I still love this post office because it's central and close to all of the places I need to run errands at on my lunch breaks during the week. Honestly though, I was getting pretty irritated with the 2 big pot holes by the parking entrance and exit but when I went today to mail out some packages and to check my po box, I was pleasantly surprised that they filled in those potholes. This is still a great post office and they still have great employees. Check them out.

I did have an online account for said person but the website changed and I couldn't recreate a new log in. PARKING: There were 13 on-street, 1-hour parking stalls (which are never unoccupied) fronting the building, or a parking garage with supposedly high rates according to other reviewers. I forced my spouse to do a drop off & pick up! EXPERIENCE: Located on the first floor of One Main Plaza, security will escort you in while asking some safety questions. He then had me check in on the slow-responding kiosk which issued a ticket number, just like the DMV. The small office had an adequate amount of chairs and 8 windows. A TV screen showed called numbers but no chimes or alerts were sounded to get your attention, but the security guard, out of the goodness of his heart, would verbally announce the numbers and which window to go to. I was called in about 30 minutes which I thought was pretty quick judging by the amount of people waiting. The guy who helped me asked for a death certificate, which I had on my phone but I wasn't allowed to email it to them to see or print out. I did have a hard copy POA which he thankfully accepted along with a few security questions. 5 minutes later I had document in-hand! I think he knew my predicament and assisted me fully because he cared. Much appreciated and thank you! OVERALL: If you've had a bad experience here, I'm pretty sure you were partly to blame. I called the other which seemed like the name of a repair company and never got a call back. So I gave Island Gophers a call. I got a call back from the company and said they would let the repairman know and he would call me. I got a call from him the next morning and we set a time for late in the day. He came by and looked a the sofa and got into it finding the broken wood. He glued and supported both breaks and the sofa is better than new. The arm was loose when we got it several years ago. Now it is very solid. While he was here I asked him to look at part of my murphy bed that was broken. He had it fixed in about 20 minutes. A couch was part of that delivery which we asked the guys to put in our living room loft. The couch was all wrapped up with its cushions, and legs attached which were not padded or wrapped in any way. After banging around on the lower part of the staircase and trying to maneuver the couch around the small landing they gave up and told me it would be impossible to get up. I asked if they wouldn't consider removing the packaging/cushions/legs but they assured me that it wouldn't help. I signed for the couch and they left. I then unwrapped it, took the legs off etc. and when my 110lb wife got home we moved the couch upstairs and into position. I THEN noticed that there was a whole bunch of damage around the stairs and landing where the guys had tried to make the couch fit. so I took pictures and sent them to the furniture store with an aggrieved email describing the delivery. Well that was almost 2 weeks ago. there has been a lot of non communication and the store handed me off to Island Gophers and they have decided after an internal investigation that they are in no way at any fault. I am apparently out of luck. Of course this won't happen to ALL their customers, but beware if it happens to you!
