This is the closest UPS store to my home, and boy do I wish it wasn't. The staff is always miserable and seems bothered by any customer interaction. Purchasing a service? Miserable. Dropping off a pre-paid package? Complete bother. Picking up a delivery? End of the world hardship. First off, zero stars but it's requiring one. This place is the worst. Do not drop any packages off to return. They may mysteriously disappear. The UPS store (such as this one) are separate entities from UPS (the carrier) . The UPS Store is a franchised retail subsidiary. Think of UPS as the carrier, and The UPS Store as a physical, independently-owned storefront. From UPS website: To ensure your package return is legit and processed securely, you can use official UPS locations, authorized retail partners, or a UPS driver. Save yourself the aggravation and do it the legit way!!! It's VERY easy to look up actual UPS locations and will save you from the headache of wondering where your package went. read more

This is shady operation. First of all, they refused to take a UPS package to return to the sender, that was mistakenly left on my porch. Frustrated, I left the package at this Red Bank UPS store only to find out that when the rightful owner went to the store to ask if her package was returned they said NO, several times! Her husband returned to ask again if the package was returned and the manager again said NO! it was only after a police report was filed by the rightful owner that the package was handed over to a policeman who delivered it himself. Mysteriously, the package valued at $800 had been opened and re-taped. It makes me wonder what else is behind the counter at the Red Bank UPS store. You would hope that your package would be safe at a UPS Store. Sadly, this is not the case, Buyer BEWARE. read more

On the Saturday before Christmas week, they're closing at 3 o'clock still. At 305 I sat here and watched at least five people walk away extremely frustrated with packages that they were expecting to drop off. This town is way too busy on a weekend for these hours. read more

I literally never write reviews but the young long haired man they have working was exceptionally unhelpful, like he enjoys being unhelpful. I had come in the other day to drop off and simple Amazon return and was informed by another employee that I needed to have the box for this one to send it back. No problem. So I come back with the box today and this younger man said that I'd have to tape it to make the return. I asked if he had any tape and he said not for this. I told him it was the second time I'd been there trying to return it and asked if they had any tape I could use. He said "yes but not for this" and since I had said I'd been there before that he wouldn't make an exception. I was like, really? And he said, Yah. He just stared at me blankly, like he enjoyed it. So. Weird. I literally just needed a foot to tape. As I was walking out he called out after me " we have tape for purchase!". So, anyway, I hope he enjoyed his ounce of power and that and it was worth losing a long time customer. read more

We had a confirmed appointment for Notary at 2:15pm the lady was mean and aggressive. We were waiting in the back and the notary said we that this store does not work that way and made us go to the back in the line and wait behind walkins. As we waited she mumbled that she was going to be a while and kept saying it over and over until we just left. Horrible experience will never go back. read more

I had to walk back and forth for the past 30 minutes between my job and the UPS since they couldn't get the sizing right. Even though I had a literal tape measure and marked margins of how big it should be. I wasn't trying to have an attitude but they were being so rude to me and I swear if they let me on the computer I could have solved it in 5 minutes. They it wrong, not once, not twice, not thrice, but FIVE times currently (not pictured here) and then we're like "oh we aren't going to get it right before we close"Come back tomorrow." To which I responded NO because they had wasted my time and my bosses and I wanted to yield results so my boss knew he could rely on me. I want to love this place because it's so close to my house. Sending my husband and I went there. My husband said to the young man that was helping us. How are you today? He literally looked at my husband and didn't utter a word. I went there again today. I had an issue with one of the women that works there. She was consistently rude and just didn't want to do her job. Today when I went there. She was nothing but pleasant. Unfortunately, when I was walking into the store, I was obviously holding packages that I wanted to ship. The door opens out so it's always awkward trying to get in with the packages. After fumbling my way in, there's a young male standing there, watching me with the iPad in his hand asking If I was just dropping off. He didn't even think to open the door to make it easier for the customers get in and out. (there were two people that struggled to get into the store before me. He watched them struggle as well) at this point, it has to be the owners. They are not doing enough to train their people and hold them accountable. read more

Totally incomprehensible! Calling the store phone number gets the caller greeted by an automated message, stating that the caller is being sent to voicemail. Voicemail then answers with an automated message that the mailbox is full, and to please hang up. If the caller does not hang up, the virtual 'person' does it for them! If I ran my business this way, I wouldn't have a business. And, apparently, neither should these people!!! read more

I am so impressed by the employees at this location. The patience and kindness of Dave and the girl working today were outstanding. The customers they were assisting were absolutely horrible. The unrealistic expections, delusion, and rude behavior that the customers where demonstrating did not break their spirits at all. They were incredibly professional and patient. The employees at this location are true rockstars. I cannot thank Kevin enough for providing 5-star customer service from the moment I walked into the store. His professionalism and willingness to help me wrap and ship numerous fragile items came as a huge relief since I was pressed for time and had to catch a flight. It is definitely rare these days to be assisted by an employee who genuinely cares and does go the extra mile to provide exceptional customer service. This UPS location is a gem! read more

What a welcome spot! I was very impressed with their ability to willingly help. I came in to see if I can buy a roll of thermal paper and although they don't sell it, they proceeded to give it me a couple of rolls. I was in a jam at Riverview Hospital, having learned a patient was about to enter final stages and needed affairs resolved. The hospital does not provide a form Power of Attorney, so I called the closest UPS store to see if they had a form in stock. It did not, but it offered a free terminal. I drove over, and lickety-split I had immediate access to a terminal, where I populated, downloaded and printed 5 original durable powers of attorney all for $3.00. I was back bedside while the patient was conscious and competent. This place made a formidable task easy and done all within moments. Great customer concern, compassion, and service! read more

I have a Mail Box with the UPS Store, at 68 White Street, Red Bank NJ 07701 for about 5 years now. The two people that I see about 99% of the time are Susan and Bill. This is a very busy store, and everyone is taken care of with lightening speed. Both Susan and Bill multitask better than any two people I have ever met; And they do it calmly and always with a smile. There are many different tasks that they perform at the same time. Both are experts in every way. No matter how busy they are, they look up and say hello to me every time I go into the store. They know exactly where everything is, and not a single package or piece of mail of mine has every been lost. I highly recommend this UPS Team. read more
