Get here early since lines can get quite long, especially during holidays! If you're just looking for stamps, there is a self-service machine on the left right when you walk in. A book of 20 stamps costs $11 and international stamps cost $1.50 each. They have multiple drop boxes if you don't want to wait in line. Note that if you accidentally drop off a USPS package here, they will send it off to the correct office, but it will take a while.

The workers at this post office are super nice, especially the older man working here who is so gracious and made sure everyone in line had their needs met. If you need something mailed or check in on a status of your item, I recommend going in person. Also, go earlier in the day when they open to avoid long lines.

If you're off by any amount watch out, they add up more to get money out of you. No wonder people are fed up with the Postal Service.

Very nice and helpful employees. I drive from Galt just to drop my packages off here. The Galt one sucks.

We waiting about 1.5 hours with 4 people (non appointment) ahead of us. Although plenty of people who did have appointments came in between. Spoke to another customer and they stated that it was a hit or miss. There are times where there's no wait vs a long wait. We expedited our passport. We received it very quick, probably a week after.

They accept walk-ins but not sure how quickly the line goes. I had an appointment at 5PM on a Monday and the waiting room was packed when I arrived at 4:45PM. I was called back by 4:55PM for my appointment, bypassing the walk-ins. 2) Application - there are passport applications in the waiting area but I printed and filled mines out prior. 2a) Documents - Have the original copies of your supporting documents signed and ready. I made photocopies prior but they made new copies for me (so you don't necessarily have to make copies beforehand) 2b) Fees - Make sure to double check the application instructions and fees accordingly so you can prepare a check/money order for the passport. Passport photos were $15 which is a good deal compared to Fedex/Staples which is closer to $18-$19? And it's convenient to just have them take it and attach to the application. USPS charges $35 processing fee. I paid with a credit card but had my debit card/checkbook just in case. 3) Track - I received an email ~ 5 days later saying my application was received and received my passport in the mail ~ 2 weeks after my appointment (not expedited). Was told that supporting documents arrive in the mail a few weeks after you get your passport. Located in a smaller parking lot but not difficult to find parking. The passport office is to the right of the USPS main entrance. Hope this helps!

I visited this USPS location to ship a small package and had a frustrating experience overall…read more The clerk initially told me I needed to pay around $55 for the shipment and sounded very certain about it. However, his coworker overheard the conversation and corrected him, explaining that the USPS First Class/Priority option for small packages in the ~$10-$22 range was acceptable instead. There were also multiple errors when entering my address information to create shipping label. It took about four attempts before everything was finally correct. What made the interaction more frustrating was that the clerk partially blamed my handwriting, even though I wrote everything clearly in capital letters. In fact, some words were entered correctly on earlier attempts but incorrectly on later ones, while different mistakes appeared in other fields. That made it clear the issue was not my handwriting, but repeated data-entry errors during the transaction. I remained polite and cooperative throughout the interaction, so it was disappointing that there was no acknowledgment or simple apology for the inconvenience after the repeated errors and confusion. Overall, the issue was eventually resolved, but the experience lacked accuracy, communication, and professionalism. 3 stars.

I mean the staff is courteous and helpful for the most part, when you come in, but the wait is horrible. There is usually only one, sometimes two, people at the counter with a long line to wait. So, don't come here if you're looking to get in and out. Be prepared to wait at minimum 15 minutes or more. I just say, after repeated visits and being told, "I'll pull your address so it gets done soon," for almost 6 months, did not make experiences at this location feel good.

Passport customer review ( current customer reviewer 05.20.2026 regarding counter service agrees 100%) Being from Stockton, my local post office was booked months out with passport services. I looked up nearby offices and found this one is Isleton, with much sooner dates. I visited here on Wednesday, 10/19/22 to apply for my mother's passport. Laura was very sweet and made the process very smooth. She even took a wonderful 2x2 for my mother as well. Coming here was worth the 30-minute drive. We would return here for sure.
