At the counter I have to wait until a lady finishes up a long conversation to come to me with an attitude like Perceiving me as an intruder. I presented her my label from my cell phone asking asking her if it can be printed here while I am making this shipment. She looked at it with disdain and explained to me that because of these two black section, one on top one at the bottom which will take a lot of her expensive printer black ink, she won't be able to do it. Trying to see if she might have a useful suggestion for a first time customer was unsuccessful. I finally said I am going to have it reprinted and come back tomorrow. The next Day, Friday a little after 6PM I went back with my heavy box, with reprinted labels, this time two instead of one in case, she was already at the counter, she recognised me and I handed her the lables, she took one and with the same attitude and tone of the day before, she articulated "why you brought two only one is enough". That was my first reprimand. I chose not to bring an answer and remained quiet. Now she became irritabe telling me that she has right to an answer. Now I articulated that I have my right to answer your question or not to answer, let get this business going that's why I am here for. That was my second reprimand. And she went on with a roll of tape in her hand asking me: why your lable is not taped on the box, I don't have to do this for you, you should know better. I told her this is the first time I am confronted with a situation like that. She refrained to continue the process on a way like if I had anvanced with something judged unplaisant by her, she would just stop the process and tell me "go away with yr box" I didn't give her the chance to act like that by telling her: let's get that going which is more important to me and the only reason I am her. That was my third reprimand. I don't know if she is the owner or an employee but on my one perspective, my personal assessment she is deprived of customer service skills, she is irritable, Not welcoming at all, her wordings is low level close to insulting even in a barrack where high speed tone with strong wordings could be required, they wouldn't hire her. The community doesn't deserve that. In such a small business where people come and go we need more than a smile, a welcoming approach a desire to transform customer anxieties and apprehension to feeling of satisfaction. I cannot be more longer but my deception is and seems irreparable. I will continue going there to measure changes. We need small business like Hyde Park Business Center, a brilliant idea But an unhappy person or a misanthrope can't be at a receiving desk.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience with U-Haul was unacceptable…read more We reserved two trucks a full month in advance: one for June 26 and another for June 29. The day before our first rental, U-Haul changed our reservation from the Hyde Park location to a Mattapan location for the 15-foot truck we had reserved. When we arrived in Mattapan, the location was locked with no employees present, even though there was a truck parked behind the building. We called the number for the location and could not get any meaningful assistance. We then contacted U-Haul customer service, only to be told there was actually no truck available there and that we had to return to the original Hyde Park location. When we got back to Hyde Park, the 15-foot truck we had reserved was no longer available. The only truck they had was a 10-foot truck. Since we were in the middle of moving, we had no choice but to accept it. Because the truck was much smaller than what we had reserved, I had to make two trips between Milton, MA and Western MA instead of one. This significantly increased our mileage, time, fuel costs, and stress. To make matters worse, U-Haul attempted to charge us for the additional mileage even though it was only necessary because they failed to provide the truck we had reserved. We filed a complaint when we returned the truck in Western MA. The situation got even worse on June 29 when we arrived to pick up our second reserved truck. We were refused service because an "eAlert" had been placed on our account over the disputed mileage charges from the first rental. We spent more than two hours trying to reach customer service. We even requested a callback from another phone because no one answered the line we had been holding on. When we finally spoke to someone, we were simply told that we had to pay the disputed balance before they would honor our second reservation. As a result, we were left without a truck on the day we still needed to finish our move. The most disappointing part of this experience wasn't just the initial mistake--it was the complete lack of accountability afterward. We made our reservations well in advance, yet U-Haul failed to provide the equipment we reserved, charged us for costs caused by its own error, and then prevented us from renting another truck until we paid those disputed charges. Moving is stressful enough without having to spend hours chasing customer service and being penalized for mistakes that weren't ours. I hope U-Haul improves both its reservation system and its customer service so other customers don't have to go through what we did.

