I bought a fragile pair of large, 24" figurines from a private seller in Asbury Park, NJ. Problem is, I live in Orange County, CA, at the other end of the country. In my phone and email search for a reputable company to carefully package and ship my figurines so that they'd survive the trip intact, I found two companies within 10 miles of the seller. The other was a small, local packing company that would have packed them in two separate boxes and then shipped via UPS. And then there was the local NJ UPS store that would do it all. The cost differential was more than a 1/3, and I went with UPS being the more reasonable and I presumed (correctly) experienced. I communicated by email with Charlie at the UPS #4433 and he was most helpful, professional and friendly. My two figurines arrived in just a few days from when they were dropped off at the UPS by the seller. That was fast since I chose the most reasonable option. They were packed in the UPS proprietary heavy duty cardboard, and super well wrapped inside, sparing no expense with bubble wrap, etc. Needless to say, they survived the journey without any damage. I'd recommend Charlie and his UPS store #4433 in Neptune, NJ without hesitation for your long distance packing and shipping of items you want to get there in perfect shape. Packing is an art, and anybody who's received broken items in the mail because somebody didn't think, or know, or care what they were doing, doesn't take good packing for granted. I went to my local UPS store last minute after racking my brain for a place other than Staples or an expensive print shop to get a copy made of my 11x15" original watercolor I made. I had no idea that UPS does copying till it came up on my phone search! Not only do that do it, but they did it quickly, while I waited, courteously, on stock card not copy paper, (well, it's just a copy for me), the quality was Great! Colors were very comparable to original, and it was Cheap! They had a good mailer envelope for the original and sent it out for me! I mean, really! WHERE else can you get ALL of that 3 copies (ok, the first one on regular paper), a mailer envelope (cushioned), and mail the dang thing for a whopping $15?!?!? While I waited and by the nicest guy! I wish I got his name! And the one working with him was helpful as well. I took same original to Staples in Shrewsbury yesterday and it took 2 hours (I left and they texted me when ready), ONE copy on poster paper was $12! And the quality was poor, meaning the color contrasts were not good and not vivid just ok. (Not the girls fault at Staples). Kudos you hard working guys at UPS you deserve a raise there at Ocean Grove (and no never saw them before in my life). read more

I have been coming here for years! The owner loves his race horses!!! They also love to print out labels from the back for you with no exception to how big or small of a job it is!!!! I even had him print out 30 pages from the back with no issues! They also give so many protective labels out with no attitude!' You gotta come to this UPS out of any other drop off/store in alllll the area! They are so nice!!!! They will beg you to stay, just ask them to print labels out from the back for you or have them help you to see what I'm talking about!! This one is extra friendly!!!!!! read more

May have just been a coincidence, but I sent 3 packages out from this location in the same day. 1 showed up missing 3 items (they helped me package the items because I needed to purchase a box). The other 2 boxes were returns to Amazon- 1 wasn't scanned so it was never returned and they said they can't find my tracking number to help me find the box. Could be bad luck, could be robbery. Either way I will never use this location again. read more

My dear friend Hannah visited this location today, and had a stellar experience. She does not have yelp, however, to yelp I could not help. Hannah entered the UPS store extremely confused as she does not frequently do returns. Anyway, so, she approached the touch screen printer with confidence, but was a little stumped after 3 minutes of trying to use the printer. A SUPER friendly and handsome staff member came over without hesitation, and turned on the printer! She then still somehow had difficulty, and, the staff member said "here, I can help" and just whipped right through all necessary steps to print the document. Amazing. Then Hannah was struggling to tape the return label onto her package, and the nice staff member said "here you go!" And offered a nice slip, simplifying the process for her. Then, Hannah got right online, as she approached the front, she noticed she taped the label onto the wrong package, and was panicked as she frantically attempted to rip it off. The kind staff member said "I can help you with that." And not only ripped off the label with success, but was also still able to read the numbers on the destroyed barcode in order to send it out. Although Hannah had a tough time as a first time returner (age 26), she walked out with confidence knowing that kind staff members could help her in her time of need. Absolutely stellar UPS location. The store was clean and well stocked, and offers notary service in addition to everything else.
