I filed a claim in April 25th its now may 14th. Still waiting. I don't trust this place. My parcel came delivered re taped. Like I said this is a felony charge. Federal offense prison. I'm not OK with this. You lost my trust. read more

Horrible! NO Aloha spirit at all! These people need re-training! Never a notice that a package has arrived AND will immediately send back to sender if their physical address of 770 Haiku Rd. is ALSO on the mailing address along with the "paid for" P.O. Box # ! The employees here are extremely unintelligent. Absolutely no work ethic. no one answers the phone. Packages are marked as Delivered but, somehow these people cannot find the packages. Most likely because 1) they're just really dumb or 2) they are criminals & stealing packages. read more

The worst post office on Maui. It's really unfortunate for the Haiku area. The drivers are probably the worst part. It's 50/50 if your packages will be delivered at all. They don't put slips in the mailbox. They lose important packages and letters, that I can see on informed delivery, all the time. The attitude of the workers is normally poor. The post office itself is terribly designed with very limited parking spots. It's always a hassle to get anything done. read more

Follow up: Amazon tracking indicated that item is being held at Ha`ikū post office for p/u. So after work (after 5pm), I went to check for a claim slip for item ordered. Of course, no Slip was placed in my PO box. The item ordered is expensive and important b/c when I first ordered it last year I received no slip but was notified by Amazon that it was ret'd damaged. Professionally & Ethically, if I am treated w/ hostility or damaged mail in the future hereafter it will be known as retaliation toward a customer. In regards, to others who have their parcels disappear or stolen do know your rights as you can report suspected mail losses to Postal Inspectors by calling 877-876-2455 or at www.uspis.gov. I came to the Post Office because of the mailman didn't deliver a box to my house. Im not sure why because he always does. I got a notidaction on my phone that I had a notice that I had to get a package that was supposed to be delivered. I looked in the mailbox for the package no notice I looked by my porch no notice I looked everywhere no notice. So on Monday I went to the post office the girl working the window was sweet. She asked for the last digits on my tracking number gave it to her and boom there was the box which could've been put in my mailbox.. I asked her why was there notice, she didn't know. The only reason I know is because I have the usps app. So it tells me everything. The people who work here at the post office are nice and helpful. I've gotten my passport here. read more

I read the negative reviews of this Post office and can only think it's from people that are recent arrivals to the Haiku community. If you stand back and look it's not difficult to see that Haiku has long ago out grown this facility. In spite of that the employees do there best to keep it running and do an excellent job. Yeah parking sucks, not the fault of the employees, somehow I've always found a place. Yeah the lines sometimes suck, what are you going to do when there are only 2 stations and oh yeah one might be doing Passports because it's one of the few on Maui that does! Give them a break, they do the best they can with the cards they are dealt. Personally I think they are the best in the country! read more

I'm disappointed that Saturday hours close at 11am yet my package isn't posted as ready for pickup until 1/2 hour before, meaning now I have to wait until MONDAY to retrieve an important package that is already being delivered a day late. The least you could do is put it in a parcel bin with a key in my mailbox so I don't have to wait 3 days. I'm sorry the postal service is being screwed from the top down, but there was an easy solution here. Also, we need Saturday afternoon hours please!!!!!!! read more

Been trying to call the post office for more than 3 hours now. No answer. Postman didn't leave a post slip explaining why a package I mailed was not delivered to the recipient in Haiku. The package has timely contents meant for a family member who can't physically get to the post office in person right now. It would be great if someone answered the call so I can ask why the post office chose to hold on to the package instead of deliver it, or if they can maybe try again. Also wrote to the postmaster Tom Cooley. It would be great if someone can help resolve this. read more

Wow! The Ha'iku Post Office definitely has much better customer service than some of the USPS locations here in the bay area. I did some errands here a day after we arrived. Although this post office is small, they get their job done quick and efficiently. Corey was very friendly and I couldn't believe some of the questions that customers asked in the lobby. The female clerk was nice and handled customers professionally as well. I didn't tell the clerks that my dad works here until a few minutes later. He has worked here for ~38 years and still counting. Yes, it's been that long. When I told them my name and my dad's name; they were surprised and we all started "cracking up/laughing". I am not being biased at all because they truly are much more efficient than some of the post offices in this area. A few months ago, I asked the clerk in the San Ramon post office about getting our passports and they were very curt and pointed to the applications. Uhhh..okay. Another time, I overheard the way the male clerk spoke to a family trying to get their passports. It was totally rude, condescending, and obnoxious. I felt so bad for them. I vowed to get my passports done when I went to Maui. I brought all of my original documents and when I got back home after our trip to Maui; my littles and I had our passports and original documents in the mail. Yay! I'm so excited! read more

I really like these folks! I used to have a P. O. Box at another post office on MAUI & it was on the bottom row. Two years of getting down on one knee to retrieve mail or crouch to peer in the tiny mail box. I asked for a p. o. Box @ eye level & the Haiku crew gave me one! They got my vote! They'll even GIVE you a strip of Scotch tape for a non-sticky envelope flap! That's right, I said give! A good crew in a country setting. Good on you, Haiku postal workers! read more

The best customer service I have ever had at a post office. The team working this location is happy and peppy. The customer, me! always greeted with a smile, maybe they find me amusing? I think not since I look like a grumpy old guy. It's so strange having lived all over the place and having to use the USPS here and there, that you would find such a nice post office, tucked away in a place overrun with hippies. The hippies must be rubbing off, wonder if it's a start to a revolution.
