Always friendly at this post office! Aqua is always a sweetheart and there's a couple of other gentlemen there who are nice as well.

please do not go here, they are very adamant with serving customers at a time where the closing hours hasn't even been reached yet. I was in there for about 30 minutes straight behind just two customers and then the service attendant told us that only the Customer ahead of me and this other person was the only one that would be the final to get served, everyone else me this lady in front of me and about 12 other people we're just told to leave despite it being not even 1:50 PM. My package was to be delivered today but the carrier decided to return it to the post office & now it says I requested it....i did NOT!! Local PM doesn't correct bad delivery. I asked for help with a priority mailing, then switched to first-class. The clerk appeared annoyed, refused to explain clearly, and became hostile when I took a photo of my addressed envelope. I clearly showed my phone that I was not photographing her. She swiped away the letter and raised her voice. It made the experience feel aggressive and uncomfortable. Also, their AC was broken during my visit, and it was extremely hot inside. Just something to be aware of before going. read more

Wow! We went there during an hour they were less busy and not so many people and both Postal office associates were very polite. They were very patient with me, my Mom, and my Grandma. They not only helped us there customer but you could see how much they cared for us and made sure we had everything we needed. Both associates also worked very quickly and carefully. I stopped by to drop off two packages going to an APO address overseas. GARY entered the wrong address and i told him it was incorrect he proceeded to tell me that's the only way it would work...despite me telling him the box number was incorrect. He did not try and correct it. He moved me to another clerk. That was the second time that he had pushed his work off to another coworker. The first time he stated he couldn't take a customer because he had lost his key and didn't have money in his drawer due to a loss of key. I watched another worker come in and GARY left his station to follow her back despite the fact that there was three people waiting in line. I don't know if he was training but he needs to do better! read more

Hands down best experience I've had at a US Post Office. There were 4 employees working the front and I witnessed every single one of them being pleasant (I had time, the line was looooong) with every customer they attended to. The person that attended to my mom and I, Aqua, was especially fantastic. She went above and beyond to help my mom with her various postal needs. read more

They have lost my package or it was stolen. The package was sent registered mail. After calling and talking to representative I got no satisfaction. They have a paper trail of where it last was and who had last access to it but refused to do anything. read more

I try to do my business with the post office as quickly as I can here. When sending a parcel overseas, we have to pick up a declaration form to fill out but the post office attendant behind the counter always has an attitude. I guess customer service is not a priority here. Also, they tend to forget that tax payers fund their salaries. Full service hours are: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Saturday 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Sunday & Holidays Closed There are the self service hours where you can come in to drop off your mails 24/7. Right after Thanksgiving day, I came here to buy some Christmas stamps but was told that they are all out of them. It was most disappointing since this is a big post office. This location is the king of assholes. I live literally 5 minutes from this location and it's a pretty big location. Not the usual small location. This is the real deal. This was my first time ever mailing anything to anyone. It was important documents so my mom told me to get it certified. The Asian guy his name is Tam. Good god he is awful. He was really rude to me and pointed to the millions of different boxes I needed to get! hey asshole its my first time here, can I catch a break? I walked upto him again and he just took all my envelopes and shoved my confirmation in my face and screamed "NEXT". I mean if you hate your job so much, I suggest you find another one because there are people who are desperately looking for one. **end of rant** stop ruining peoples day Tam! This is a really great post office. Sweet people. My favorite is that on the far right counter you can drop off labeled packages and not wait in line. Just print off from the internet and tape on your package. Buy a little scale and it makes the process so easy. Also they have a place when you pull in around to the left where you can bring a huge bundle of packages. They have lots of times throughout the day when packages go out. Parking is to the right when you pull in. The front row and second row is reserved for customers. Solid place! Added 5-26-2017 Sherea Emanuel who works here is amazing!! She is so joyful everyday. She welcomes you in like you're in her home and even gives out free hugs. It's great to see someone so excited to be at their job and welcoming people in. Its the North GA Hub so they have longer hours and packages arrive at their destinations quicker. I havent had any problems at this location until recently. I always keep tape in my trunk(no...not for bodies) but i couldnt seem to find it so I asked them if they could let me use their tape. At every post office ive been to(from Kennesaw to Atlanta), ive never had a problem but NOPE. The Asian guy(i dont know his name) told me to buy tape. Huh? Why would I spend $3.50 to buy tape when i have mine and i only needed a little bit. I would have been fine if he had said it nicely but he was SO rude. So I asked him to give me the priority mail tape. Him: is it a priority package? Me: no but im going to use it since you wont let me use that tape sitting on your desk Eventually, the other guy intervened and gave me tape. Ridiculous. This was a few months ago. I went back last week and was sending a package priority this time. I found my tape thank goodness but I drove SO's car and i KNOW they aint trying to make me buy priority tape. I walked up to the counter(no one in line at that moment) and asked that same guy if I could get the priority tape. I asked nicely and smiled sweetly. This dude tells me to hold on, calls a lady that got in line to assist her while i stand there. huh???!!! #1. I got there before she did #2. the tape is right on your counter i could just grab it but i have manners unlike YOU The same guy that intervened had to reach between rude guy and the customer(i was to the side) to hand me the tape. I think he saw something snap when he looked at me. Like I said, Ive never had any problems at this location and often, there's someone walking around assisting customers and making sure everything's good. It's because of people like that rude guy that the USPS is going out of business(ok i know thats not why buy i wanted to say it lol). read more

