Punctual and last-minute! Thanks, MCS, for helping me get rid of an old couch one day after contact.

MCS hauling delivered a large dumpster to our property and I filled it with 1.4 tons of green waste over 7 days. It would have been a lot more work to rent a truck and haul it to the dump in several loads. Mark was pleasant to work with and there were no surprises. Next time I have to do this I'll call him again for sure. read more

MCS Hauling Services - dumpster filled with 1.4 tons of green waste - Movers Near Me

While we moved 95% of our things out of our recently sold house, there were a few bulky, heavy items I refused to move due to lack of manpower. Enter MCS Hauling Services. EXPERIENCE: Naturally I jumped on Yelp and utilized the site's useful quote feature where it also sends the inquiry to multiple businesses if you wish. Long story short, MCS had the best rating out of everyone and responded quickly (next day). I got a quote of $190/hour with a minimum of 2-hours. Due to the location and size of the furniture that needed to be moved, my spouse asked the owner, Mark, if he could come by just to check everything out so we wouldn't be surprised with any additional fees (which there weren't any). He happily agreed, even driving to the furniture's final destination point to check out the location. We agreed to move everything on a specific date a few days down the road. A medium-sized box truck and four workers arrived 15-minutes early on moving day. Out of courtesy, they asked if we wanted their shoes on or off (it's a Hawaii thing!) Pieces were professionally wrapped with protective plastic with utmost care not to cause damage to walls, light fixtures, etc. I was very impressed with an ingenious arm strap that was used to lift and move a very heavy cabinet. I could picture me blowing out my back trying to lift it without leverage. Delivery was just as efficient as pick up. We called them a second time as we had a last minute move of a custom-built bed. Regardless of their 2-hour minimum, Mark was cool and charged us to the next 15-minute rather than the hour. Thanks, man! OVERALL: The high-rating is legit! Local, professional, efficient, trustworthy. Highly recommended moving company & crew! read more

There are no words to describe how incredible Mark and his MCS team are. I was on island helping my parents clean out a large space at our house in East Maui (big enough for a 4 car garage) that had accumulated about 30 years' worth of stuff, and trying to do it in just a few days. After I emailed through their website, Mark responded so fast, and was kind and professional the whole time. (For those of you who know what a physical AND emotional challenge it can be to clean situations like this, it is so worth it to have someone who actually cares about the customer!) He came out by himself to check things out a couple days before he brought his big truck out and made all of us feel at ease. Day of the clean out, Mark showed up with his crew right as scheduled and they worked HARD. They took so many things we didn't know how to get rid of -- I'm talking like 4 tractor lawnmowers, an old grill & propane tanks, and a 25 y/o water damaged freezer. All for LESS than what we would have paid in dumpster rental fees for the same sq. footage from Maui Disposal! Where they can recycle, they do (which I appreciate), even if it means taking it to another location. He even graciously offered to take some items we hadn't originally planned for, which was so awesome. It seems like good, licensed residential junk removal services are few and far between on this island, so if you happen to be on Yelp not knowing who to call like I was, take it from me, you will be well taken care of with MCS. (I made a Yelp acct just so I could write this! lol) Mahalo Mark and team! read more

Aloha, As the CEO for Arc of Maui County I contracted with MCS to relocate our office to a new building. The guys arrived on time and took great care with our equipment and were very friendly. I also hired MCS to handle a home move which included loading a 45' container with household goods including a vehicle. Not only did Mark and the guys do a great job they coordinated the trucker and tow truck needed to transport to and from the port and lift the vehicle into the container. Their price was very reasonable but there was no discount in the quality of work they provided. Every time I'd ask if they could fit one more thing into the container they happily took on the challenge. Overall MCS and their owner are a perfect example of the kind of small business professionalism that our country is built on! read more

I recently moved to Maui and had movers scheduled to move my furniture and they did not show up the day after halloween and did not even answer my calls. So I called MCS Hauling and they came right away to help me out. Marc and his crew are top notch professionals with reasonable rates and they show up when they say they will. I even used them the following week to move some more furniture into my condo and had the same great experience. I would highly recommend them. read more

Theses guys did a great job of cleaning up my lanai. Professional, fast. Got the job done!!! I highly recommend them.

We had MCS Hauling Service haul away old furniture and appliances from our old family house. Mark was very nice and efficient. He came over and provided us with an estimate. Very good price. The men showed up right on time and did a great job. They were all very nice and were done quickly. Great company. read more

Mark pulled up with his men and from the very beginning they worked diligently for two solid days. Mark is present on the move which makes all the difference. He organizes and directs his men so basically all you do is tell him what to move. It was the easiest time I have ever had with movers because he was there to manage and direct his men. We have used other Moving Companies and MCS Hauling is superior. We can't say enough good things because at the end of the move, because of their efficiency we even moved a storage unit and emptied it out and he neatly put it all back in the garage. We have never seen somebody who tried to keep everything in order too. So in the end we accomplished way more than we ever thought possible and we can't wait to organize the last part of our move with MCS Hauling. Another great thing is that he is very diverse and he is going to pick up a piece of heavy Pilates Equipment for me and bring it to my house and then take the boxes away. They are useful for a variety of things. read more

Mark (the owner) and Alex were great. Professional, skilled, in total control, with new equipment and clean-looking truck. Wrapped up items well and seemed to pack the truck well too. They worked efficiently, and our small local residential move (Kula to Wailuku) took only 2.5 hours, including transport between our 2 homes. Plus they have a fixed travel fee, which all-in-all made them the best rate we found. Highly recommend, and we will not hesitate to use them again! read more

We've used MCS Hauling for 2 jobs, as they are one of the few businesses on island that don't have a minimum for moving, and they were able to fit us in on short notice. They were extremely professional, respectful of our time, and careful with our items. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you, Mark & staff- you guys saved our butts time and time again. You'll be hearing from us for a big old clean up soon :) read more

Very professional, efficient, reliable and hard working! My husband and I were extremely satisfied with with their service. They moved all our bulky items from our third floor apartment without a complaint or rest (we don't have an elevator). Nothing was damaged as they carefully wrapped our easily dented/scratched items. They also moved a heavy dining table from our storage. I highly recommend MCS Hauling and would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

Mark and his crew are the best movers I have used in a long time. I highly recommend them when moving on Maui. Mark gave me an accurate quote by email. He showed up on time and dressed in professional looking uniforms. They took good care of my furniture and household goods. The move was very fast and came in under what I was expecting from the quote. They were very professional yet super friendly and helpful. I needed to put a bed skirt on my bed and they made sure it was perfect. They also helped with a stacker washer dryer that wasn't hooked up properly. I will use them again in the future. read more

Mark and his crew were very courteous and professional, and they picked up my 3 (very heavy) old generators with amazing efficiency and loaded them into a special trailer. His vehicles are immaculate! Mark was on top of the communication from the getgo, which I really appreciated. I assumed I would have to follow him to Hammerhead Metals to pay the bill, since they are the only facility which accepts generators and they charge for them. But Mark gave me a very fair quote upfront which covered Hammerhead's fee in addition to Mark disposing the three batteries at another facility and removing the gasoline and properly disposing that as well! I wish I could give him six stars. He and his crew are a class act. read more