The driver has repeatedly lied about coming to our house and saying that either the package was not available or that we were not home. Not only have we been home, but we have a video doorbell so we can see anyone who comes to our front gate. I have called the main UPS center and also have had this distribution center call me. On two of these occasions (Saturday and today) I have been promised that the package was on the truck and that the driver would be dropping off and picking up my packages. These calls were helpful and reassuring, however the driver again lied about coming to our house and never actually came here. The notes he makes online contradict reality - he says that he stopped by and the packages were not available, however if the package was on the truck, why not at least deliver that when you are stopping by? A signature is not required. When I spoke to a woman at the distribution center, I asked if perhaps he needed help and today she told me that she was personally making sure that someone would be on the truck to help him deliver the item as it is heavy. Still didn't get delivered, though he did say that he came to our home and that the packages he was supposed to pick up weren't available. On one of the first days this happened, I heard the truck and ran outside and he was parked down the street and I considered running down to check if we could get our things but he drove away - come to find out that was the exact time he was logging in that we were not home. I was literally standing on the sidewalk looking at him and the truck in the distance. He never came near our home or even got out of the truck. Not sure what to say as there is a bit of a monopoly and I can't keep my packages from going through this distribution center. I'm calling and messaging UPS every time this happens and the Norwood Distribution center IS calling me and telling me that my packages will be delivered/picked up that day. They have been friendly and helpful, except that they can't seem to get this driver to come to my house or deal with him lying about it. So yeah, if you are getting gaslit by your UPS delivery person, you are not alone. They actually ARE lying about coming to your house and are not actually coming. You aren't crazy. At least not about that. ;) Update: A driver came today and dropped off the package but did not pick up the other two. I happened to hear him so I ran out and asked if he could take the two that were waiting to be picked up on the porch. He said that he didn't have the labels or paperwork (even though dispatch had assured me they had been given out on Saturday and again on Monday) but that he could take them. He also said that he was a temporary replacement driver. I'm updating this from one star to two because he was clearly doing his best and trying to do a good job. I'm not sure who, where, or what in the process caused all of the above to happen but the process could definitely be improved upon. Am really just keeping this review up so that if you experience something like this you know that you're not alone and also that it might just be a super crappy system with no one actually being malicious or even negligent. I don't know. But the driver was really nice and the packages are all fine so (hands in the air shrug IDK...good luck out there!)

Hello, My name is…read moreMike, and I am the Operations Manager at Franklin Sports in Stoughton, MA 02072. Since our account was moved from Brockton to Norwood, we have experienced ongoing and unacceptable issues with our daily pickups. Franklin Sports has had a 5:00 PM pickup for more than 40 years. Our warehouse closes at 5:00 PM, and we have always relied on the carrier arriving at that time to ensure our shipments leave the facility as scheduled. Unfortunately, since the account transition, drivers have repeatedly failed to arrive for the scheduled pickup. On multiple occasions, our employees have had to remain after hours and incur overtime costs simply because the driver did not show up. This is not only creating unnecessary labor expenses, but it is also creating significant operational problems for our company. More importantly, there are times when we have critical or time-sensitive packages that must leave our facility that day. Our CEO is understandably very unhappy when important shipments are not picked up because a scheduled truck does not arrive. What makes the situation particularly frustrating is that we have seen trucks traveling directly past our building around 5:00 PM while our scheduled pickup is still waiting to be made. We need this issue addressed immediately. We need confirmation that our 5:00 PM daily pickup will be consistently serviced, as it has been for decades. If there has been a change in routing, staffing, dispatch procedures, or the pickup arrangement since the move from Brockton to Norwood, we need to understand what has changed and, more importantly, how it will be corrected. We value our longstanding relationship with your company, but the current level of service is not acceptable for Franklin Sports. We cannot continue keeping employees after hours and paying overtime because scheduled pickups are missed, nor can we risk important shipments being left behind. Please escalate this issue to the appropriate operations and dispatch management team and provide us with a clear resolution as soon as possible. Thank you, Mike Operations Manager Franklin Sports Stoughton, MA 02072
