The hours posted on the internet state the location is open until 5:30. The USPS 800 number also list location hours as closing at 5:30. I entered the post office at 5:05. There were no priority mail labels in the lobby so I waited in line and when it was my turn I asked for a label. I stepped to the side to complete the label. Unfortunately, the price was higher than I expected so I decided to switch to a flat rate box. I asked for a box - clearly aggravated from our first encounter, Kathleen became much more upset. She told me "she closed 10 minutes ago" it was 5:17PM - I said I thought you closed at 5:30, she said no, threw a box at me (literally) and went to lock the doors. At this point I realized I was locked in the post office and I felt very uncomfortable. I asked to be let out and didn't mail my package. I typically visit this location in the morning - Kevin and Sandra are great! I will not return to this location though after this encounter. read more

We had a problem with our mail being delivered to the wrong address. After reaching a wonderfully courteous and helpful human, my mail was delivered later that day. Works for me! read more

Workers here don't seem to care too much about their customers. My expectation is not that high in this place. Just go there to buy stamps and special envelops. read more

I have been to few other Post Offices, but this one is the worst and happens to be in my town. Whenever I go there to send something out of state or overseas, they try their best to give minimal information. They seem to be annoyed by customers. There are a couple of guys who know what is going on, but they are very rude. There are a couple of guys who have no idea what to do, even they are not that friendly. This group of men and women that work in this post office are the most miserable, unfriendly, robotic, job-hating employees I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. I try not to go there for this reason. I have been in the customer service field all of my adult life with more than 30 years experience and am a business owner. I received a package last week. The postman put it in a locked box. The key that was left in my mailbox was obviously bent and did not work. I called and the number sent me to California where I had to have the problem assigned a case number. I received a phone call yesterday assuring me my package would be delivered to my door. Two days later and I am still waiting for my pavkaged that was received in the mail center LAST WEEK. read more

Summer Place has more than 100 residents and it is now 6:20PM all of the telephones to the Post Offices have been down for the day. We have not had any delivery today according to both of the people at the front desk where the delivery is made. It is not a holiday. There are times when the postman comes only to pick up the outgoing mail or to delivery to people which has to be delivered as it requires a signature maybe this is one of those times..... There is one delivery man who is known by everyone and he is great...when he is on vacation or absent mail delivery is a disaster. He is going to be retiring soon. Have any plans been made for someone to take his place? I have been told if there is a late delivery and that no one has done the route - only those who have already delivered their mail do it if they have to read more
