When I offered to pay, he kindly declined, saying it was simply extra material he keeps for situations like this. I returned again for additional pieces, and he once more went above and beyond to make sure everything was secure. I later learned Abel is the owner, which made his generosity and hands-on approach even more impressive. I'm so happy that there was a UPS Store in Waimea town!…read more Driving from Kailua-Kona to Honoka'a, then making my last stop in Waimea, upon having lunch at the Parker Ranch Food Court, I noticed this UPS Store just a few doors down from the food court. Being that I had (5) boxes of broken parts I needed to send back state side, this UPS Store sure was a lifesaver! As I walked into the store I asked one of the clerks if I could borrow a hand truck, that way I could load up all my (5) boxes & bring it into the store one crack! I must say the staff here was friendly, and more than accommodating. The service here was efficient, as the clerk processed my (5) boxes quickly. One of my boxes wasn't packed up yet, as I ran out of shipping tape, but the nice thing about coming to this UPS Store is that they sold shipping supplies. I purchased a small roll of shipping tape, and I gotta say it was sorta pricey, but the convenience factor reflects the price you pay here. If I'm working in Waimea again, it's nice to know that there's a UPS Store here, that way it saves me a trip from having to go down to Kailua-Kona, or to Pahoa town.

Of coarse I use the Flat Rate Priority boxes cause the post office gives you the boxes and it's a flat fee. When I ventured indoors the help has always been extremely courteous and helpful with my packages. Today I shipped a box on a Monday and it landed on Boston on a Thursday , a day ahead for what was noted on machine. Now that's service ladies & gentlemen. That's my update so take my advice use this location !
