Today however this group could not have been less cordial. Especially the Store manager. I've been having issue with my packages to being actually delivered and I usually don't mind routing them here, but having poor attitudes is just the icing on the Proverbial cake of bad experiences.

I went here today (for the 4th time this summer) to ship an extra large item at the request of an Ebay buyer. I was shipping a super huge, 44 pound antique radio using the buyer's account number. Should be simple, right? Wrong! Quinn is gone and the new manager made my experience miserable. When I asked her why the last 3 times were totally different she told me she "wasn't going to argue with me" and that she's training a new person and they're going to do it right this time! So my last 3 times were done wrong? It seemed good to me. How about some consistent policies? I felt like I should have my attorney sitting next to me when I was listening to her carefully worded tap dance, explaining to me who is liable for what, who they consider the actual shipper, etc. etc. etc. Just please don't smash my stuff! I miss Quinn. This new woman should get a new job where she doesn't deal with customers. I left with a headache. -Daddy Maxx Retro

I baught a refurb washer and dryer 3 weeks ago signed a contract stating I'd not be able to refund my purchase which should have been my first red flag. Paid for delivery and waited for my unit to show up. Delivery went fine except for the delivery team taking an old drain hose I needed for my washer. I knew this was an honest mistake but when I called to get my hose back they said they'd call their manager and then call me back. They never called back... I called multiple times trying to get this hose back and finally resorted to "asking for a manager." To my surprise A1 appliance explained to me that they "don't really have a manager" this was the second red flag. I did get referred to the delivery manager (I guess they have managers now) Alfredo who drove in to the store to confirm that the hose was on the delivery truck. I requested this hose be returned to me since I paid for delivery service but he refused. He said I could "pick it up at the store." I'm expected to drive in using my gas after paying for a delivery service that made a mistake. No one offered to comp my gas or time and so I again requested to speak to a manager. Instead they have Lisa who's not a manager but her role is to "handle complaints" I imagine they get a lot. She never called me back but I did finally track her down after calling and explaining the situation at least 5 times. Meanwhile i set up my refurbished washer only to discover that it doesn't work plus it smells bad but that's besides the point. Lisa was apologetic claiming she would send someone out to drop off the hose which a kind man named Greg did that day. She also connected me to the service department that sent out a technician. She had spotty communication but things appeared to move forward. He worked on the washer machine and told me to reach out if there were any more problems. I tried the washer machine the next day and it still didn't work. I called back in and left a message with Lisa. She again never called me. I called her days later she answered said that they would exchange this unit for something else but they wouldn't do a return for me. I just want to be done at this point so I agree but explain that based on the lack of quality communication, service, and management I didn't want to risk purchasing another used machine from them. She said I could get an unused machine but I'd have to pay more. I asked that after 2 weeks of back and forth and multiple disappointment is there any way they'd be willing to exchange this unit for a new one which based on the "sale" was a $300 difference. The sales department explained the only person who could authorize a discount was Lisa. She said she'd take $50 off the price and I now need to pay $250 more and hope that there aren't any more issues. I know no one really believes "the customer is always right" but at this point you do what you can to make a customer happy even if you loose $250. I don't trust their ability to repair anything or follow through so i feel stuck. I just want the nightmare to be over. Ive been unable to do laundry for 3 weeks playing phone tag spending close to $1000 and the "discount" just isn't worth it. I waited to post this hoping for someone to actually try to make this right but now I need to tell the story. Don't waste your time! If you have a little issue YOU have to fix it. If you have a big issue... good luck. Most importantly... no refunds.

I buy a new pair of Haflingers every year or every other year and in the summer love their Think sandals. They also have a cute selection of boutique style clothing and accessories. You are going to pay over $80.00 but they only carry the best brands and honestly there service is how it used to be. One of A kind place! Just bought a very cool sweater/jacket.

While…read morethey said they didn't have the specific shoe I was looking for, they said they had a variety of shoes in size 12 so my folks and I made the haul up there (it was my birthday and they were in town from a few states away...they wanted to buy me something and I needed a few replacement pairs of shoes). There were several sales people on the floor helping other people. I went to the sale rack first and then asked an older lady if they had Vionics in size 12. She said no. When I had called they had implied that they had other Vionic styles in twelves so i thought that was weird. I grabbed the loafer I wanted and waited for another rep thinking she just misunderstood me. The next woman was more helpful, but the situation still wasn't ideal. I tried on a pair of Danskos that were an EU 42 but that is really just an 11.5. (Eyes Dansko from across an ocean...) If we're being honest here, I think there were no actual size twelves in the store, they didn't want to look, or they didn't know how to look. I asked her what she had in the store that came in a 12, but she wanted me to go around the store and point to individual shoe styles and say "How about this one? How about this one? How about this one?" Listen...I'm 42 years old. I know that 99% of the time the answer is going to be "no...we don't have that in a 12." I have 30 years of shoe buying trauma built up, I don't need that in my life on my birthday. So when I ask what styles you have in a size 12? I know there are probably going to be like six of them tops. And if there are more that is AMAZING but SAY so, have it written down somewhere. Take me to the computer and let's look up your inventory by SIZE so you can show me what you have in stock TODAY. (((It's why I'm here and not on zappos.))) Don't waste my time and make me feel like I don't belong. Especially when you brag about having extended sizes. And telling me you can order those Vionics? Not helpful. Because I can do that too. I'm there because your website made me feel like I might've able to try on shoes like a regular person...in a store. NOPE. Happy birthday to me. Sigh.
