Honestly though, I was getting pretty irritated with the 2 big pot holes by the parking entrance and exit but when I went today to mail out some packages and to check my po box, I was pleasantly surprised that they filled in those potholes. Pat is my favorite because she is always warm. There are others but I cannot remember their names but this is the reason I stay coming back. The location is very conveniently next to Tamura's and other surrounding businesses so I make sure to make a few stops on the way in. They always have so many priority mail boxes neatly organized outside so I get a few extras to take home so I can box up whatever I need before I get to the post office. The customers are usually very nice too. As with most usps, it's pretty small inside and some people still kinda practice the "safe six" the line often goes out the door and other customers will hold door open for each other. This is the easiest location for me with guaranteed parking and quick lines. Not sure why the Kahului one get so busy but I DREAD going that one. The wailuku location looks and feels old but doesn't have the urine smell that the Kahului one has so I will continue coming here.

Of coarse I use the Flat Rate Priority boxes cause the post office gives you the boxes and it's a flat fee. When I ventured indoors the help has always been extremely courteous and helpful with my packages. Today I shipped a box on a Monday and it landed on Boston on a Thursday , a day ahead for what was noted on machine. Now that's service ladies & gentlemen. Let's begin with mail fraud. Ive had two separate physical checks sent to my address. As you can…read moresee, per the USPS website, my address is valid and I receive plenty of junk mail and other address-specific correspondences. Both checks were returned to sender and told "not a valid address." I have spoken with those senders and we have triple-checked our address....they are correct. The mail is sorted by a computer to be distributed to their specific routes/neighborhoods - I know this because I am close with former employees. So the ONLY time my checks were touched by human hands was by the carrier. So its determined by said carrier if the address is valid or not valid and this carrier ABSOLUTELY knows my address is valid because my partner is a former carrier for Makawao and knows the carrier personally - my partner was fired and after filed junction with the union for wrongful termination....there is a civil case pending. I get ALL of my other mail - but two official checks get sent and those are the ones that get returned? Both addresses check out? Personal grudge with current carrier? Thats beyond suspicious. And if you go on usps.com to file a complaint "Sorry, that service isnt available." This is a felony...that means when this comes to light, which I will definitely make sure it does (Yelp is just the beginning) I won't see people fired - I will see them charged.
