The owners seem to really dislike dealing with customers which is a problem when youre a retail store. I've literally never scene them welcome a customer, never a single smile, and they usually avoid all eye contact. They look at the package, scan it, and hand you a receipt. Always a scowl and they must be the owners because everyone that works there seems to follow their lead. I see from the other reviews that most everyone else has the same experience. The service being offered is a pretty straight forward, which always satisfactory, but how about a friendly "hello", a smile, a "thank you", an acknowledgment, and maybe even a "nice to see you again" once in a while. Thankfully, the balloon shop called me two hours before the party to let me know that no one had showed up, so I was able to frantically deploy relatives to pick everything up. And no picked up their phone when I twice called to confirm whether anyone was coming. The worst part? After I sent two follow up e-mails to Vamus expressing my disappointment and asking what had gone wrong, they could not be bothered to acknowledge or apologize for what is clearly their mistake. I rarely mail packages, and the young man behind the counter there was polite, professional and very patient with me. When we were done, I asked him if I could wait in the store until my Lyft ride arrived (it was hot and they had a/c). He said "of course" and motioned me to a swivel chair in front of a computer. I'm never going to use any other store again. The staff at this store are first-rate. It's at 57 South Main Street, Neptune (I think it's Neptune) NJ. I'm impressed!
