If you show up and need tape, a box, or ask them to print something for you, it costs them money. This stuff adds up especially when 100's of people show up and only need 3" of tape - or need to just print one thing. Show up with a good attitude, be prepared and be willing to pay for things that cost them money and you'll be happy as a clam. If you show up (like ALL 3 people ahead of me did that needed this, they needed that, they needed their label printed, their box taped, etc) and expecting them to do it for free with an attitude - well...- Was the lady at the counter slightly annoyed -- maybe -- not as annoyed as I was watching everyone show up unprepared. She has patience, trust me. Come on people be reasonable -- no one's getting rich at The UPS Store.

I think I talked to Sherri on the phone. She was nice and polite. She confirmed that I could drop off my golf clubs there for FedEx pickup. I drop over there and dropped off my clubs without any issues. I was worried that they didn't pick up my clubs yet since I didn't get any notifications for pickup delivery but my clubs were picked up and shipped to me in the mainland before I landed.

I packed everything in bubble wrap and boxed it and and MSP took care of the rest, showing me pricing for different types of delivery, making sure everything was labelled correctly with fragile and this side up stickers, and they even had tape when I ran out. We quickly realized this would be a potential nightmare, likely leading to much frustration, and worse, damage to our acquisitions. We found a local Lahaina resident who referred us to Volcano Crators and they did it all. The person referring them clearly had full faith, so we just went with it. We left the two paintings where we bought them, and shortly after we got home, the well-packed box arrived....no muss, no fuss. Great packing, excellent customer service & communication, and our art made it home without any negotiating on planes, baggage fees, having our delicate purchases tossed around by those lovely folks that have broken all of our suitcases, or fighting to fit them in the cabin. The shipping process is very efficient and the workers at the shipping site are friendly. You do need to call ahead to book a shipping appointment, but from there on, it's an easy process to drop off your vehicle and pick it up at the destination point. Shipping is quick and I got a call from Young Brothers the next morning after each shipping, letting me know my car was ready for pickup. When we went to pick up my car in Kahului, the battery was dead (the parking lights got left on inadvertently), and they immediately sent someone over to give us a jump start. After you ship your car, if you care about your paint job, I do recommend you get a good car wash asap to rinse off the salt (I have a review of the place we liked in Kahului). If you have a reason to ship your vehicle interisland, if you do your legwork in advance (check the website, make a call), you're going to have a smooth and easy experience with Young Brothers.
