I don't really come to this post office much, but it was the nearest location since I was on Federal Highway taking care of some errands. I was fortunate to get a parking spot right in front of the post office. All I had was one postage stamp envelope to mail out. I could have simply place the envelope in the mail drop box and be on my merry way, but I wasn't in a rush and I don't mind personally handing my mail to an employee to be sent out There were two female employees behind the counter, and with the exception of two people receiving service, the place was practically empty. I approached one of the female employees when she became available, handed her the envelope, and was on my way out once she stamped the envelope. I'm not sure when I'll return to this location, but if it's convenient for me I will come. Sorry I didn't take any updated pics.

I came in with an official USPS Label Broker QR code for a Priority Mail label that had already been purchased and paid for through USPS Click-N-Ship. The "Print Later at Post Office" option had been selected specifically so that an employee could scan the code and print the prepaid label. The staff repeatedly refused even to scan the QR code and incorrectly insisted that I needed to pay again. I calmly explained several times that everything had already been paid for online, but they were dismissive, ignored what I was saying, and refused to perform this basic service. I asked for a supervisor or manager and was told that no one was available. After several minutes of being ignored and dismissed, I had to raise my voice simply to get someone to listen and scan the code. When an employee finally scanned it, the code worked immediately--exactly as I had explained from the beginning. This was an awful and needlessly stressful experience. The employees appeared completely unfamiliar with their own USPS Click-N-Ship and Label Broker services and showed no willingness to listen or help. Staff at this location urgently need proper training and significantly better customer-service standards. No customer should have to argue and demand assistance simply to receive a service that has already been paid for

I love that it is convenient and I can walk here. It's a hidden gem in back of the Coral Ridge Mall but with plenty of parking. It's also a Pokémon Go gym stop LOL. It's small and only has maybe 1-2 windows open at any time. The staff are friendly, personable and efficient. They really keep the line moving, and still make it seem like you're an actual customer. It's almost enjoyable (which says a lot). This location is actually one of the few USPS "Finance Units" whatever that means, and the website doesn't explain it at all...except that these stations are limited by regulations to 3 staff at any time in the front or back. So don't blame the staff if they seem short-handed. My "real" station is over in Oakland Park in a different zip code, and it won't get close to 5 stars.

I used to be here quite often when I had an office not too far away and would take my lunch break running a few errands in the area. We'd been downtown for lunch, and this was the closest actual post office, so we stopped by. We parked in lot in the back of the mall right near the entrance. Look for the American flag. Once again stamps will be going up in January. We thought we'd stock up on a few and get some Christmas/holiday themed stamps for cards. We use less and less stamps each year as most bills are now paid online, but every once in a while, we like to "snail mail" a greeting or birthday card. They had a nice selection, and we had our choice of themes. Although this place is tiny and there's a limited staff, the service here is excellent. The folks are friendly, efficient, and fast. If you're nearby and need a real post office, this one is worth visiting.

So yes, you can come to this post office to apply for a new passport or passport renewal. Everything from processing the passport application to taking passport pictures is taken care of here. The forms are displayed on the counter. Schedule your appointment through the post office website - www.usps.com. Appointment days/times is posted on the door. Makes sure you have the necessary documents to show proof of identity. They accept payment for the passport fee in the form of cash, debit, or check. I got all the information I needed. Michelle, one of the associates, was absolutely wonderful--friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful. She let me borrow a pen and stapler, gave me the time and space I needed to complete my documents, and made sure everything was set up to get where it needed to go as quickly as possible. It's not often you leave a post office feeling this good about the interaction, but the staff here really makes a difference. They're pleasant, efficient, and respectful of your time. If you're in the local area and need postal services--especially something a bit more involved--this is definitely the location I'd recommend.
