Evidently, those days are a thing of the past, unfortunately. I've been having an issue with a package that has, according to the USPS tracking #, "arrived", then "departed", the USPS Distribution Center in Seattle, Washington NINETEEN TIMES since July 6th!! How could this even be POSSIBLE? So, anticipating some assistance, as I've been accustomed to in the past, I stopped at the P.O. this morning & asked to speak with the "Postmaster". Of course, He or She wasn't "in" today,
So I told the entire story to the young female "clerk" at the counter, hoping for some help and/or guidance. She was as useless as power windows in a Boeing 767 jumbo jet, & rudely informed Me that "there's nothing She can do". REALLY??? I've tried calling the Distribution Center in Seattle numerous times. No one will answer the phone. I'm at My wits end what to do at this point. Ironically, & unbelievably, I recently read that USPS is abot to raise Their rates AGAIN!!!! They MUST be kidding!! The rates go UP & the "service" (or rather lack of it), go DOWN, Absolutely pathetic.
