Wasting money. Total sham. I was told 2 weeks, and I wont be getting my stuff until almost 3 weeks. I actually cannot believe I paid these people a dime. They went above and beyond. I JUST unpacked my crate with the paintings that prompted me to use them over a regular mover in the first place and I can't overstate how much care went into packing them. They went the extra mile. Even the guy who delivered the pallets to me in Seattle said he could tell true professionals prepared my shipment. I wish someone had written a review on Yelp! before I found them, it would have put my mind at ease but I really had nothing to worry about. They were quick. I found out I had to move across country 2 days before Thanksgiving! The guy who first took my call was polite and followed up several times to help make sure I could start moving ASAP after the holiday. Then the guys who picked up my stuff were true professionals. Watching them pack my stuff for transport to the warehouse was a thing of beauty. And they were just nice guys on top of it all. Then the guys dealing with my paperwork and the timing of my delivery were equally as nice. I had to store my stuff for a fuzzy amount of time because of problems nailing down a move-in date in Seattle. It was not a problem, even though it was the holiday. My move in date got moved up so they had to trigger my move a week or two early, and they timed it perfectly to the day! I could not move in until a Saturday, they had my stuff in Seattle by the first Monday after I was allowed in my apartment!! (They did this perfect timing miracle starting my shipment the Friday before Christmas and seeing it go across country during the New Years holiday!! They kept me in the loop. They were clear about the storage charges and even gave me a courtesy call before charging my card, even though I knew it was coming. If I ever move back east, I want these guys to take care of my move. Thank you!!!!! Thank you!!!!! Thank you!!!!!

I've only been here once and did leave empty handed but not without a few almost-take homes! I always start in the homegoods section because my closets are overflowing and I can never have too many tchotchkes, wall art, cute dishes, etc. They have rows and rows and rows any everything was incredibly reasonably priced. I think we have all been hearing about stores like this jacking up the prices for whatever reason, so I was thrilled to see they still have normally priced items. Shoes were by the plenty as well and I noticed some great brands like Madewell, Doc Martin, Call it Spring, etc. Unfortunatley nothing that I loved in a size 10 but I will be sure to return for check ins. I tried on a few mens blazers for that oversized look and even though I really liked a couple, opted out of getting them because the inside lining wasn't great. Again, at like $8/coat, it is really not a bad deal. I also found an Abercrombie oversized white button down with the tags still on but it was justttt a little too oversized at a XXL. Happy to have found another great thrift store to add to my list!

One time we had a pretty urgent electrical issue with an improperly wired stove from the previous owner , and Frank came out right away to help. Their pricing is very reasonable , and he is transparent with everything. The office staff is also very helpful with scheduling/billing. I appreciate the guidance with getting new equipment installed/replaced. He takes the time to provide explanations and reasoning which is a big plus. We just moved again, but are still local. We absolutely will be calling them in the future!

On the first visit, Frank himself came and told me about problems I had, including those with my CO2 but said that that could be done at a later time. No other reason given. When I went to my township, I was told that my CO2 ceilling monitors were all electric wired. I subsequently called Mineo to my home to replace all the CO2 ceiling monitors and to date, one guy came, did absolutely nothing except leave my house and call (probably his boss) and said that he would come back. Have you seen him? I paid him $200 cash. His invoice that he gave me after I paid him was for $180. Aside from owing me money, I have called a half dozen times since then (yes, Jen) and I am getting what is commonly known as the run around. I gave the company one last time before writing this, but I guess they just don't care.

Here's what happened in Chronological order: Love Bombing and Boundary Crossing Refusing to respect when i said No At the same time given Abnormal Privileges like access to Employee and Volunteer only areas Being given priority over other people in need, and right in front of them Being given other people's donations Personal Space Violations, 2 or 3 of the male Volunteers violated my Personal Space by walking extremely close to me, and usually behind me. Triggered the shit out of me. Put me on High Defense. DON'T EVER COME WITHIN ARMS LENGTH OF A WOMAN WITHOUT HER PERMISSION AND NEVER EVER APPROACH A WOMAN FROM BEHIND ITS COMMON SENSE They clearly don't care whether i feel safe or not. Directors Ego, kept insisting i give him attention. I was avoiding the Director on purpose because he has bad vibes. So he'd search me out to make sure he was acknowleged. That only put me off even more. Found out about the Privacy Violations Some staff was telling others private information about me , and information that put me in jeopardy, like that im living in my Vehicle, and where i was staying. And other sensitive information. I never would have consented to that, but they never asked me anyway. Interrogated me every visit, putting me in the Hot Seat and making me EXTREMELY DEFENSIVE AND ALERT. This alone nearly made me flee for safety reasons. That same staff member also asked my underwear size.i didn't give it, and said i didn't need it, so the staff member bought underwear anyway and tried to get me to take it in front of others. I didn't. Same staff member offered me her username and password to her personal online account. I quickly dodged that bullet. Numerous Staff and Volunteers seemed to very much dislike me for no reason. I thought at first maybe its because i was being given wierd Privileges like to walk behind the scenes. But that's probably not what it really was. I got some dirty looks, one staff member walking away disinterested while i was talking about what being homeless is like, and lots of fakeness from some others. I found that only a handful treated me like a person. Mostly i was treated like i was inferior, and / or detested. And that my safety, comfort, preferences, and boundaries mean nothing. The Last day i went, a few interesting things happened. i finally used the access privilege and walked around looking for someone, a Volunteer spoke with me to arrange helping me repair my Vehicle and setting up an employment interview in a field i used to work in and Loved. While that conversation was taking place, the Director stormed into that Office, visually very angry, and pulled the Manager into his office. When the Manager came back she told me she had a project for me. She later walked me to a wall in the Warehouse and told me that there was a complaint of an odor, and that the Director wanted me to leave and go take a Shower at a male Volunteers building. That was the last thing i was going to experience from them. i grabbed my purse and bolted out of the Food Bank, ne'er to return. It very much looked like the Director thought that i was under his command, or in debt to him in some way, and must do as he dictates. Incorrect. And the last thing i would do is make myself THAT vulnerable to those i do not know, males LEAST OF ALL. This was the Biggest Red Flag, waving High in the Sky. Idecided its best to not have any affiliation with that Food Bank at all, and take no more donations. To cut the ties. I responded to a Text from the Manager saying some of what i typed here, airing some Complaints, and then stopped communicating. After all that, the Manager: *Gave out my Phone number *Tried to reopen the door by sending a donation my way. I refused it. I have never in my Life had to go through so much for a little Food. It's just not Worth it. Go somewhere that's Healthy to be. This place will take a serious toll on your mental health and may even lead to disaster. And don't EVER think that you owe anyone anything in exchange for donations. That's how they get ya. You don't owe them anything at all. The donations are INTENDED for you. You don't owe anyone any Favors, or Obedience. Just say Thank You and LEAVE
