Here's the ridiculousness in this notice: The screen door is just propped open. When I run errands with my daughter I prop it open because I have to carry her car seat up the steps and it's a struggle. I can't wait to put in a formal complaint. When it was around 7pm I looked to track my package since it hadn't been delivered yet. I saw I had an email saying "delivery attempted". When I looked further into the email it said "mailbox was full". I had ordered a package that was 3 cases of energy drinks and a diploma folder so how is that supposed to fit in my mailbox. My common sense tells me to leave it at the doorstep like majority of packages are left. In my mailbox was one piece of paper saying I had to pick up my package since I wasn't home. But the slip didn't even say where to pick up. I tried calling the number general postal service number but it wouldn't accept my tracking number. Even though this was a minor inconvenience the reason that the very nice lady at the front desk gave me was inexcusable! Apparently the lady that was supposed to drop off my package is known to give slips saying "delivery attempted" when packages are too heavy. The nice lady even said the person delivering "only has a few more years before retirement. My understanding from reading the Indeed website is that the expectation is employees are to lift up to 70 pounds. If this employee is known for not completing her job why does she still have one?

There were no priority mail labels in the lobby so I waited in line and when it was my turn I asked for a label. I stepped to the side to complete the label. Unfortunately, the price was higher than I expected so I decided to switch to a flat rate box. I asked for a box - clearly aggravated from our first encounter, Kathleen became much more upset. She told me "she closed 10 minutes ago" it was 5:17PM - I said I thought you closed at 5:30, she said no, threw a box at me (literally) and went to lock the doors. At this point I realized I was locked in the post office and I felt very uncomfortable. I asked to be let out and didn't mail my package. So it needs a signature in order to be delivered to me, first they knocked on the BASEMENT door outside and left a note saying they'll come back tommorrow and to sign the paper so when they come back, they'll just deliver it. Next day rolls around, they went to a completely different door from the one they went to yesterday, this was the second delivery attempt, i was home i didnt hear anyone or anything. Which makes me think they falsify delivery attempts and just leave sticky notes. Again, they left that same slip of paper. I was beyond angry at this point, I called customer service and they put me on the phone with an agent, I explained my situation and the agent said that someone would call me in 1 hour with a follow up for re-delivery same day. The driver called me, her name was Yolanda, she claimed she was going to come back and deliver it with the instructions i left with the customer service agent and she never returned on the same day. Now today is the third and last delivery attempt day before they send my iphone back to the seller, i left a big sign where they put both notes and told them the correct door, hopefully they'll listen and i'll put another yelp review. But other than that, I don't recommend UPS for shit, and upon further investigation via reddit and quora, UPS drivers are known for falsifying delivery attempts, unless your there yourself waiting for the package outside they will NOT deliver it. I recommend every seller to not use UPS and instead use FEDEX or other delivery services and UPS doesn't care enough to fix the problem, they just redirected me. If I could give no stars, i would. I don't wanna assume anything, but this is before the holidays so i'm hoping no driver is scheming to steal my package..
