This location is located off 395. It has a large parking lot. The blue drive-up boxes are no longer outside. This location has po boxes, passport issuance, and gifts in the lobby. There's also free medium and large flat rate boxes for priority mail. Over the years the service has been up and down but lately there seems to be a more positive customer service vibe. Even with long lines, I notice how the employees treat each person like a valuable asset. The employees are knowledgeable and answer questions regarding shipping, stamps, and any other postal questions you have. They also post notices for closures on the door, which I've found to be very helpful. read more

Small USP Office that doesn't have the volume of the Victorville Office which is much larger but Victorville Office is much friendlier and responds to their customer request. Adelanto USP Office are Rude and doesn't care about Customer Service. Sometimes there's no one in the line. You would think they would want to do better instead they say call Publi Affairs or Office of Inspector General. Poor Service! read more

I have to say that I have had MANY unhappy experiences at most Post Offices I have been to but it never seems to be the case with this one. The employees are all so friendly and nice that you kind of forget that you just waited for 20 minutes to get to the counter. The good thing about this BUSY branch is that the minute the line gets large any available employee jumps to help people which is not the case with some of the other offices I have ever been to! This U.S.Post Office has a real comfortable vibe here. It's small and the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to take care of my business with ease. For several years now there has been long waiting lines just to be helped with shipping something or buying postage or just about anything. Pre-covid they had items over on the back wall that you could just walk in and buy, like boxes and packing tape, but post covid that is no longer possible. If you're lucky they'll have two people working the counter, but most of the time it's just one person. So the line and wait time gets long. I've gone to other post offices on a weekend and have been able to walk in and drop off mail, but the Adelanto office is only open for 3 or 4 hours on a Saturday and then after that the place is locked up tight. I run a home based business and ship items regularly. Sometimes I don't have time to do a post office run to drop off packages. So I'll go online and request a package pickup. Three times now they have not picked up packages from my home and I have had to go the next day to drop things off. I wish there was another post office that I could go to that wasn't too far away. Moved here over two years ago and got a PO BOX because of mail theft in my area. The only issues I have is when I get behind stupid people in line when I have to pick up a package from Amazon or eBay. This place is full of clueless customers. Horrible service, they have 4 desk for service but only on clerk working, months ago my mail box got broken into and they have not fix it and I have to come here to pick up my mail, they never have anyone to help for that, you have to get in line to just pick up your dam mail read more

They do not open on time and they only have one person working the front. Line is extremely long every day! If you can go to another post office I recommend that! Sadly I have no choice but 2 get my mail here, so it's a hit and miss if I'm even able to pick up packages in the morning before work. read more

Terrible, i go in there everyday. Only to see the line all the way to the back. They dont care. They tell the employees to relax and dont look at the line. They dont care how long you have to wait in line. Not knowing of the person next to you has covid or not. At least an hour wait everyday. Everyday. They had a good quick lady helping but she is gone. The mail lady here is the worst I don't know if she's just being petty or lazy but she'll mark that she can't access my house I don't even have a gate, my package has been saying it will get delivered next day since March 4, it's now March 16. I really really like this post office! Selling online I go to a lot of post offices up here. Since other then my regular postal lady Victorville main post office hardly ever get it right! So I drive all the way out here to Adelanto. The lines are shorter, the service is friendlier, and they get it right. They know your online business will suffer if they don't get it right and they care. No packages ever leave here without being scanned. Nor do they get lost like they do in Victorville! read more

Went in there to cash $500 money order after I saw a man ahead of me buy several thousand dollar money orders, the lady that works there with the braids literally told me it was a "small post office" and that they didn't cash anything over $200. WHATT?? this is the biggest post office I have ever seen in California! Have you seen the building? My packages are always scanned next day unless I wait in line. Management lie to customers about packages that need to be delivered. Regular carriers don't even scan outgoing packages when they pick up at a residence. Poor customer service. read more

My only complaint is that I went in there with my husband to send out some mail and I had our 2 month old malinois puppy with us cause we are trying to get her familiar with going places since she is so scared of everything still. I didn't not let her walk in, I was carrying her in my arms. No harm right? Place was empty, other workers didn't have a problem except for ONE, she was an older woman with a mole above her lip and she JUST had to say something when we were just trying to go in quickly send our mail and be on our way. She said across the room so the few people in there could hear, "YOUR DOG NEEDS TO BE ON A LEASH"... oh really? She's 2 months old she doesn't even walk on a leash yet never mind the fact I was holding her in my arms so what's the problem. So I had to inconveniently walk outside and then my husband had to go outside cause I was the one with the card to pay so we had to switch off playing who wants to hold the puppy outside so we can send off our mail. Do not use this post office. Paid for 2 certified letters to be sent. These letters are now stuck in transit. Tracking stops the day after I sent them from this PO. Supervisor at this PO "April" said in a quite condescending manner that they do not guarantee a delivery date (or apparently an actual delivery) and there is nothing they can do. She said to contact the receiving office - who said to contact the office where I made the purchase. Really? I get that things get misplaced sometimes but nothing anyone can do? I can't even get a refund until 21 days. Use FedEx if you need something actually delivered. read more
