He kindly explained that USPS does not scan the packages that they pick up from Lincoln Postal until a few days once it's along the delivery route. The person who I sent the package to received it within a week. The only reason why I will knock off one star is that the person who I spoke to should have expressed the delay in scanning by the postal workers when I expressed confusion about where my package was. This should have either been noted on the receipt or told to customers when they are sending a package. Nonetheless, I would come here if I have an emergency but for now, I'll stick to the post office.

Some of the people working her seems decent and hardworking but if you come in at the wrong time you better prepare for some childish levels of disrespect and unprofessional conduct.

Based on the reviews, I was dreading my visit to this location and ended up leaving pleasantly…read moresurprised! I showed up expecting the line to be out the door but there were only 7 or so people inside. It took maybe 15 minutes to wait in line and process my package shipment. Granted it was a Friday afternoon so maybe that worked in my favor. All the employee interactions I observed seemed cordial enough. Especially when compared to the few customers that would watch videos on their phone without headphones or conduct phone conversations while waiting in line. The most "rude" interaction I noticed from an employee was when a customer (who had filled out the incorrect form) asked the employee if they would fill out the right form for them and was bluntly told no. This seemed like a reasonable response as any. Maybe I would have a lower review if I had to frequent the post office more often but my experience was definitely not as bad as many of the reviews listed here. So if you have to ship something very simple, do not let the fear of potentially mild discomfort hold you back from going to the criminally underfunded federal entity that is the US Post Office.

Night and day experience from move into the same building with a big name company during the summer. The prior company had to partially dismantle the stairwell to get things into the building and the end cost was twice as high. Moving from the same brownstone to an elevator building with detailed rules and regulations, this time in mid-winter-- even with sub-zero temperatures, 2-foot snowbanks and a disorganized client, JP Urban was wonderful. the process of planning the move and arranging the advance paperwork with JP was seamless.
