Must have came on a good day judging from the other reviews. But i must say that Michelle saved the day today. I sent out some stuff in an express overnight ship, and got a call that I needed to get pictures of the package after I had already paid and left. I came back, and instead of just turning me down (which i expected) she spoke to her supervisor (whose name I didn't catch unfortunately) and they were able to help me out and get the package back and open. It was resealed and i was not charged any extra. They really saved my day, I cant thank them enough! read more

The worst post office ever. I am consistently missing packages, never EVER, get a call back, and yesterday I found one of my packages ON THE STREET. Not on the street like it fell out of the mailbox, but 5 - 10 feet past it like it was thrown out of the truck. And the office simply doesn't care enough to even return a phone call. read more

Please close my mail box my mail is wet. All my envelopes are really wet . I can't open it. read more

Had a mail carrier just make two "fake" deliveries to my house of signature required mail. I was sitting in the room next to the door. There was no knock or doorbell ring. Now I have to waste my time to pick it up at the post office. I'll never voluntarily use USPS for deliveries. The mail carrier can't do his or her job? What the hell is going on over there? read more

1 star because of how rude the workers have been here. At best they are lukewarm, they don't smile or say anything polite. For example, a couple months ago, I went there and there was an older man there of Indian ethnicity, didn't get his name, that kept me waiting in line to talk with his friend and then looked mad when helping me. Not sure what I did wrong. If they don't like their jobs there I'm sure there are others who would want to work there. On the plus side they have a self-service machine so you have the option of not dealing with the rude employees. read more

I concur with all the 1 star reviews. Recently moved to Florida, filled out a change of address form, handed it to the clerk, never received any forwarded mail. Called the phone number, probably got one of the supervisors (Sal) who told me there was nothing in the system. I guess it was too much trouble for the clerk to put it in. Sal was very helpful (that's why the rating went up to 2 stars from the -2stars that it would have been). ALWAYS had trouble with the rude help at this branch. What a difference in Florida: the post office staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. One woman apologized profusely for the mistakes made by the clerk in Bridgewater! Use the Martinsville or Pluckemen branch read more

Due to a lack of effort or knowledge from a single clerk, I had to repackage the same piece of mail 5 times before successfully sending it. Please keep in mind that this single clerk, from my experience alone, has been working at the Bridgewater USPS Office for at least 4 years. So a lack of knowledge was most likely not the case. 1st issue that the clerk informed me about is that I used the wrong type of envelope. 2nd issue was that my label was wrong. 3rd issue was that I had the correct label but it was only marked for 6oz. 4th issue was that my envelope was too thick. At this point, I was dumbfounded. I once again proceeded to ask the clerk what to do. The clerk replied, "I do not know" and laughed. 5th attempt was at a different location with zero issues. The amount of time and money I have unnecessarily spent to send this one piece of mail is beyond disappointing. Why didn't this single clerk not tell me exactly what to do, step by step, after seeing me struggle for the 3rd time, is something I believe anyone would have a hard time answering. I was not even left with a solution to my 4th issue. I called the Supervisor from the Bridgewater USPS Office and inform the Supervisor about the 4th issue. The Supervisor apologized to me and said there is no such policy of a priority mail item being too thick. If it fits, it ships. This is just one of the unfortunate experiences I have had at the Bridgewater USPS Office. Quickly, I would just like to mention another. One time, I was having a hard time hearing the clerk, a different clerk than mentioned above, so I asked the clerk to repeat herself. The clerk threw her hands up in the air, said, "What don't you understand?", and proceeded to shake her head. read more

They are awful, always, always constantly getting the mail mixed up. They blame it on Covid. Do your job

I think this is a very underrated facility. Given the fact that it is a post office, I find the automated machine with postage is a great value for your dollar. Conveniently located in the center of Bridgewater, I don't see why people expect more from their local post office. They even have greeting cards and birthday cards. wow what a deal. read more

Understaffed especially when there were more than 4 customers in line. It was clear that there was staff around. The guy that was there, Jatin, was rude to customers. Although he seemed very knowledgeable, he seemed aggravated with his customers, rushing them along, especially with the elderly. For example, there was an old man needing to send a package and Jatin offered to send his package for $11.70, which he clearly says included insurance, and then offered another option for $11.14 that didn't include insurance ($2 extra for insurance). Jatin was short tempered and rushing the customer to pick an option; when the old man picked the second option with insurance he raised his voice in a condescending way...well clearly I won't be going back there. read more

Awful. If I could give zero stars, I would. 2 packages were damaged - one of them had something stolen from it. Another package just went completely missing! Shippers like amazon and the like should use UPS, FEdEx.... read more

Wow! I really didn't know what to expect when I walked in post office but this was much worst then I had even imagined. I had the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. I'll spare the details but if you have the choice to sit and wait on a phone for 2 or 3 to get something resolved that might be better then walking in to a shithole like this. read more

The people that work there either are lazy and/or cannot speak English correctly. Does not open until 10:00 am. Always long lines. read more

Consistently a bad experience. Would give zero stars if I could. I work in the area so I've dropped packages and overnights several times. Counter workers are rude, miserable, work as slowly as possible and don't care how long the line gets, they're just not motivated to do anything more than the minimum. They seem not only to hate their jobs, but also the people who walk in the door. They don't smile, aren't helpful, and act like they're doing you a favor instead of doing their jobs. I'll never set foot in there again. read more

