She emanates passive aggressive "I hate my job" energy and ends up taking out her frustration on customers. Most post offices staff will accept mail at the window, but this one employee asks customers to walk back towards the entrance and utilize the mail slot. I'm mailing out a package and letters, just accept my mail! Like other reviewers have mentioned, I've also observed this employee go to the back room to text on her phone while her poor co-worker has to pick up the slack! The condition of the post office is also very messy and it could use a sweeping (see photo).

If you have the slightest question or confusion they castigate and berate you in front of everyone. They lack common decency or courtesy. The interior itself is a shambles too. For example: with many credit card machines, you can insert your card at any time during the transaction. However, with their machine, you have to wait. There is NO INDICATION of this anywhere, until the clerk yells at you that "I didn't tell you to put it in!" You see, it's your fault you are bothering them, and not following their ridiculous protocol, and thus disrupting their way of work. Or if you have to wait in line to get the label & envelope - which should be stocked in the lobby - you get yelled at if you ask if you should return to the end of the line again or simply wait until you're done addressing and closing the envelope you would have completed already IF THEY DID THEIR JOB AND STOCKED THE LOBBY. The easiest solution is to de-unionize the USPS so that employees are answerable to the customer and to performance rather than let loose to their own laziness and lack of upbringing.

She not only advised me on which service to use to ship my items with, but also went above and beyond in making sure I had everything correct and completed before I mailed it in. I was also impressed with how the post office thought to set up a desk by the door earlier this year to expedite the service. I was even able to make my payment there, and quickly at that. I see this as a sign for good things to come as the USPS continues to modernize and improve their service!
