I was supposed to receive an Amazon package on Sunday. Tracking showed it was out for delivery at 8:09am. Waited around all day and at 6:49pm got an email from Amazon saying the package was delayed due to "delivery attempted, but front door or driveway was not accessible". My driveway was plowed and there was just a dusting of snow, so there was no reason the driver couldn't get to my front door! This is very frustrating. I wait all day and don't get the package I needed. I can't imagine there are that many package deliveries in this area on a Sunday that it would take a driver all day and then they still don't deliver it. I called the main USPS number and was told it was now showing deliver on Wednesday 3 days late! Unbelievable. Was giving the direct number to this location and nobody answers. We deserve better in this area! read more

The service is not reliable. It's not uncommon to not have mail delivered or picked-up. They never answer the phone, ever. It's been that way for at least 17 years. They sat on a package that I mailed out of Forest Lake for 3 months. I went back several times to ask them to look for it as it's listed as not sent, they said nope, not here. It was there all along according to tracking. When you get a notice that a package is waiting for you to pickup and you go there they never have it. Then they tell you it's being delivered. Then you get a notice at your mailbox that you have to pickup again. It's like a game. It makes zero sense. read more

Barb at the forest lake post office was very rude for no reason. :( All the other workers have been very nice.

I was expecting a package that needed a confirmed signature. I watched the mailman pull up and as he did I got a notice it was delivered. I ran outside as no one had come to our door. I asked him about the package! Lie 1: He said he never delivered my package nor any packages that day. Lie 2: He proceeded to back up and check previous mailboxes and told me sorry no package. Lie 3: He got out of his truck and checked front , sides and back looking for my package... no package. At this point I was very frustrated. This was an important package that we had been waiting for. Still he insisted he never saw the package. I then pulled up the delivery confirmation and it said it had been delivered and signed by my neighbor. Lie 4: He said he never delivered it I ran to my neighbors house but no one was home. So who signed for it. At this point I knew he lied to me. I told him I wanted to see inside my neighbors mail box. He ran to the box protecting it and I warned him I would call the postmaster if he didn't open it. Lie 5: He insisted again there was no package. But when I started to open it he decided to open it and there lay a package with my name on it. I asked who signed for it and instead of answering he ran for his truck and said he must be dyslexic. Well 15 mins later I got a confirmation of delivery which had 3 straight lines as delivery signature. Lie 6: He signed the delivery confirmation but never delivered it. The next day I went to the Forest Lake Post Office and explained what happened. He checked the delivery confirmation and said it should never have happened. He assured me that the postmaster would call me. Crickets!!!! The lying postman was in his 20's blondish brown hair (short) and about 5'9. We live on the West side of hwy 35 and South of Broadway. I always had a lot of trust in the post office but I now have a new view. As in most service jobs they don't seem to care... so beware if he is your postman also. NO apology ever was given from him or the post office. He delivered lie after lie but no package. read more

It's funny when you have informed delivery and know you have a certified letter coming on a Saturday and then watch the mail carrier deliver your mail to the box and then drive on. Walked to the mailbox to find the "sorry we missed you" note and you can pick it up Monday. ‍ read more

I mail quite a few packages throughout the year and stumbled upon this PO location by accident. I was headed out fishing and this was on my way. Now I go out of my way to use this location. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They have helped me find the best way to ship and even provided a box when it turned out to cost less. The other benefits easy parking and short or no wait times compared to the other location I had been using. read more

Paid for 2 day ship priority mail. Its been 4 days and no delivery. They claim they do not guarrenty 2 day ship?? WTF why should you buy 2 day service if it takes a week. DO NOT GO TO THIS USPS. Use UPS at least they guarrenty delivery. Will no longer use the postal service. I have all so filed a complaint with the Attorney General. read more

We became a customer of this Post Office almost a year ago. They are pathetic. Undelivered mail, lost registered mail, undelivered package with a reason given that was a blatant lie, irregular mail delivery, and on and on and they never get any better. The thing they are best at is making excuses for the latest error which this time was not restarting our mail after a vacation stop. Last time they didn't stop it when requested. Sadly there is no one there who really cares at least that I have talked to. read more

Called on a Friday for a new mailbox key and lock. They said it it would be done by Monday afternoon. I stopped by on Tuesday to pick it up and they said its not done but we'll call you when it is. It is now Wednesday night, they are closed and still no access to my mail. My family has had issues here with an address change and all of the mail continuously going to the old house. read more

We had a package coming from amazon that was being delivered by the post office. The package said it was delivered but was not on our door step. So we called amazon and the post office and the post office (Denis) said that it was scanned in wrong and delivered to a PO box when no where in our address do we have a PO box. You then proceeded to tell us we could pick the package up from you guys directly and when we got there Denis said he couldn't find the package and we needed to go back through amazon. You lied over the phone to us and to amazon and had extremely rude customer service from you and the Mexican female you were working with. It's rude to roll your eyes at customers who are following what you instructed us to do when you didn't even bother looking for our package in the first place. At least amazon has GREAT customer service and is refunding us but as for you pathetic low life's we will be using a relatives address to receive our important packages now and not through you. Your post office is the most disappointing customer service. read more