A US Post Office location is not a place I would usually write a Yelp review but in I am fed up with the inefficiency of the postal workers and the management's neglect to fix it. The Christmas season over and it's back to business as usual, so I could not understand how when I entered the post office today at 1:15 p.m. I was tenth in line. I waited half an hour just to mail 1 package - 2 of 3 counters were open during the entire time. The postal workers spoke slowly, checked packages and input data slower, and it seemed like standing in line at the DMV; the people behind the counter just don't care how long the line gets. By the time I was done and started walking out, there was another 8 people waiting in line still. read more

I don't understand how this location always has a line. I waited forever for one package and I was there early! The postal workers work slow. Never again. read more

The WORST post office I have ever been to. Not only are the employees RUDE and NASTY, they are not helpful and unknowledgeable. I went to get a price for wedding invitations and they charged me double the price of Raritan Post Office. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other Post Office and save yourself a lot of frustration and grief. Absolutely terrible. read more

This is one of the worst post offices I've ever been to every time I come in there's a sour face on every employee and when I ask a question about restocking the priority mail envelopes they act like they have no idea what you're talking about and asked me to order myself instead of coming into the post office Jackie is a specially rude and unhelpful I will never come back here again read more

Definitely won't be returning to this post office. The woman I dealt with was very rude (whoever Clerk 28 is). I was trying to send out two letters and asked if there was any way to track or find out if the person received it, and she just said "No" with a really nasty attitude. She also got snarky when I had to quickly write on my envelops and made me step to the side even though it was only going to take a few seconds. There was only 1 other person behind me in line so I don't understand why she couldn't just wait for me to finish. Even made me put the two stamps on myself which seemed pretty lazy. Opposite of customer service. South Bound Brook location is much better, more efficient and friendly. read more

I had a super great and fast experience at this post office. The gentleman there was very helpful!

I brought prepaid shipment just for drop off. At other post offices, it is supposed to be scanned barcode and that's it. However a lady clerk at this office started measuring size and she told me I don't pay enough postage. I asked her to scan barcode to make sure, but she wouldn't do so. I gave up and I went to other post office and there was no issue. I want the manager at this office to educate or train more people working there. Otherwise, they will waste clients' time. read more

I am giving one star because that's the minimum you can give. Reason being I went for my one month old son for his passport and we were 10 minutes ahead of time but we forgot our sons pictures so I just went back to go get it and i live literally 5 minutes from this place so, I was about to be 5 minutes late and person responsible for passport(a black lady) threatened my wife to lose the appointment. She was extremely rude after i got there, gave me attitude like she was being forced to work there and doing me a favor. Reason why I am upset is that she knew we had a 1 month old kid with us and still she didn't have curtsy to pardon 5 minutes. I have never seen such behavior in my life. read more

Absolute joke! My mail never gets here, I get everyones mail but my own, you people are the absolute worst!

Today I was mailing a prepaid Poshmark package using the Priority Mail Flat Rate Rate box but was turned down by the staff. She said I can only use regular Priority Mail Mail box or other self brown box for such 5lb pre-paid package. Actually I did this a lot of time and never have a problem and I even double checked with Poshmark support later in case I was wrong. Bottomline is the staff don't know what they are doing and insist on that they are right. read more

This is for the Bridgewater PO. I stopped using this PO's counter service several years ago for the very things others have brought up. Today I was supposed to receive a certified letter, and typical of the carrier, I WATCHED as he left a 'delivery attempt' form in the box. TOO lazy to get out of the truck when you can just fill out the form and get it delivered the next day w/out ever leaving their truck. The best part was, he NEVER even filled out the form just left it completely BLANK!!!! This past Holiday season has left me completely dumb-founded as to how these carriers keep their jobs. At least three days a week I get my neighbors mail and I know it's happening to them also. This past month, I've had 4 neighbors, not the carrier, deliver my mail and packages to my door. One neighbor was from several streets over and they rec'd a package plus ALL my regular mail including bills!!! Just a week ago, someone called me from another TOWN saying she rec'd my mail. How does this happen???? I'm sure, if the rest of us were this incapable of doing our jobs, we would be shown the door! read more

Its worth the trip to go to another post office. If I could give a ZERO I would. The carriers are great, work hard and try to help when out in the field. The counter help is the worst. The women are rude and make you feel like you are imposing for even being there. Just not worth the headache they cause. read more

Have only had BAD service here. Would not allow me to use two pieces of tape to close my package. Instead of directing me to the pAckages that came with tape they just kept insisting I purchase the Amal tape roll. The supervisors patted the associate on the back when I walked away from the counter insisting she had done the right thing. The supervisor told me "this is a business". If they had simply directed me to the packages with tape in the first place after telling me know I cannot have tape I would have left with no issue. In any business you run even with policies in place you need to accommodate your customer and give them the correct information. When they continued to not give me two pieces of tape it only caused me to get frustrated. I have never been denied tape at any other post office that I frequent. I will only come back to this one as a last resort. The staff enjoys talking about the customers instead of servicing them. They refuse to come out from behind the counter to assist in finding the proper packing materials. They give attitude to almost all customers and in my experience I have never been greeted or said hello. They simply stare blankly behind the counter assuming we know what's taking so long. If these employees are so unhappy maybe it's time to get some new staff at this location. read more
