Employees always ask me why I come here if I live close to the office near my home. I tell them they are the friendliest most welcoming efficient postal employees I ever encountered. I tell them I will drive extra time just to get the best service. They see me often and I like them all. A great branch! I Never had an issues and they never lost a package. My go to branch. I've been here before, but it was quite some time ago. We were in the area, and I needed to mail a bunch of post cards. I looked up on my yelp app for the closest post office and this one came up. Perfect. It was raining a bit, so instead of parking in the convenient lot right outside the building, my husband was able to drop me off in front of the entrance doors (on the east side) and pull around to pick me up. Inside, this post office was large and clean and bright. It seemed almost new even though I knew it wasn't. There weren't that many folks waiting in line at the windows. I took advantage of one of the several mailboxes along the back wall instead of waiting in line. And within minutes was done and out the door. This isn't a post office I'd normally go to, but it was good to see they are still open and operating. And an option in this area, should I need their services in the future. read more

I travel often from Orlando to Deerfield, and Ft Lauderdale area. I am at the post office every week in Orlando and this Deerfield Bch location. By contrast this usps location on Hillsboro Bch Blvd and SE 3rd Avenue has to be one of the most depressing locations. No one EVER smiles, looks happy or looks you in the eye. They do complain a lot to one another about other people but I wish there was another location nearby as I would go there instead. Orlando/Windermere has to be the happiest post office I have ever been to. You always get a smile, a greeting, a thank you. They must have great management who brings a smile to their face. Multiple pieces of missing mail and if we don't take out our mail before the next visit our carrier takes it and leaves no notice. I've never has issues with the Post Office or so many pieces of missing mail until having this branch deliver our mail. I've also received other peoples' mail and saw that no carrier was present and the left the mailbox door completely open. I have no idea what important mail I may have missed. I'm on my 4th report, so far nothing has been done about it. read more
