Currently standing in line to pick up a package and it's been 20+ minutes and no one has come to the door to help the 10+ people standing in line. The USPS employees at this location are rude and could care less but they are getting paid for everyone else to stand waiting. read more

There was only one person working when I arrived so the line was moving slow. The other problem was you have to be able to find parking since its in the middle of downtown and the most convenient will be meter parking right in front of the office. It's a old, beautiful building so I didn't mind waiting and admiring the interior and thinking of how much buildings have changed. Once it was my turn it was quick, efficient, no problems at all. Great post office with friendly staff! Their is a coffee shop inside also. Only bad part is in downtown Dallas.

At this point, I don't think anyone can have high expectations for post office employees. Or many people paid by the government. I think this office is very cute & historic looking, but like a old bank or jail... I am able to walk to this location. I would imagine parking would be a nightmare and just plain stupid to attempt. I went right before lunch and no one was there. It did take me a minute to figure out where the door was because on street level there is just a sign for apartments, but when I looked higher up on the building it said post office. So, I was the only one there. I had a letter and a manual I needed to send. I figured the manual needed to go in a box because it was small but not small enough to go through the envelope feeder. So I asked the lady if a box was the best. She said "oh no a regular envelope will be fine" So I questioned her and she reassured me it would be ok... well 2 days later it was returned to me to be re-packaged... so much for that. So to sum up, average usps service: slow, confusing, inconvenient, received wrong information and just a hassle. read more

If this post office location wasn't a block away from my job I would never go there. I've been in about 30-40 times and would rate them at 1 star on a good day do to poor customer service. I've never walked in without receiving a blank star or a glare from whichever zombie lookalike is behind the counter. Today they were giving me a hard time about a slight bulge on my flat rate box. They wanted to charge me $20 more. When I companied that they have accepted similar packages before she stated "That's not gonna change things today." As I told her that there was no need to be rude she interrupted me by repeating "That's not gonna change things today," twice. I took the package to another post office and the accepted it without any problems. read more

Don't expect any service from this location. No parking. No Saturday hours. They won't answer the phone. After 10 rings, you're disconnected. I set up a change of address which they implemented two weeks early. I've had so many issue over the last few years they are too numerous to mention. I feel sorry for you if your residence is in this zip code. I'm moving and I'm glad. read more

Would love to give this a negative star rating. 1 star is being super generous. Worst customer service in the world. They are so slow and lazy, when going to pick up a package (my apartment complex doesn't get deliveries anymore ):) they take about 5 min to just answer the buzzer then another 10 minimum to come back and tell you they can't find the package even though the tracking number says it is there. I was told multiple times to just call fist so I don't have to come and check it if it's there. That would be great if the lazy employees ever answered the phone. Today alone I called 15 times and it rings for a minute then goes dead. Maybe next time I order something I'll see if they have a post-boy on a horse as an option, has to be quicker than these people. read more

This place is rude and so unorganized. After waiting an hour one day for someone to come to the dutch door, they told me they have to much to go through and come back another day. Not to mention, they delivered my gold assets to a different address and have no record of what address the mailman delivered it to. Litigation pending read more

If I could give Zero stars I would. Vanessa the "Supervisor" needs to leave her unpleasant attitude at home. I have been dealing with issues receiving packages at my apartment complex and would love more then anything not to have to go out of my way the Post Office to pick up my packages. Unfortunately thats not the case. I went there today (November 2, 2015) to pick up a package that was supposed to be delivered to my door on Monday, October 26, 2015. I show up to the dutch door, ring the bell, and wait for a few minutes. Eventually a lady answers the door with a hateful look. I wasn't sure what to say/do so I sat there in silence for a few seconds then told her I needed to pick up a package. She answered me with a hateful ton and obviously something got to her that was completely out of my control or maybe this is normal. She mumbles in a hateful tone that she's not a mind reader and i reply neither am I so do not be mad at me you signed up for this job. Does this lady think I want to be here with her hateful presence? Anyways, she refuses to get my package so I ask speak to a supervisor and of course Vanessa is the supervisor. I have been in the service industry for 10+ years and this is ridiculous. No one deserves to be treated like Vanessa treated me. I never leave yelp reviews but I will be contacting her superior. I feel sorry for the employees that have to deal with this women on a daily basis!! If it was up to me this would be her last day of employment. Please try to avoid this post office at all cost. Vanessa I promise life isn't that bad. You should smile every once in a while you would be shocked what that can do for you!! read more
