Nice location within the central downtown Denver area. This location is in general walking distance from my office, so on a nice day, I like to get out and enjoy some sunshine. The front counter was serviced by a relatively friendly employee that handled my needs quickly and effectively. This post office doesn't have a self-service kiosk, and they can't print a shipping label for you because they don't have a label printer.

Within walking distance of my office so I visit this location when I need to send parcels or buy stamps. Its too bad they don't have an automated machine so one can avoid the long lines. I don't like the machine since I prefer to transact my business with a person but on a busy day it's nice to have an option. Also, then you can send items at any time instead of having to wait for them to be open. They sell greetings cards and packaging materials which makes it convenient if you forgot an occasion or packing tape. The associates are usually friendly but sometimes you run into one who isn't as personable. Make sure to ring the bell if you don't see anyone. If you need a post office box to receive mail in, they have those available for rent. There are mailboxes outside the office for you to post your items. Handy when you have to post mark your mail by a certain date. It's convenient to be able to access a post office nearby. read more

Sketchy Experience with the post office. Notified a package was delivered, and I checked my camera at my front door. I could see the guy carrying the package. It was marked as delivered. I came home 4 min following delivery. No package. Asked all my neighbors, no package. Went up to the post office and left my phone number and was told I would be contacted. No contact. Called up there several times, no answer. Went up again and told " it's out of our hands once it's delivered. I filed a report and strangely enough 4 hours after filing I was called and told " we verified it was in your mailbox". My gf was home and actually got the package directly from the guy trying to put it in there. Strange. Got my package in the end but not really sure what happened to it through the process. read more

Located on 14th, this is very convenient to my house and Golden Triangle area. It doesn't have an APC tho, which is something i really enjoy at the Post Office. Also, the lobby has hours which means the front door is locked until the lobby hours open...9:30am on saturday morning seems inconvenient. read more

I like the new (to me) building, but I miss the free parking. The staff who work here are always very courteous and helpful. My biggest complaint is not understanding how they decide whether or not to leave packages at my door. Some packages get left, others are marked for pick up. So if you live in the service area and work regular hours, it can be tough to get your deliveries. Still, WAY better than fed ex, which won't deliver at all to my building. read more

I would say 99% of postal workers are great! In regards to this location one of their carriers yelled at me and blocked my walk way. When I placed a complaint in regards to how rude she was, they contacted me. She lied and she said I was rushing her. I was patiently waiting until she yelled at me to stay back. I was more than 6 ft away from her. When I asked to pass she refused even though she was blocking the hall way to the other side. I believe in being respectful to all people especially public workers. Next time I'll be sure to film the incident. Having never been treated this way by a postal worker, I was not prepared. I can't imagine this being the first time there being an issue with this particular person. Avoid this location. Go to where they're friendly and take matters seriously. read more

This is the 2nd time I have gotten notice that I have a package delivery and after checking 7 minutes after it was supposedly delivered to my locked box, it was not there! The first time was with medication. We did get it two days later, after talking to the postman, and the package had a hand-sized hole in it that was then taped over. Guess the drugs weren't what the person was looking for. This time it is a personalized dog tag. Probably not of use to anyone else...was it mis-delivered? This is all within a couple weeks. We had a package shipped here General Delivery. It states in the site that generally delivery is accepted and we called ahead. We came to pick up our packages (even allowing a couple days for them to get sorted) and was told that we had to come back the next day between 9-9:30 am because there is only one person who handles packages and she wasn't there. Annoying, but we did what the women asked. Now I am here and she is telling me I have to come back tomorrow, the package worker must have called out and she doesn't have time. Mind you, there are only about 2 customers in here, they just opened AND the best one...they are a post office! This is their job! read more

This is the worst post office I have ever had to deal with. Every time I go in, they tell me I'm wrong and that my package was already delivered without getting any information at all from me and they obviously have no idea. They are consistently condescending and incorrect when they give out information and have made any hopes of ever actually getting packages delivered pretty impossible. read more

The woman working was nice and apologetic but still doesn't excuse the fact that in a line of 3 patrons ahead of me 20 minutes after opening, I managed to waste 45 minutes (thank God I found a meter with 30 on it already!) in line to purchase stamps. Needed to mail a package on a Saturday and being that I was going downtown this US Post Office was an ideal stop on my way. While the post office is large and the place was almost empty, the customer service at this location was horrible. I will start this by, never go to this location. Not only did the clerk lie to me say that she had given me a tracking number and said that it was charged into my bill and would be on the receipt. I shipped my package priority mail on the 10th of the month and was told that it would be there no later then the 13th. On the 14th I received an email saying the my package was not received. I called the 1800 number on the receipt and the teller told me that I needed to call the local store I went to and get the tracking number and they would be able to give me the information for the tracking number if I called. So I called, the manager put me on hold twice the first time for fifteen minutes and the second time for eighteen minutes. He was very rude and short to me when I was trying to explain the importance of knowing my tracking number. After I informed him that the teller told me there was a tracking number on my receipt and the package would be there no later then the 13th, then not only did the package not get delivered there was no tracking number on my receipt. Then 1800 number had said that he could give me the number but he said that he couldn't help me. As I was explaining this, and told him that I had felt duped and lied to about the whole situation the manager abruptly hung up on me. I have never experience such rudeness when dealing with a company. I would not go to this location they were so rude dealing with this problem, and to be a manager of a business and hang up on a costumer when they are having an issue is not only rude it is completely unprofessional. read more
