I always have a pleasant experience visiting my local post office. Staff here are always so kind and informative. Unsure about the bad reviews of this location, but I would say, to keep in mind that we are all hardworking people! I have always been treated with the upmost respect and professionalism if I'm picking up packages or shipping out! Like any other business, there are times where foot traffic is heavy and service may be slow. However, I find myself swiftly in and out of the building every time with prompt service! I came immediately after work. Whoever the man at the counter is extremely rude and disrespectful. I got here at 4:58 there were 2 other people in line. I politely asked if I could get in line and he was extremely rude. And to make it worse, after I left I watched him accept two more parcels and people after me. Get here early since lines can get quite long, especially during holidays! If you're just looking for stamps, there is a self-service machine on the left right when you walk in. A book of 20 stamps costs $11 and international stamps cost $1.50 each. They have multiple drop boxes if you don't want to wait in line. Note that if you accidentally drop off a USPS package here, they will send it off to the correct office, but it will take a while. read more

The worst customer service I've ever had. I swear if I didn't need my mail I'd never go there again. I called and it rang for more that 45 minutes called back and still no answer and a very rude little Asian guy behind the counter when I went to pick my mail up he had a very bad attitude. I've been going to this post office and having my mail delivered from here, for over 10yrs. I've not ever had any issues from my mail carrier or anyone inside post office. My carrier regularly delivers part of my mail to various neighbors boxes. Some I get from them , some I never see. I have the USPS informed delivery notification which shows pictures of most of what is being delivered. Last month they lost an important document, I had to jump through hoops to get things reissued. Now they lost the reissue document. No one answers the phone and I have gone in to discuss in the past to have them ignore me. Just came from the post office and was helped by a RUDE employee who was unfriendly and unhelpful. He had long hair up to his shoulders and was the WORST person to help me ship a package for the fist time. He didn't explain any of the process to me. He rushed me and when he asked what type of shipping I told him first class shipping and he asked 'priority shipping? as if it was the only option so I just said sure- really not knowing what to do. So upset that when I asked him questions he was mad and annoyed. He shouldn't work customer service with that kind of attitude and lack of knowledge. My bank card came up missing even though I was emailed a photo by the USPS informed delivery in my email. I had to wait almost 30 days for a new card and pay a small fee to be reissued a new card due to someone loosing my mail. The service at this post office is horrible. I came in today to pick up a package and waited for atleast ten minutes before any one came to the window. The will call area needs some help. And for some unknown reason no one else was able or willing to help me. When you ask another employee for assistance they simply point out a bell to ring. Expectations for the USPS are very low, and they do nothing to make it any better. My Informed Delivery notice showed that there were several pieces of mail heading my way. The mail included a piece from Social Security, and another from Medicare. When only the piece from Medicare arrived I was fairly certain that my mail had been misdelivered (again). I found out that I was right when my neighbors contacted me to let me know that they had gotten my Social Security mail in their mailbox. I'm glad my mail went to these neighbors instead of someone who might have taken advantage of the opportunity to get identity information from my mail. After having the local post office misdeliver a rent check from my tenants, and an insurance check, I had direct deposit set up so that my finances would not be compromised by our postal service. Had two packages gone "missing" from this place. I smell a little thief. Just today I received a notification that a failed attempted delivery was made, i was home ALL day (never went anywhere, just sitting on the sofa since i first woke up this morning literally directly across from the front-door and constantly checking the windows for the delivery truck) and I also have a RING that captures video which i went through minute by minute up until the timestamp of the so-called "delivery attempt" and there was absolutely NO attempt, NO NOTE, NO DELIVERY PERSON....NOTHING. We have a community mailbox, nothing there too. So I don't know what "issue" USPS is talking about why they didn't deliver. They purposely leave the phone off the hook to avoid all phone calls (someone leaving their review actually saw it happened in front of her own eyes...and yes, it was at THIS post-office). Corporate needs to investigate these matters and complaints on these incompetent lazy and unprofessional/unethical workers and fire/replace them. If they hate their job so much, get rid of them. You can ring it all you want but they will take their sweet time. I always dread going here to get a package. It only took 5 minutes for