I moved back to Maui from Oahu in April and Ka'u and Michael were fantastic! They picked up my belongings from the shipping container at the harbor and were communicative about arrival time. It had just rained Ka'u suggested putting down cardboard so mud wasn't tracked into my home. Ka'u showed real leadership qualities, and was kind, thoughtful, and very helpful. They even put my bed frame back together for me. Overall, excellent team and very professional!! I would recommend Wailea movers to anyone, and specifically ask for Ka'u, he's a gem!! read more

I had a great experience with Wailea Movers! The team was incredibly friendly, professional, and made the entire process stress-free. They took extra care when packing my belongings, and everything was wrapped and protected exceptionally well. It was clear they treated my items as if they were their own. Once the items arrive safely I will provide an update. Mahalo! read more

I was this teams last move of the day. Ka'u & Dan still showed up with plenty of energy and smiling faces. I instantly noticed Ka'u's quality to attention and making sure the job was done correctly, demonstrating supervisor qualities. Both Ka'u and Dan showed professionalism & personalization while efficiently moving my belongings. The speed at which they moved my items made it much cheaper than the quote. Wailea Movers and Storage - The ultimate 2 man team - Movers Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

We contacted Wailea Movers because we needed a dependable and experienced company to accommodate our move from Hawaii to California. Daniela was very professional and friendly to deal with and even though a 3rd party warehouse was giving us the runaround which would delay the pick up, she was on them and didn't let them breathe for a minute. Our customer was very happy with the service all round. Highly recommend Wailea Movers as Daniela and her team will go the distance for you and your wallet. read more

10/10 service 10/10 communication These guys are the way to go when moving to Maui. We moved 3 fully packed PODS from California to Maui. They went to the port and unloaded our stuff on to their trucks and brought it over to our place. It was easy to schedule, they were really careful with our furniture and boxes and they were quick and so friendly. We could not have asked for better moving experience. You hear all these stories about terrible movers and they are the opposite and set the standard for sure. Extra Mahalo to Tom and David who did our move. read more

A few weeks ago during my trip to Hawaii I had to help my friend to find a local moving company in preparation for her move to California (pack some boxes, throw away some furniture). Wailea movers were the first to respond and I liked their customer services approach. Their price structure seemed reasonable so we hired them right away. The movers showed up on time and worked efficiently. I really liked the quality of the service and would use them again in the future. Roman read more

I had a great experience with Wailea Movers. Daniela was responsive, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. She kept me informed, answered all of my questions promptly, and made everything easy from start to finish. I really appreciated the excellent customer service and would definitely recommend Wailea Movers to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company. Thank you, Daniela, for making the experience smooth and stress free! read more

We used this company for a move. They charged premium prices by promising that our own container to our home to be delivered and intact house to house. They sent instead a moving truck. Did no exact inventory, missed about 1/4 of the kitchen, necessitating another visit, they folded two mattresses that are by manufacturer Not foldable. Crew argued with me about this then finally googled it and said " I guess you are right". When asked to correct this they said it would be done after a 20 minute drive to their storage facility. Next day I called, it was still not done. They lost an entire large box containing most of my Tupperware covers and storage bins for the kitchen, and refuse to acknowledge this nearly three months since the move. Told us on the days of the move 'just file a claim.' We did that using their process and are still denying it the claim. Will report to BBB next. Stay away from this company! read more

I had an amazing experience with Wailea Movers! Moved from Seattle to Hawaii and they took care of everything from start to finish. Everything arrived on time with no damages. I was extremely happy with the services and impressed how they operated. If anyone needs movers around the islands, local or long distance, these are your people. Thank you for making this big major move seamless for me! read more

Kau and Rico were great! Everything was done perfect. Thank you! I will definitely recommend these guys for other people.

We had 3 moving companies recommended for our recent move from the mainland to Maui. We chose Wailea Movers and Storage for a number of reasons starting with our first interaction with company. Edward answered the phone with a very positive attitude and knew how to answer all of our questions. He set up a video review of our existing home and discussed the details of everything that needed to be moved. Our logistics coordinator, Daniela, was absolutely fantastic. She found top notch companies to crate our treasured artwork, an amazing team of packers who treated our belongings and property with care and a trucking company who sent an amazing driver to bring in the 45 foot shipping container into a tight driveway and turn around. Our container arrived ahead of schedule. Once here we had some items delivered to where we are renting until we can buy a house. Until then, they are storing a majority of our items at their storage facility. Everything has gone smooth thanks to all the highly capable and customer focused folks involved in what I think was a complicated move. I highly recommend Edward and his team at Wailea Movers and Storage. read more

This company was very professional all the way through the process. The office (Edward) was always available by phone and in person and patiently answered our many questions each time we called. The moving crew (Kahu, Malik, Alan, and Riko) were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. They did a great job loading our 40 foot container with nothing damaged. The piano moving part of the move was difficult and the team had the foresight to call in extra help for that part of the job. read more

