An african american lady was really really rude period. WOuld advice to think twice before going to this place. She does not know the form number., when asked she raised her voice against me and said you are not listening.. She is RUDE period.. The manager needs to train her before letting her ship packages for customers.. or may be she was having a really bad day.. I was trying to talk in a polite manner but she didnt let me. This is the WORST post office I've ever been to. Usually, I'm not one to leave negative comments, but I created a Yelp account just to say how awful this location is. The staff is rude. They don't greet you. They're not smiling. They rush you, so they can do whatever they were doing before you got to the counter. This woman behind the counter told me if I wasn't inside the rope, I wouldn't receive their services because they're closed. I WAS STILL INSIDE THE BUILDING! WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE CLOSED? To top it off, I said I was having a bad day, and the guy behind the counter said, "I don't care about your bad day. I'm ready to go home." WHO. SAYS THAT? I understand it was closing time, and it's really annoying when people come in last minute. However, this is your JOB. You can't treat people like that when you work in customer service. US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Irving, Texas

They refused to take a package because it was two boxes taped together. Didn't bother to measure the dimensional weight to get a rate. I take the same packaging to other locations and they never have a problem. People drop off prepaid labels of similar shape and construction and they don't have a problem but when asked to measure and make the label themselves they refuse to do their job. Trying to call a postal representative and being told that my wait time will be 45 minutes to an hour and eight minutes is totally unacceptable. My complaint? I sent a birthday card which was returned to me by the Nixie clerk claiming that there is no such street in Irving Texas. The Street and the address has existed for more than 30 years. I have visited the address on several occasions. I personally know that it does exist. What happened to the use of nine digit zip codes? Can't people read any more? The zip code directory also indicates that the address is good. With service like this, you are not losing business to other companies, you are giving it away. I hope this message gets to a postal manager. This is shameful and no way to run a business. read more

This is the second time I'm been needing my medication and it was sent in one business day but takes an entire week for me to track it down, because they needed a signature. So, I take the card to the post office to get my package and guess what they think it's on the truck. So, I signed the card and put it in my mailbox requesting them to leave my package, check and the cards gone and no package. I've requested it to be redelivered, and of course I'm working and can't be there. At least they could tell me where it is so I can pick it up and not be told, "oh we can't find it, it must be on the truck" after standing in line for 20 mins and late to work. read more

Worst post office ever. The customer service is horrible!!!! I went in this morning to get another passport because it showed on the site that the service was from 9am-12. I get there and while one postal worker was being very cordial another short, fat black lady with a really low haircut kept butting in with the worst attitude ever. She was nope, you ain't gonna get one today...you need an appt to get a passport here...and they ain't got no appts anytime soon. Then I explained to the other lady I needed to file mine as stolen and I still had my pic from Colorado, when I did it at the post office there to use for the new one. And the fat chick goes COLORADO????? I'm like yes, I lived there. Then this chick rolls her eyes and said "Is that pic more than 6 mos old cuz if it is you can't use it anyways. You gotta start all over. So I look over and I'm like, LADY, this is not the first passport that I've lost. Damn. Anyways, this bitter black woman ran me hot. She doesn't get paid enough to be rude to me. But they need to put her ass in the back and let her sort mail. She's bad for business. read more

Attention Passport applicants! No more walk-ins! They announced this to everyone who was in line last Friday. I can only imagine this being way more efficient than having walk-ins, because the waiting in line was unbearable. It took 3 hours to get my passport today, and I got there at 7:30. (I was sixth In line) It was just as bad as the DMV, except there were like 3 chairs to sit in and 35 people. No air conditioning as far as I could tell. The lady who does the passports is really nice and helpful though. So, I would like to say thank you to her, for having such a positive attitude! It's not her fault she's the only passport specialist, and that there are so many people who don't understand the process, or read the directions. It annoyed me that so many people were so clueless and unprepared to get their passport... How do they function in life? I would have gone to another office, and made an appointment but I needed a passport ASAP. I'm just so glad I don't have to renew it for another 15 years. I'm happy I got it done! read more

If only I could rate zero stars. Once again this office has misplaced my mail. This is a business and the package is paychecks for my employees. This package was sent priority mail. Their records show that it was delivered yesterday however here we are at the end of the day today and still no checks. Trying to get anyone on the phone is damn near impossible. After about 30 calls I was able to speak to a person. Not shocking that the rep can offer no help at all. When she picked up the phone both times I can hear people messing around in the background including the girl I was trying to speak too. Laughing and joking while taking a call from a client is completely unacceptable. And again no resolution. Now I have an office full of upset unpaid employees. Again this is not the first time this has happened. I am posting this in hopes that management tighten things up because this is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!! The "Supervisor" is named Porsche. She is extremely rude, and incompetent. Every time I ask Her a question she raises her voice at me and speaks over me before I have a chance to ask my question. When I ask her to let me finish she hangs up on me. She has done this twice now. And now the phone line is conveniently busy. SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!!! I have already contacted the Post Master and the consumer affairs line to make a formal complaint so hopefully she will be. read more

This post office is clean and comfortable and the only person that cares and does his job right is the tall guy on the back but I havent seen him again in a long time dont know if he still working there. Every time I been there is someone yelling at the woman staff they have there bcs of something different. I agree with them since they have such a bad attitude they dont have manners at least to say good day, good morning, words like please, thank you, have a good day or so. They are rude and not helpful at all, instead of making it easy for you to send your packages and letters they always come up with a negative answer with no solutions for you as a customer. I never say anything just to avoid a confrontation but specifically yesterday I had enough with their attitudes when I tried to send a small package and all she was doing was making it more difficult for me and of course with their bad attitudes and rudeness. I exploded and told them that people are tired of their bad attitude and that they are also racist because the only people they seem to get along and wants to assist are their own race and they all look at each other and started laughing out loud. I left without sending my package but then I got back to report it to a supervisor and it was still open although it was 6pm sharp but they started closing their windows in my face and laughing when I said that I wanted to talk to a supervisor and just ignoring me. Then there was another one of the staff closing his window in front at the express counter and he was laughing too and just ignoring me like if I was no human standing there just an animal. I told him to go get a supervisor and he kept repeating we are close. I told him Im here and you just close in my face on purpose just ignoring me. They never wanted to get a supervisor and I could hear them laughing on the back like if I was a crazy person. First I was by myself carrying my baby in my hands and a package on the other one and they didnt even care making go through that. I am a decent person who deserves to be treated with respect as anyone else. I live across the street from this post office and its the only one close to me Im a busy mother and wife and I dont think I have to go to a further office just because this woman dont want to be respectful and do what they been paid to do. If anyone knows where can I take my complaint to be escalated regarding this I will appreciate that you can send me information and also there is more people withing this Valley Ranch community that are also tired of these issues and wants to get together to make a formal complaint for someone to do something about it so the more people that the better.