the lady to process my passport application. Granted, I had to wait a little because there were 2 people in front of me. She was quick, efficient, thorough with explanations, and got me out of there in a timely manner! The parking is plentiful and it appeared that the line for other postal needs moved rather quickly. The worst post office ever! They lose packages & mail. They stuff your PO BOX with prior people that rented before you, but they send my mail back to return to sender. I've requested to be contacted to find my mail since there was a screenshot taken and scanned by USPS into my email. I inquired at both counters in this post office and show them my email of what piece of mail that should have been there and wasn't. Nobody Knows Anything!!! Just excuses that make no sense from these postal employees. I filed 2 complaints online neither one was answered by anyone in the USPS not a manager, not a phone call, nothing but confirmation numbers of filed complaints that are left unanswered! This is one of the worst post offices. By some miracle after trying all morning I was able to get through to their phone line. I have a package there that's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow and hoped to pick it up today. They said that would be fine. After waiting for 30 minutes the grumpy lady comes to the window and says "yep your package is here, it'll be delivered tomorrow." I know it'll be delivered tomorrow... I came here in person to pick it up today. I told her again that I was here to pick it up today. Her response? "I'm not going to go all the way back there and look for it." I have had 4 letters with gift cards inside stolen from this Post Office location. it only happens when I hand drop them inside the post office slot for outgoing letters. I work at this post office and I am sorry if we don't answer the phone every time that you call it's probably because we're on the other line or maybe we are at the customer service door or some other thing if you call and leave a message I will do my best to return your call. If you call before business hours we are not going to answer the phone leave a message. we try to do the best job that we can possibly do and somethings are not in our control as far as packages being lost before they even get to our office we're not perfect but we try to do the best we can with what we have. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. The woman working the window where you pickup your mail is very rude, mean spirited and stand-offish. Not a very helpful civil servant and in my opinion and is a waste of my tax dollars. I had an online order sent to a friend's business as a gift. The carrier did not leave it at their door perhaps for fear of theft...but did not leave ANY note to the business that they have a package. Via the USPS website I had the package held for pickup. I first called and asked if the package is there based on the tracking number. The person who answered looked it up and said "yes, it's here you can pick it up." I get to the pickup window and everything just goes bad from there. I said, "I have a package held here for pickup, here is the case number AND tracking number." She doesn't bother looking at it and says "what's the address? I said oh it's right there maam. She says again "What's the address?" I said It's right there! She asks again...OK, there's obviously some sort of control issue with this woman. So give her this confused look then I nicely read the address for her and she walks off. She comes back with a package that could or could not be mine. I will never know because she refused to confirm if that package matched my tracking number or case number. She looked at my CA DL and she said "I can't give you this package because your ID does not match label on the package." I said "Yes I know that. I sent the package to my friend's business so that I can pick it up there." As you can see form my tracking number and case number I sent the package, paid for shipping and now I can't have the package?" She said "I'm not yelling!" (I wasn't yelling BTW. I was firmly stating my situation and was a frustrated customer.) She went on reciting her Federal Rules and Regulations, blah, blah, blah. What about just helping an honest customer trying to get a gift to a 6th month old baby? At this point she was no longer interested in helping me and turned to deaf ears. She acted like I was committing mail fraud! Throughout this whole conversation she had this vindictive attitude that she was going to screw me over...And she did. I asked her to PLEASE HOLD the package so my friend, the business owner can pick it up. She says, "Yeah, OK." Next thing you know when I get home I get a notice via text message and email that "The package has been "RETURNED TO SENDER". When my friend came to pick up the package she said there was no package there. Now I have no idea where my package is. Not that anything will ever transpire from it but I'm going to file a formal complaint with the USPS. My father worked for the USPS for 20 years. Sadly it's no longer the same Government agency it used to be. Is it too much to ask for basic customer service? Typical entitled Federal workers just counting the days to collect their pension...and who pays for that? It's no wonder that USPS is losing money as Amazon, FedEx, UPS and OnTrac offer FAR BETTER service. I'm done using USPS. read more