I had an excellent experience with Wailea Movers. I needed to move several heavy items on short notice and they gave me an "A" team the very next day. Alan, Riko, Malique, and Ka'u were terrific -- professional, fast, careful and enthusiastic. well done and Mahalo! read more

After surviving the devastating West Maui Wildfires, our family was forced to relocate across the country. Wanting to support a struggling local community, we chose Wailea Movers, believing a local company would handle our move with care and integrity. Unfortunately, we couldn't have been more wrong. From the start, Wailea Movers was unprofessional--showing up without enough boxes to pack our inventoried belongings and with staff openly requesting gratuities. Upon delivery, we found many of our remaining items damaged, and after cataloging $4,500 in missing and broken belongings, we were immediately directed to their insurance company. Once our payment cleared, the owners refused to communicate with us directly. After four exhausting months of jumping through endless hoops, we received an insulting settlement offer of just $69. When we pleaded with the owners to at least meet us halfway and help make our family whole, we were ignored. Instead, their insurance company informed us to stop contacting Wailea Movers, making it clear that their decision wouldn't change. For a local business to treat a local family this way--especially in the wake of such a tragedy--is nothing short of appalling. Wailea Movers has demonstrated a complete lack of integrity, professionalism, and basic human decency. I would not recommend this company to anyone on Maui or beyond. They do not stand by their customers, their work, or their community. read more

Worst movers ever! I've used Wailea Movers at least a handful of times. We had a move scheduled back in March 2023. On the morning of the move, Wailea Movers called and said they couldn't do the job anymore. We had to scramble to find another moving company at the last minute. It was also highly stressful and costly, as my wife was five months pregnant, and we had to pay a premium and do the packing ourselves. Despite that last-minute cancellation, I gave Wailea Movers a second chance last year in 2024. Most of the furniture arrived damaged, plus many missing items mixed with other people's belongings. On top of that, Wailea Movers overcharged me. Moving Claim Service used by Wailea Movers to handle our $14,000 claim is useless. Their claim process is inconsistent, blaming us for the delays. Our claim has still not been resolved after 4 months! read more

I would absolutely not use this company for moving and storage! I just received my furniture out of being stored for two months and it is completely destroyed. My three brand new linen beds have holes in the corners and dirt all over the frame. My brand new custom chair has a broken foot and a huge scratch down the side. Four side dressers all have chipped legs. My dresser has two gauges. My adjustable frame has a tear. They lost several boxes with my dishes. What did they do?? This is unbelievable! I did not receive a phone call with any "We are so Sorry" Nothing!! They do not live up to their slogan of We are a #1 rated MAUI Moving Company offering premier moving and storage services. read more

Great company. Guys pack stuff carefully and mark boxes with fragile items. Definitely will used again

Our tenant hired this company to move out and they did over $8K in damage to our like new hardwood floors, admitted that they did it, gave us a huge run around with what appeared to be their insurance company (but wasn't), and now we're having to sue them to collect. We live in Lahaina and are in the process of moving to Oahu for work due to the fires and have spent untold hours trying to get this handled. Good thing my wife is born and raised in Maui and is friends with the mayor and knows the top lawyers. Read their negative Google reviews. Unbelievable. I recently spoke with a former client who is suing because they "lost" her $40K painting during a move. Shame on Wailea Movers...especially after what we've been through in Lahaina. Maybe it's time for the Maui News to do some investigative journalism on your business. read more

Outstanding. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced. Can't believe I actually considered moving myself. Honestly my only regret was that I didn't call these guys earlier. Having several professional movers made all of the details so simple. The guys took down my television mounts, rehung doors that I had taken off my closet, were gentle with my houseplants, carefully wrapped every dish and picture frame in my home and saw them placed exactly where I needed them in my new apartment. My dressers got plastic wrapped and draped in blankets before going out of the room and nothing got scratched on the way out. The whole process was really professional and organized. Booking on the phone with James I had a very clear idea of what to expect and what prices were. I got a phone call from the manager, Mike, the morning of the move and text messages on my phone notifying me of the moving crews departure from their base yard. All I really did was explain what I wanted moved and what stayed in the rental unit. I thought I was doing myself a favor buying a bunch of boxes and starting the pack all my own stuff. These guys just did it much quicker and more professionally than I could do it myself. read more

I had a move from maui to El Paso this year. when the shipment got here there was missing items and dammage to several items including an antique dresser. they sent me the forms for the insurance and after I waited almost 3 months I was told they were only going to pay less than 10% of the items damage repairs and replacement. I could never get the person at wailea moving to call me back and the insurance company said the movers were not liable for damage or missing items and I should have gotten additional insurance. I do not recommend this moving company, go with a more reputable company. read more
