I would like to thank dale that works in our helendale post office. He is always a person that welcomes everyone with a big smile we all appreciate you and the staff that helps us daily Hopefully the postal service will spend some money and fix this building. Much Improved Customer Service - Great Local Post Office! I've really noticed how much the customer service has improved at the Helendale Post Office! The staff are now consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. It's a refreshing change that makes every visit quick and pleasant. Whether I'm dropping off a package or just checking my P.O. box, I'm always greeted with a smile and a willingness to assist. The line moves faster, the service is smoother, and the overall experience feels much more organized and welcoming. Operating very well these days. Staff is pleasant and efficient. I actually look forward to going there now.

I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately, although they have placed some new people that are way more efficient, friendly and have a good value of customer service. They still have one staff member named Toni that is very very rude. her customer service is horrible. She will make no effort to look for any package. In fact, I could put money on it that she probably would sabotage it where your package gets lost and returned or returned because she doesn't care to even look. she'll just tell you "it's gone. We already sent it back." When I go and I see her it's like a dark cloud in the room. The energy is dark and heavy. I do everything in my power to let people in front of me to avoid having her take my service if she is the only one there I will leave And try another day because I'd rather her not ruin my day with her negative energy and horrible customer service. I hope she retires soon because she's overdue and needs some happiness. I can say that every time I come here and do not deal with her. I have a good and positive experience. read more

Horrible! Get an account at Postal Depot in Helendale. I've had so many frustrating issues with this post office. Mail is decent, but getting packages can be a nightmare! They've shipped my stuff back after only 3 days! And they're rude and unhelpful. read more

I would give no stars if I could. Our family has had the same P.O. Box for over 25 years here in Helendale. Over the years the service here has just gotten worse and worse. They've talked with us on numerous occasions about changing our box # because we "receive too much mail". So they know who we are, it's a small town. But my father has been waiting for a package for over 2 months! He thought perhaps it was maybe a scam, but I helped him with tracking and indeed it was delivered to our post office back in October. It was at our post office for no more than 2 hours before they shipped it back to sender for insufficient address. Terrible service here, almost always. The employees are by far the rudest, laziest an unprofessional federal employees that I have ever met. The post office is always dirty they always have a dirty look on their face when you approach them, and they are extremely rude. It's unfortunate to live in such a nice area and have such horrible employees servicing this wonderful community. Anyone who has posted a positive review about this post office must be an employee here. This post office is the epitome of post office stereotype. Residence of Silver Lakes are REQUIRED to have a post office box, which is a huge inconvenience. You would think that since it's required, maybe the staff here would be accommodating. They are unfriendly and bitter people. Saturday hours are two hours only, 10:00 to 12:00. Regular weekly hours are 9:00 to 5:00, so if you have a regular job during the week you better get yourself to the post office to pick up or mail packages during that 2 hour period or you're out of luck. I appreciate having my mail delivered securely, but the postal workers here are so rude, and they just do not care. In fact, this is THE WORST post office I have ever dealt with. It is even more frustrating because I have even made a formal complaint to the USPS main office. They had the female postmaster (who works at this office) contact me, and all she did was make excuses for her employees, and tell me she thought her workers were doing their jobs well. The whole process is a joke and so are the employees at this location. Shame on the USPS for allowing it to continue! read more

I give 0 for my rating. There is only one new man working at the post office who actually works. The women are as slow as possible because they like to see us have to wait for 40 minutes to pick up a package. They know they have the upper hand. I swear it has now become a game with them. Do our neighborhood a favor and get some people in there that really don't mind working. They used to be open until five now they close at 4:30. They are open on Saturday from 10 to noon. People were waiting to pick up packages before they opened today. Big line waiting to get their package and as soon as they opened they announced that they would not be giving out packages today. Many people work and can only get their package on Saturday. This has to be the worst post office ever. I have lived here for five years now. Instead of improving they have become much worse. I like this place. Not only is it a little more affordable for a PO BOX but it has an old school kind of feel to it. It seems like everyone knows each other due to it being a small community. People are friendly and that's including staff and customers. If you live out here it's a requirement to have a PO BOX but it's free for a small one. If you don't then you pay for the box you need which is at a lower price! read more

Very inefficient employees at this location, customers are always lined up out the door. They commonly chat amongst each other and seemingly walk extremely slow on purpose. Employees are often rude, to be fair customers seem to always have an attitude with the employees. The vast majority of people going in there are just there to pick up packages because for whatever reason USPS doesn't want to service houses which causes all kinds of problems across the board. read more

We need an improvement on this post office. One person working on the table and the rest never to be seen. I go in every day and it's always packed. You literally have to wait 1 or 2 hours long in line just so that can get your package. read more

I live in Silver Lakes, and although not having a mailbox outside the front of your house isn't the most convenient thing in the world, I've never had an issue with this post office. Toni is always super nice, my packages have always shown up and not been damaged, I've never had anything arrive late, and even though the line may be long sometimes - they do a pretty good job of being quick and efficient considering the amount of people this one tiny location serves. Before you were quick to judge the people that work there and the attitude that you may perceive, remind yourself of how stressful and exhausting of a job it must be to be there all day, they are definitely overworked and underpaid and it's not fair. I always make sure I show them gratitude. They work really hard regardless of what you may see from the outside. If your packages are ever late, damaged or lost, I understand that it can be frustrating, but being patient and kind to Postmasters goes a long way in finding a solution for you. I've been nothing but impressed by them considering the circumstances they are dealt. Thank you for all your hard work, guys. read more
