The worst place of service is at this post office. In person, they are so pleasant, but behind the counter, they are just the opposite. Can never get someone to answer the phone, or if they do, they leave you unattended forever. Packages are lost for months, and some letters never make it! Complaints are never addressed; they just give an email response saying "handled" or "corrected", but it isn't. read more

I was very disappointed to learn that the Bellevue, Idaho and Hailey, Idaho post offices were closed at 12:00 on 12/31. After noting that Bellevue was closed, I drove to Hailey to get my mail stamped, only to find it was also closed. I do not recall 12/31/24 as a Federal Holiday. As a business owner, I needed some things postmarked 12/31/24 and figured since 12/31 is NOT a Federal Holiday they would be open to serve the public. So does the mail I put in the box get postmarked the 31st or is it just too bad? I would like an answer regarding this. read more

My packages are either mis delivered constantly or they end up saying I requested a hold and to come pick up. I never request a hold for pick up because I work during there open hours. I am sick and tired of the staff and there bad attitudes. Everyone is short staffed and we all make work with a smile on our face. I wish we could choose how we want some shipped when we make orders because I would never use the post office. read more

I think Hailey PO know why they get 1*. Local mail lady (Grey/silver 4 Runner) drives WAY too fast up Greenhorn Road - just dangerous! Packages are rarely delivered (cards left saying 'PO Box is full' when it's not, mail delivered to wrong address, boxes left on entry gate mid-winter etc) meaning numerous visits to the PO with serious attitude from one female worker there. Ketchum PO are wonderful & I give them all 5*, Sun Valley PO are fantastic too - it's just Hailey PO who are terrible. read more

In the past month I visited the Hailey US post office and both times the teller was wildly inappropriate and unkind. After a customer with a child would leave the post office she would Loudly complain about the patron and their child to the remaining patrons in line. In both cases, the children were well behaved, maybe a little louder than an adult but as an on looker, the children were pretty good. They didn't break anything or hurt anyone. Speaking poorly about a patron is unkind, unnecessary and completely unprofessional. Children are learning about their world and how it works. The post office is a vital part of our country, it's important that children be welcome at the post office and that they are encouraged to visit the post office so that they know how it works. The clerk was not wearing a name tag but her cranky disposition helps her stand out from her much kinder coworkers. My receipt says she is Clerk 05. So Clerk 05 if you can't say something nice, keep it to yourself. Speaking poorly about someone who is not present or able to defend themselves is insulting, inappropriate and unkind. The Post office is a federal establishment, and needs to be run as such. read more

my package was delivered a day ago in the past it would be in my P.O. Box the next day. I walked in to and hear the worker in her phone in the back and not doing her job some of the laziest workers ever. they always say they are short staffed it's more like they hire the laziest people around. I ask the desk worker if she could get me my package i had shipping number and the day it was delivered with me and she still wouldn't get me my package. this post office is terrible they need to learn some work ethic and customer service skills read more

Due to staffing issues in early 2023, the local post office has altered their hours ( see photos of small signs posted near que inside) but has not changed the schedule online or on their phone system. Even the outer doors have the old hours with no note about the update, so be forewarned if arriving early, late, or at lunch. This is a classic bureaucratic mess apparently due to under funding and perhaps aggravated by a not very well thought agreement with UPS/ Amazon to deliver packages. The workers there are trying hard with limited resources, which must be discouraging. read more

I have not received my home delivery for 8 days. went I. twice and was treated so rude. the people they brought in to assist for a few days were wonderful. 8 days of no service is a crime. I need my bill statements, new glasses and passport. the lady that works there long term just says, I cannot help you and explains nothing. I will send UPS and FedEx from now on. explain this to me. I realize you are understaffed but what is really behind this. she told me to quit coming into post office, we cannot help you. Worst service ever. The lady's that work at the front office are extremely disrespectful and rude. They don't help you what so ever and tell you "that's not my problem", when it's literally there job. read more