The Absolute Worst!!! I went here as soon as they were open. Two workers were there and by the time I stepped up, one of them went to the back. The place just open, how is it that you have to go to the back already, WITH A LINE FORMING. Then I get up to the black girl and she had to be new. Because she claimed that she couldn't stamp my ticket without filling it out. Sweetie I've been doing this for years. This is why I like the Alpharetta location. Less of them and better service. If I ever need to return to this location, I definitely do not want her help AT ALL. I really believe that the pandemic have brought out the laziness in people and some company hire anyone just to fill positions and don't bother training properly. read more

I think I'm allergic to Post Offices. The smell. The lines. The prices. Yek. This is probably the first one I've gone into and not experienced an allergy attack. The lines move quickly, the employees are helpful, and they GETTERDONE, meaning that when you mail something here, they gonna deliver. Literally. Does the word "hub" mean anything to you? This is the hub for all of North Georgia and beyond. So if you mail something in your North Georgia home's mailbox to another zip code, it's coming here first. Usually when I mail something from here, it's a next-day delivery, which makes me happy. Yay for government-funded efficiencies! read more

I don't typically come to this post office because it's typically slow going. Today (Monday at noon) really wasn't much different. I came in for a stamped envelope and with a line of three people ahead and two mail agents, I kinda thought i'd be in and out in 2 minutes flat. Before I continue, i'll also say that you can get your passport photos here...and that's where one employee went after he got rid of customer number 1, leaving only one person in charge of customers 2, 3 and me. I wont fault the post office for having customers with less than simple requests, but that's kinda why you keep enough man power there to handle that. Took me about 8 minutes to get my envelope. Sure, not the end of the world, but again, at least have a couple of people taking care of customers. Parking is always pretty easy to get, although getting out can sometimes take a bit, since there's no light if you'd like to take a left onto boggs. This location consistently has the rudest employees. I try to avoid coming here because each time I come they are rude and unfriendly. Sent a letter certified today and I had the displeasure of being "helped" by Valerie. She didn't return my smile or anything. When I said I would just fill out the receipt portion later, she said I needed to do it now or she wouldn't do it. I told her I would do it later, as it is MY RECEIPT COPY but she refused. Another woman working, I didn't get her name unfortunately was also rude to an Asian couple. She was very condescending and rude to them and it was obvious there was a language barrier but she was just impatient and unpleasant. read more

Dropped 2 packages off in the dropbox on the same day and time after printing a label at home. Both packages were never scanned in as being received and never reached their destination. Someone at the Post Ofc is stealing the packages before they are sorted and scanned in. Please do not drop any mail in the outside box.
