked if she was coming to process the passport. I was told by a clerk that she would be in in a few, meaning she was not there. At 1:25, I called the local post office number and a black. man came from the area on the left, not sure if it was an office or not. Since they were all being rude, no one confirmed if he was Daniel or Sherman Boyd so they will both be in this complaint. The man said something came up and got my contact number and said that I could come back the same day to process my son's passport. Being that I had clients later that day I knew it wouldn't work so I set another appointment at a different location and called to report the incident via phone. As of 4/21 I heard nothing so I went up to the post office to see what happened due to my time being inconvenienced and no one caring. The supervisor that was supposed to be there kept asking if I rescheduled and what was the issue then? Her exact words. She said that she was there at 1pm and I and every employee in that post office knew I was there until 1:35pm waiting to get my passport processed. She said that she was there standing at the area to process passports as if I was making things up. I asked her to get the man from the back, Daniel or Sherman, and she said he's not the supervisor. I let her know that I did not need him to be the supervisor to have him tell you that he saw me and took my information down to receive a call back. Again, she asked me if I made another appointment, what was the issue, and that she was there at 1pm on 4/15 which I know she wasn't. To lie in my face and be inconsiderate to my time and my sons time is very disrespectful. This brings the issue of her also stealing time, since she was apparently there, but not doing her job. Appointments are made for a reason and should be honored. When not honored, a reschedule should be accommodated. I have my son and the driver that brought me up there and if you need to pull cameras you can. We stood there forever waiting on her. She offered to pull her time cards and I told her to go ahead. She followed up with she didn't have to. Not sure why it was offered if I couldn't see them. I called to ask Sherman Boyd is he was the one that took my information down on 4/15 because I needed it for the compliant. His response was, "Ma'am you can put me in the compliant, I don't care." It's worth the drive to go to any other post office in the area than come here and waste half a day just trying to mail a package. Not a horrible experience at all. I'm not sure if it was because I went early in the am or if I was extremely lucky. When I arrived there was a long line. After a couple of mins one of the staff members, Lacy, asked if anybody was there for pickup only. Several people raised their hands in front of me and she immediately called attention to another employee in the back after she helped out another customer. After the other employee came out the line just vanished in front of me. Only two were then left and they had 3 post office employees working at that point. I believe that I was only in and out in less than 10 mins. I also believe that they're doing exceptionally well because they want people to survey then highly as they were notifying each customer of a survey they can fill out with instructions on the bottom. Hopefully I'm wrong and my experience is the norm. Even though this post office is a longer drive from my house, I will take the drive if I have to deal with employees. read more

Instead due to their all consuming effort to stage a *passport area* Bartlett NO provision for *drop ship*. This results mean USPS Bartlett does not want business including eBay business as Bartlett provides NO area for *drop ship*. God help you if you have to imposition a clerk as they snarl, and grope to find a drop off spot. These clerks have even gone so far as asking customers to stuff a box 12" by 12" by 8" into their metal shoot that only services ENVELOPES! POOR find a line/bin/area for *drop ship* OR close your doors as Bartlett is incapable of providing a FULL SERVICE FACILITY! UNACCEPTABLE! read more

Recently I had purchased a Mothers day gift online for my wife which I was proud of myself for not waiting till the last minute like I usually do. I had ordered this a couple weeks before Mothers Day and the website guaranteed delivery by Mothers Day. Feeling confident I waited...and waited...and started to get worried when four days before Mothers Day the gift still hadn't shipped. The website still said estimated delivery date was the Friday before Mothers Day. So it finally ships but does not show up on Friday. Now I'm freaking because in my infinite wisdom I had the gift shipped to my office so my wife wouldn't intercept the package and now they're saying they are delivering it on Saturday. Okay, my office is closed on Saturday. I start reaching out to the business and the post office. I didn't make any progress. The business was closed for the weekend and the Post Office said only the sender can make shipping changes after it has shipped. I ask the Bartlett Post Office to hold my package, they said they couldn't, that they had to try to deliver it first. Even so I left a note on my office building requesting they just leave the package outside the door. Earlier I signed up online for auto updates. I received an email at 9am Saturday morning that they couldn't deliver the package because they could not obtain entry to the building. So at least I know my note didn't work. I call the post office and ask when I can pick it up. They tell me "when the driver is back from their daily route." "great what time is that?" "5pm but our office closes at 4pm" So I wouldn't be able to pick it up until Monday. After listening to me mumble for about 3 minutes the postal worker finally asked me where the package was supposed to be delivered. I tell her and she puts me on hold. About five minutes later she tells me the package is there at the post office. "What, okay" "Can I pick it up?" I ask. "yes" she answers. I drive up with all three of my young children in tow and we're greeted at the door and an employee asked if she could help us. Extremely warm and pleasant. She goes into the back and retrieves the much sought after item and Mothers Day is saved. I explained my ordeal with the employee and she was authentically glad she could help me. This place is by far the worst Post Office. There is always a line out the door and one of the employees on break. You can't do your passport here either. I've been in Bartlett for years and the service gets worse every time I come here. If you have a problem with the carrier they will generally write it down but nothing ever changes. The problem will still be there years later. They should have cleaned house here years ago. read more

Hopeless. This PO does US passport renewals. They require an appointment. Appointments are done from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM daily. They also have Sat. hours. I went and was informed the next available app. was in April. Two months seriously? I was even shown the passport app. book which had a daily list of hours from 10:00-1:00 and all were crossed out except for the 10:00 app time and the 1:00 app. time. So basically what they are doing is instead of doing 4 app. daily they only allow for 2. I am not surprised because most post offices have 3-5 windows for employees to work in and have only 1-2 on duty so this is par for post offices. That said the PO on Autumn Street is a God send not because it is so great but b/c it has a working self-serve machine and b/c it is not too busy most of the time. I used to be an avid supporter of post offices but lately I am totally off them and it's no wonder they are going bankrupt. I now try to do whatever I can with the self-serve machines and if I can't do what I need with them I go to UPS stores. Highland and Poplar location and another on Stage Road are both absolutely fabulous-in and out-quick-efficent and pleasant staff at both. read more
