This post office are thieves and pretty disgusting with the service they provide to their community . I paid extra $25 for them to getAdult Signature Restricted Delivery not electronic and the mailman leave the package in the mailbox and signed himself WTH. The customer service at this location is stellar. I'm a stickler for great customer service and this is one of the few postal offices who deserve to be recognized. Charles is always friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond. It pains me to see individuals give this location a unfavorable review due to one bad experience because as individuals we often fail to give that same speedy review when the service is good. read more

Have existing forwarding request on account not honored due to file in on route. Zero accountability for mistake. Followup promised but instead request closed. Opened up new request after 7 days. New request responded to outside of post office working hours as delivered properly. Horrible customer service experience. read more

Went here to ship a package and the lady said they don't provide tape. Then she goes you can buy it though. The other lady say we are out of tape for sale. Meanwhile the tape dispenser was right in front of her and she didn't even let me tape my package. read more

We always ship out multiple packages on a daily basis and the lines that form at this location is just ridiculous in our opinion. We get that there are less workers that want to work or employees sick from the Vid/Omicron/Delta and everything else but when there are other employees there it's as if they are not there. There should not be 1 register open when you see that the line is extremely long. They need help!!! read more

The workers here have been nothing but kind to me. I think it's important to be kind as a customer too and appreciate the work they do. Sure it may take a few more extra mins but plan for it. They are people too. From what I've seen with the workers I've encountered, they have done the best they could. I'm thankful for them taking care of my packages and mail. read more

So, I went back to the post office 12 days after my package was dropped off, and still no one knows where it is. I was told to leave my number and they will check to see if it went across the conveyor belt and give me a call back to let me know what happened. That was Monday and it is now Wednesday night. Unprofessional to say the least, mail lady writes on our mail twice saying to level our mailbox which does not hender her from doing her job! Then she wrote on my mail with a permanent maker that bled through some of my son medical info. I called to tell them to ask her to write on separate piece of paper and the girl defends her actions! That is illegal unless you are writing return to sender etc will not go there! read more

I sent my sister a package Nov 30, 2021 2 days Priority for $28.00. It was scanned delivered Dec.8 2021, 8 days later to someone, just not to my sister. I went over several times to the Lawrenceville, GA post office.I called the post office in the city / state where my sister lives. They kept telling me they would send the carrier back out to retrieve the misdelivered package. This went on for weeks, while telling me the same BULL Jan 25 2022 they tell me this is now a POLICE MATTER. I have to file a police report. They had 3 employees working when I went in here to do in-person verification since their website is crap and wouldnt allow me to forward my mail or enroll in informed delivery online. One employee stood there trying to get a hand held device to work while the other looked over her shoulder for over half the time I was there while only ONE guy helped the customers. Finally when they finished, they moved as slow as molasses. When it was finally my turn, I got sent to wait behind someone else since the lady couldnt do in-person verify in her line. Noone there looked under 60 and they all moved like they were over 80. read more

This is probably my least favorite post office. Unfortunately, I have to go here because it is so close to my house. Its a joke they offer self service, since the machine to place the packages in has been broken for over a year. It seems no matter what time of the day I go - there is always a long line. They do not have enough people working the counters for the volume of business. Because of where it is situated on the Lawrenceville square gettting in and out of the post office is difficult. Parking is always not easy either. About the only plus is that the people that work there are extremely pleasant. I just hate to go there...because I know I will always have to wait in line for at least 20 minutes. read more

So...why is it we can't give zero stars again??? I've been here half a dozen times, but I usually use the self-service kiosk instead of waiting in line. This time I had four boxes that exceeded the size allowed inside the drop-off bin, so waiting in line had to be done. Me and hubby went into the lobby and were the only ones in line. Older gentleman at the far left called us to his station & instructed us to write addresses on the boxes and gave us a marker to do so. Yes I know, we should have written them down ahead of time, but we were in a rush and forgot to do so. After we got our trusty marker, the same gentleman told the other employee on his left that he "was taking his break now", thus leaving her AND us without any help. Let me say this. I worked as a bank teller for four years. If I had ever walked away from my window while a customer was standing there to go on a break, I would have been written up QUICK. The employee who was left alone gave us an apologetic look, and assured us that she would help us next. Thankfully she was soon joined by another gentleman from the back who helped her because a line had formed behind us. Tip for the future sir whose name I do not know: Do not leave your window while in the middle of helping a customer. I know you're probably tired from being on your feet all day, and maybe even a little hungry too. But park it at your window and help your co-worker clear the lobby. Your leftover pot roast can wait. I usually just let rudeness go, but coming from a federal employee whose job is to serve the public, NOT THIS TIME! An employee whose first name is Sally at this location is beyond RUDE!!! I spoke to her today to follow up on a question I asked the supervisor there on Saturday. Sally stated she would relay the message to the supervisor and have her call me back. When I called back because I didn't receive a call from the supervisor, Sally again answered the phone. When I asked to speak to the supervisor because I didn't receive any word from her, Sally stated it is a Monday and the supervisor is very busy on Mondays so I will just have to wait! When I told her that her response to me was rude, she said "oh well bye, have a nice day." I will also be reporting her to the Inspector General for the postal service! If she can't appreciate having her job, she should quit! There are many other people who would appreciate their government job and know how to serve the public!
