BEWARE - Multiple Packages Missing & Poor Accountability…read more I am extremely disappointed with the USPS location in Mount Pleasant (Johnnie Dodds Blvd). I currently have three packages missing, with a fourth only recently recovered under concerning circumstances. All four packages were shipped from different retailers, in separate boxes, and each shows as delivered by FedEx to this USPS facility days prior. One package was even signed for by a USPS employee (S. Tracy). Despite this, there was no yellow or colored pickup slip placed in my P.O. Box indicating that packages were available at the counter, which is standard procedure. When we spoke with a front desk employee named Martin, he repeatedly stated that because the packages originated with FedEx, USPS could not track them. This explanation is inaccurate, as FedEx tracking clearly shows delivery to this USPS location. The issue is not FedEx tracking--it is what happened to the packages after USPS took possession of them. We were told that the supervisor responsible for package organization, TJ, was on "break" and unavailable. This was especially frustrating given that a month ago, TJ made a comment to us stating, "we get too many packages," despite the fact that we pay for a P.O. Box at this location specifically for secure mail handling. On 12/10/25, while filling out the missing mail form, we were informed that a formal investigation had been opened. We were told that we would hear from a manager or supervisor no later than Tuesday, 12/16/2025. As of now, we are still waiting for that follow-up. On 12/12/25, Martin contacted us to say that one package had been "found" only because a good Samaritan turned it in, explaining that USPS employees had placed it in the wrong P.O. Box. There is no excuse for multiple packages to go missing at once--especially within a government-operated facility. The lack of accountability, dismissive explanations, and concerning remarks from management raise serious questions about how packages are being handled at this location. I strongly encourage anyone using this post office to closely monitor tracking information and document all interactions. Until these issues are properly addressed, I cannot recommend trusting this location with important or time-sensitive mail. Proceed with caution.

The lady gave her one and she asked for another. Denied. I was next and asked for the same. Alice (the worker) asked if it was for me. I said it was. She held onto it and then snatched it away. She went to retrieve my package and was loudly talking about our exchange to her coworkers. She slung the package at me and I asked for her name. She said "Alice. And write it down if I can't remember it." This is my second unpleasant experience with Alice. The last time she said I needed tape on my package I was mailing for my mother. Some was sitting on the next window and when I asked if I could use it, she said that it would be a $18 or $20+ charge (I was mailing it for $8). That seems like extorsion. Alice is not happy working in the public. She gives that entire Post Office a bad name.

Spoiler alert: package arrived fine in NYC. The real downside to this place as the lack of customer service. I know times are hard for the US postal service, but c'mon! You work at the beach! There were no pens anywhere so I asked for a pen and she glared at me and ignored me. A nice woman in line let me borrow her pen after noticing how crazy Rhonda was being. Once I made it up to her desk again, I was berated for ASKING FOR A PEN.....Rhonda gave me an attitude during every single step of my transaction, asked me to stop "yelling" when I was very calmly asking her to stop harassing ME and mail my package. She is a hateful human being. I do not have faith my package will make it to the destination. I've made 2 complaints via USPS today. I encourage everyone else to do it as well. I watched as she was extremely rude to 4-5 people before me. I don't care how hard it is to find workers, this woman deserves to be fired.

One upside of buying stamps at the post office is that you can buy an odd number such as 30 or 45 without having leftover stamps. This branch has a self-service machine in the lobby, but it was out of order on a Tuesday on my lunch break. I don't think it was out of stamps... I do not think the machine was working at all. The line got pretty long, but thankfully a second clerk came in from her lunch break and helped get through the rush. Pack your patience if you must come here.

She made a snarky comment refusing to recognize or move the item I came with. The manager response after this interaction was ". She was confused as to which package was yours among the many on the counter. She is a bit shy and may have been at a loss". False as i was the last / next person up to front. On July 16, 2024, I visited the store to print some documents. An employee's tone of voice was noticeably unpleasant when she asked, "Can we help you?"--it came across as irritated or frustrated. When I requested assistance, she refused to print my copy. I calmly asked to speak with another employee, but she declined my request. At that point, I chose to remove myself from the building and she contacted the police while waiting outside. Injustice On that day i was verbally trespassed from the owners private property. Bad business / Bad Attitudes. This is my true experience
