However, after Saturday, I will go out of my way to avoid this place. I work remote and recently changed jobs and needed to return my old equipment. My former employer sent me a very detailed email with QR codes and instructions that state, UPS is to pack the items. When I went in, i was asked repeatedly what was in the box. I listed out verbally and opened the box to show him as well as showed the email checklist. After 10 minutes of repeatedly asking me what was in the box, I was asked to come back on Monday at 10am. Well of course I cannot and will not, I have a job. I gave up and went to the UPS in Casa Linda. There, Jessica helped me start to finish with no questions. I'm not sure if the man here was new or just lazy. Either way, he has no business being in customer service.

I questioned whether or not I should come back but I stayed as I needed this package to go out as soon as possible. The line ended up moving very quickly as even more customers arrived. All three registers were open and the employees were working speedily and diligently to help the customers as quickly as possible. As my turn came I was told my package may not arrive by Christmas as the deadline for that date had passed. However I learned that only two days later my package was received and all was well. The shipment I needed today was sent priority overnight as it is a refrigerated, time-sensitive $30,000+ medication. Since tomorrow is Christmas, and you won't be delivering, if it does not arrive to be refrigerated by close of business tonight--which I do not have great faith in occurring--I will have to reschedule a multi-hour very crucial neurological treatment that has to be scheduled months in advance. Not receiving this treatment presents life-threatening issues. The agent who opened the ticket was snippy and condescending. He actually had the audacity to blame the shipper for not binding the 3 packages under the master tracking number together when I mentioned that I'd only received 1 of 3 boxes on the shipment. I did not appreciate that at all. I worked handling and arranging the shipping and logistics of highly sensitive and confidential documents for government and medical investigations of a Fortune 250 company for 20 years. Often times this included transport of thousands of boxes cross country. So you'll no doubt understand why such a cavalier attitude, incomplete response, and then closing my ticket when there hasn't even been resolution as FedEx has not yet even fulfilled its obligation and delivered my medication is unfathomable and completely mind-boggling to me. I have also notified the shipper of these egregiously unacceptable and disturbing events in hopes that eventually it may help prevent such occurrences in the future...because sadly this hasn't been an isolated incident for my family in dealing with FedEx.
